Can anyone explain how (if any) the transition happened from Demolition Crush to Kona Crush?
I seem to know how he went from Kona Crush to Evil Crush to Jailbird Crush to DOA Crush, but from Demo to Kona stumps me.

WWE simply broken them up and gave them each singles runs. WM VII or shortly thereafter, Demolition broke-up and Repo Man debuted in the summer of '91 if memory serves me correctly. I forget when Crush re-emerged as Kona Crush.

Yeh I remember he had a series of vignettes of him working out on WWF superstars for a few months - building up his debut - just showing how strong he is etc.

Yeah, they pretty much took him off TV for a little while after Demolition broke up. Then they re-introduced him with the new gimmick as a babyface, starting with the vignettes someone else mentioned.

...How DID he become Jailbird Crush? Well, no REAL answer to that either.. he just did. but Clarance Mason was his attorney/manager which then hooked him up with Faarooq and later, the Nation of Domination.

he became jailbird crush after he was arrested for weapons possession in 1995 and didn't appear in the wwf again until 1996, at which point the announcers noted his time in prison and he beat up some plants in the audience who called him jailbird
