We open to LP Field in Nashville, Tennessee, with thousands of fans flying out of their chairs as the pyro lights up the sky..

JR: Welcome everyone to ECW Distance II!!!

Paul Adams: It is here, quite possibly THE BIGGEST show EVER in ECW history!!

JR: What a show we have for you!! Tonight, the ECW Worlds Championship is defended, as the champion Hafiz goes up against challenger Eddie Guerrero!! Also, the Tag Team Titles are defended, as Miracle Violence Connection defends against Hawkins and Ryder!!

Adams: Not only that, we will see the return of the Kensuke Offices, as Jillian faces Katie Lea, Chris Prospect faces off with teammate Nakajima, Kensuke Sasaki faces off with Justin Tyger, and in our main event, probably the biggest match ever, not only in ECW, but ever, as Ric Flair faces off against Kenta Kobashi!!!

JR: Not only that, we have Viper defending the US Title against Taiyo Kea, Age of the Fall faces Chavo Guerrero and the Dynasty, and finally, in what sure will be a slobber knocker, Dusty Rhodes faces off with Trevor Murdoch in a Bullrope match!!

Adam: What a show we have for you, and, let’s get started, as we go backstage to Jillian Hall!!



We cut backstage to Jillian Hall, standing outside the Women‘s locker room..

It’s been a month…. A month of hard work in Japan training.. You know what?? I’m not gonna let it go to waste.. I know I haven’t won a lot of matches here in ECW, but, it may have took a month in Japan, but, ALL of that has changed now.. I am not that little blondie that loses to Beth Phoenix anymore.. There is a new me, and no longer and I gonna lost to Katie, to Beth, or to ANYONE… Again





Jillian and Katie meet in the middle of the ring, as Jillian does something she’s never done before, and takes control of the match!! Jillian hits Katie with several elbows, and shoots her off, and hit’s a spin kick!! Jillian jumps up, excited from hitting the move she learned from Hokuto, but in her excitement, Katie rolls her up!!

Jillian quickly rolls out and dropkicks Katie, before she quickly goes for a pin..

Katie kicks out, and staggers up, to be met by another kick from Jillian.. Jillian picks her up and throws her off, and slams her down with a spine buster, and goes for another pin..

Katie barely kicks out, as Jillian picks Katie up, as Jillian smiles, and sets her up for the Dangerous Queen Bomb, which connects!! Jillian drops down and pins Katie with Akira Hokuto’s pin!!

1...2...3!!!

Jillian jumps and celebrates, with a huge smile on her face.. She walks up the ramp, and is met by Justin Tyger, who gives her a huge hug, before they walk to the back..



We cut backstage to Taiyo Kea..

Viper.. I like you.. You’re a great guy, a great wrestler, and a great champion.. I respect you more than almost everyone in ECW.. But do realize, buddy, that all of that doesn’t matter when we’re out there.. Friendship, Respect, all of it, goes out the window when we meet in that ring.. Tonight, your US Title is on the line again.. I almost beat you for that title once already.. Tonight?? There won’t be any almost to it.. I almost got you once in five minutes, and tonight? I got all the time I want.. Tonight, we will have a new US Champion.. And his name is Taiyo Kea





The two men meet in the ring, and shake hands… They collide, as Viper takes control over Kea.. Viper keeps control, before Kea turns it around and hits a Hurricane Spike!!

Viper kicks out, before Kea goes on the attack, not letting up on Viper.. Kea picks Viper up… Hawaiian Smasher!!

Viper kicks out again!! Kea picks Viper up, and shoots him off!! Kea throws a lariat, but Viper dunks!! Superkick!!

1...2...3!!

No!! Kea puts his foot on the rope!! Viper picks Kea up, Viper throws him off, but Kea dropkicks Viper in the leg!! Viper falls to a knee… Shining Wizard!!

NO!! Viper kicks out!! Kea picks Viper up, but Viper shoves him off, SUPERKIC-…. Kea catches his foot and spins him!! Kea picks Viper up…. H5O!!!

Kea stands up, as we have a new US Champion!! Viper staggers up, and looks at Kea, as he shakes his hand!!



We cut back to Kenny Omega..

You know, I haven’t been in ECW very long, but you know, I don’t think anyone can dispute that I am one of the best today.. I’ve beaten the Jerichos, the Rhodes.. Nothing is gonna stop the rise of this Omega in ECW.. No Riley, not Brannan, noone.. Kenny Omega is here to stay, no doubt about that.. Brannan, Riley, Jericho.. You’ll soon realize just how powerful this Dynasty is..





Gavin and Ryan start off, as Ryan quickly gets control.. Ryan throws Gavin off, and quickly goes for a Future Shock, but Gavin slips out of it, and tags in Kenny Omega.. Kenny tackles Ryan down, as the rest of Age of the Fall charges the ring.. They attack Kenny, before Gavin and Chavo run in!! A complete melee ensues, before things clear up, and Omega hits Brannan with a Croyt’s Wrath!!

Omega rolls out of the ring, just as Age of the Fall charge back in!! Brannan staggers up, dumbfounded!! Omega raises his arms, after pinning the former TV Champion!! Gavin and Chavo join Kenny as the go to the back!!



We cut backstage to Curt Hawkins and Zach Ryder..

Ryder: Tonight… We can’t sum up in words how important tonight is for us..

Hawkins: You see, tonight is out chance to shine, our chance to prove everyone that Hawkins and Ryder are here to stay..

Ryder: And we start, tonight, by beating the tag team champions Terry Gordy and Steve Williams.. Then no one.. No one can doubt that we simply the best tag team in ECW, not only today, but ever..

Hawkins: Tonight is it.. There is no more Wasting Time.. We’re in the middle of it now…

Ryder: And there ain’t no going back now..





Ryder and Gordy start it off, as Ryder charges at Gordy.. Zach runs right into Terry, who doesn’t move.. Zach backs up and runs, hitting a brink wall.. Zach tries again, but is hit with a clothesline, which sends him to the ground.. Gordy and Williams manhandle Hawkins and Ryder, sending them flying across the ring..

It’s down to Ryder and Gordy, as Ryder runs at Gordy, who dodges!! On the rebound, Gordy kicks Zach in the chest, and hit’s a power bomb!!

Terry and Steve slowly stand up and walk off with their titles..



We cut to a crazed Murdoch backstage

Yee listen here, Dusty Rhodes.. Whatever happened in the past between us is in the past.. The tag titles, the matches we won, the barbeques we went to, NOTHING.. NOTHING matters anymore.. The only thing that matters is that YOU thought it was best to turn around and turn you back on me.. Dusty you’re about to get a lesson.. Yeah maybe one of the best ever, yeah maybe you’re a legend, but right now?? None of that matters… Right now the only thing that matters is that now?? I hate you, and nothing is EVER gonna change that.. Right now we’re just to rasslers, and Dusty?? You about to be my bitch, you can bet your bottom dollar on that!!





The ref ties the ropes to each of the men's hands, as they stare with cold hatred across the rings from each other. The ref rings the bell, and Dusty pulls Murdoch towards him via the rope, and hits him with a stiff clothesline. He picks up the cowbell and smashes it across Trevor's head, busting him open on the second shot. Dusty tries for a pin.

1...2... No!

Trevor pushes out. Dusty picks him up, but Trevor rakes his eyes and kicks his gut. He places his head between his legs and picks him up, Piledriver!!

1...2...No!!

Dusty kicks out. Trevor picks him up again, along with the cowbell. CLUNK! The cowbell is smashed over Rhodes' head. Trevor mounts him, and hits Dusty with rights and lefts, bloodying his former friend. He gets up and calls for another piledriver... and connects!

1...2....No!

Again, he kicks out. Trevor pulls Dusty up, and climbs up the top, but Dusty yanks on the rope, sending Murdoch flying. Murdoch lands on his back, and Dusty limps over to him. He leaps up, connects with a leg drop.

1...2... No!

Trevor kicks out. Dusty throws him into the turnbuckle, and splashes him repeatedly. He pulls him out and smacks the cowbell over his face, blood gushes out of his skull. Dusty wraps the rope around the neck of Murdoch, and pulls. Murdoch gasps for air.... after minutes, Dusty releases it and picks up Murdoch. Murdoch grabs the cowbell as he is getting up... BAM! The cowbell connects with Dusty's skull. Dusty wobbles, but Trevor grabs him and tucks his head in between is legs again... he calls for it, as the fans rise... ACE OF SPADES!!

1...2...3!

Trevor looks at his downed opponent as the ref unlocks the brace. Trevor raises his arms and celebrates his victory.



We cut to the back to Chris Prospect walking down a hallway, were he runs into Nakajima..

Chris: Oh, hey man, I just wanted to say that no matter what happens tonight..

Chris extends his hand, which Nakajima shakes..

Chris:…. We’re still the fifth contenders for those tag belts…

Nakajima and Chris laugh..

Chris: See you out there, man..

Nakajima: See you..

Nakajima and Chris walk their separate ways..





Katsuhiko Nakajima and Chris Prospect lock up and chain wrestle. Nakajima gets a headlock takeover, goes into a headscissors and Prospect nips up. Prospect gets a headlock takeover, goes into a headscissors and nips up. They're at a stalemate. Nakajima goes for a high kick. Prospect blocks it with his elbow and kicks away at Nakajima's leg. Nakajima fires back with kicks. But Prospect blocks them with his arm. Prospect goes for a kick to the head. But Nakajima ducks it Matrix style. Then Nakajima starts slapping Prospect in the face to fire him up. Prospect tackles Nakajima to the mat. Now they're in MMA position. Prospect throws a punch and lands it square in the nose of Nakajima. Nakajima gets pissed, turns it around and starts blasting Prospect with palm strikes. Prospect rolls out of the ring.

Nakajima follows Prospect outside the ring and just hits him with a running Yakuza kick. He throws Prospect into the guardrail and kicks away at his chest. He throws Prospect back in the ring and covers.

1....2..... kickout!

Nakajima puts Prospect into a sleeper hold. The ref checks his arm.

1.......2....... Prospect brings his arm up before it hits three.

He elbows Nakajima in the gut and lands an enzuigiri flush to the back of the head. Nakajima is stunned. Prospect hits a backdrop suplex and floats over!

1.....2...... Nakajima kicks out.

Prospect delivers a dragon kick to the back of Nakajima. He delivers five. It's not even affecting him. It's just making him mad. Nakajima gets up. PALM STRIKE RIGHT TO THE EAR! Prospect goes straight down and he could have lost some hearing there.

Nakajima follows Prospect into the corner where Prospect has backed himself into. Then he just starts laying in stiff and repetitive elbow strikes to the point where Prospect's eyes are glazed over and he just goes out like a light. Nakajima pulls him into the middle of the ring and pins him.

1.....2...... NO! Prospect barely gets the shoulder up.

Nakajima picks him up and hits a snap suplex. Cover.

1....2..... Prospect kicks out again. Nakajima picks him up and goes for the German Suplex Hold. Prospect counters and goes around. DEATH ROLL! His own move! Nakajima goes down! Prospect covers!

1......2....... Nakajima kicks out!

Prospect picks Nakajima up and Irish whips him. LARIAT! COVER!

1.......2....... Nakajima kicks out!

Prospect picks Nakajima up and Nakajima hits a crescent kick and then a roundhouse to the side of Prospect's head. Prospect is stunned. Nakajima hits the R-15! Nakajima picks up Prospect and hits the German Suplex Hold!

The bell rings!!!

This match has been declared a time limit draw!! Nakajima and Chris stand in the middle of the ring and shake hands, and fall into each other, before they both walk to the back..



We cut back to ECW World Champion Hafiz..

I came to ECW to fulfill my dream.. That there is no difference between race, color, creed.. I proved that the day before Martin Luther King Jr. Day, one of my heroes.. You know what, I prove him right and the whole world wrong, when a black man walked into ECW and won the world title.. You know, that isn’t going to change tonight..

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery.. None but ourselves can free our minds…





Hafiz and Guerrero clash in the center of the ring.. Guerrero drags Hafiz across the ring, Hafiz returns the favor with an arm drag of his own. They clash again, Guerrero this time dropping to his back and sending Hafiz flying with a monkey flip. Hafiz lands on his back, hard. Guerrero jumps to his feet and continues the pressure on Hafiz. He picks him up, and hits a swift snap suplex, he goes for the pin.

1...2... NO!

Hafiz got the shoulder up. Guerrero scales the turnbuckle, anticipating Hafiz to get up. However, Hafiz leaps for the rope, and puts all of his force onto it, as a result Guerrero slips and lands right on his jewels. Hafiz climbs up the turnbuckle, and starts hitting Guerrero in the head. 1...2...3...4.... He releases. He puts his hand in the air, taunting Eddie and his fans. Eddie throws him off, and Hafiz lands on his back. Eddie pulls himself to a slight standing position on the turnbuckle, and does his taunt. He leaps off, connecting with a Frog Splash!

1...2... No!!

Hafiz gets the shoulder up, as Eddie sits in shock. He picks him up, and tucks his head in between his arm pit, and hits one, two, three suplexes! He gets up, and stares at the turnbuckle, but doesn't go to it. Instead he locks legs with Hafiz, applying pressure with a Lasso from El Paso. Hafiz pulls himself to the ropes, and grabs it. Eddie releases and waits for Hafiz to get up. He charges, but Hafiz ducks. Dream Catcher!

1...2...3!

Hafiz retains his Championship!! Hafiz charges up the ramp with his belt, as Eddie stands up in the ring, obviously fuming..



We cut to Justin Tyger, backstage in a dark corner..

After all I’ve done… All I’ve done… I built this promotion.. From the ground up.. I’ve been ECW champion twice.. Won the tag titles countless times.. And I’m suddenly not good enough?? I’ve done wonders for myself here in Tennessee… Japan… Kentucky… and I’m suddenly not…. Good enough.. I’m… Ha-ha… I’m not good enough… Well, Kensuke… We’re about to see who’s not good enough anymore…. Ha-ha… The soul fire… That’s…. Ha-ha.. That’s still good enough…





"Cocaine Cowboys" plays as, Tennessee native, "Soulfire" Justin Tyger walks out, as intense as ever..

"Take The Dream" plays as Kensuke Sasaki walks out, with a Kensuke Offices flag draped over his shoulders..

Justin Roberts: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first... From Lebanon, Tennessee, weighing in at 243 pounds... "Soulfire".... JUSTIN TTTYYYYYGGGEERRR!!!

The crowd erupts as Justin slowly slips off his ring robe..

Justin Roberts: and his opponent... From Fukuoka, Japan, weighing in at 243 pounds..... SASAAAAAKKKIIII KENSUKKKKKEEEEE!!!!

The crowd is stomping their feet and clapping. They are going crazy before Kensuke Sasaki even makes a move. They know they're about to see something special. They lock up. Kensuke is obviously the stronger of the two and he powers Justin Tyger into the corner. He backs off to give Tyger a clean break. The crowd is anxiously anticipating the first strike or move in the match. The first strike is thrown by Kensuke, as he lights Tyger's chest up with a chop. Tyger goes straight down. He has never faced anyone that chops this hard. Tyger is in serious pain. But he gets an adrenaline rush and chops Kensuke right in the chest. It doesn't budge Kensuke. Kensuke chops Tyger. TYGER IS STILL STANDING! Tyger is pissed and unleashes a series of chops to Kensuke's chest. Kensuke fires back. They're at a faceoff, nose-to-nose! Tyger dropkicks Kensuke's legs out from under him. He goes to work on the short legs of Kensuke.

This is a smart strategy as it isn't going to take much to take out the legs of a short guy. Tyger puts him in a leg lock. Kensuke makes it to the ropes. He keeps going back to work on Kensuke's right leg. He goes for the figure-four leglock. Kensuke just pushes Tyger away and runs off the ropes hitting Tyger with a lariat! Tyger flies out of the ring. Kensuke follows him outside the ring and dishes out more vicious chops to the chest of Tyger. Tyger is in pain. Kensuke throws Tyger into the guardrail and charges with a chop to Tyger's throat! Kensuke is still limping from the damage done inside the ring. Kensuke rolls Tyger back into the ring and pins him.

1...2... NO!

Tyger will not die. Kensuke pushes Tyger into the corner and pummels him with punches and strikes. Tyger's nose is busted. Kensuke boots him in the face and drags him to the middle of the ring.

Tyger kicks out again!

The crowd is cheering on both guys, dueling chants. Tyger pumps up and delivers punches to the rock solid mid-section of Kensuke. He dropkicks Kensuke right in the head and Kensuke gets rocked into the ropes. Tyger delivers a series of elbow strikes to Kensuke and a suplex. 1... almost two. Tyger drops an elbow.

1..2..

Kensuke kicks out. Tyger is feeling viciousness and begins just STOMPING THE FACE OF KENSUKE! THIS IS BRUTAL! The ref pulls Tyger off of Kensuke. Tyger picks Kensuke ups and delivers a German Suplex and he floats over into the crossface. Kensuke is in trouble. That's damaging the already injured face of Kensuke after those stomps. Kensuke makes it to the ropes.

Tyger pulls Kensuke back into the middle of the ring but Kensuke just powers Tyger up into Samoan drop position and just switches the position into a powerbomb. Tyger hits a Hurricanrana hold!

1...2...

Kensuke just powers out of it back into powerbomb position. He powerbombs Tyger into the corner and charges at him with a lariat! Then he hits a backdrop suplex and picks him up, then hits a German Suplex! He covers him!

1.....2......

TYGER BARELY KICKS OUT! Kensuke begins just pounding the face of Tyger hoping for a referee stoppage. But Tyger starts coming back and delivers stomps to Kensuke's face! The referee is moments away from calling it a stoppage. Kensuke just rises up and turns into a beast. He chops Tyger. Tyger chops back. They keep going back and forth! Finally Tyger drops. Kensuke covers.

Tyger kicks out!

Both guys are bleeding badly from the nose and mouth area. This is absolutely brutal. Kensuke picks Tyger up and just boots him in the face! Tyger has a crimson mask. Kensuke just begins pounding the face of Tyger and blood is splattering all over the ring. The ref is about to call a stoppage. Tyger makes it to the ropes and Kensuke just keeps going.

1...2...3...4... Kensuke gets up. The damage is done. Kensuke picks Tyger up. Tornado Bomb! Kensuke covers! This could be it.

NOOOOOOO! Tyger kicked out! Kensuke is acting like this is another day in the Dojo as he is just completely destroying Tyger. Tyger is showing one thing, though. He has learned a lot training with Kensuke and company in Japan compared to their match a month ago.

Kensuke picks up Tyger. Tyger delivers a very stiff palm strike that knocks Kensuke's eyes into the back of his head. Tyger hit an enzuigiri! Tyger delivers multiple Germans. But he is unable to bridge on the sixth one. He makes the cover.

Kensuke kicks out! Tyger just gets on Kensuke in mount positions and starts pounding away and Kensuke's head starts gushing blood as well. Both of these guys are just immensely bleeding. He goes for the Death Star and hits it!

KENSUKE KICKS OUT! The crowd's knees are shaking and they're on the edge of their seats. He lifts him up for the Northern Lights Bomb, which is Kensuke's finisher. Kensuke drops down and punches Tyger square in the face. Tyger is out cold. The referee begins counting Tyger down.

1....2....3.....4.....5....6....7....8...

Tyger begins grabbing the ropes but falls... 9....

TYGER NIPS UP! OH MY GOD! Tyger falls back down after the nip-up. But he is still alive in this match! Kensuke is extremely surprised. Maybe he taught him a little too much. Kensuke puts Tyger into the strangle hold. Blood is dripping on the mat from Tyger's wound. He makes it to the ropes!

Kensuke is extremely tired. But he is able to lift Tyger up. Kensuke goes for the Volcano Eruption and HITS IT! THIS ONE IS OVER!

TYGER KICKS OUT AGAIN! Tyger is tougher than ever and he's proving it tonight against one of the best in Japan. Kensuke doesn't know what to do. Kensuke Irish whips Tyger into the corner. Kensuke goes up for a Frankensteiner. TYGER COUNTERS IT INTO THE BLOND BOMBSHELL! Shades of the late Chris Candido with the Blond Bombshell. TYGER COVERS!

KENSUKE KICKS OUT!

Tyger picks Kensuke up and delivers the Northern Lights Bomb! COVER!!!

NOOOOOOOOOO! TYGER LIFTS HIM UP AND HITS ANOTHER! Kensuke is out cold! Kensuke rolls out of the ring. The referee begins the ten count.

Kensuke starts getting up.........7.......

Kensuke makes it back in! Tyger covers!

KENSUKE KICKS OUT! Tyger picks up Kensuke and hits a Tiger Suplex Hold!

KENSUKE KICKS OUT! THIS IS BRUTAL! Tyger picks him up and runs off the ropes chopping Kensuke directly in the throat. Kensuke is now coughing up blood. Tyger runs off the ropes and delivers a lariat right to the throat, where he just delivered a vicious chop! He picks him up and hits a standing lariat to the throat and covers!

NOOOOOOOOO! KENSUKE IS STILL ALIVE!

Tyger picks Kensuke up for the Death Star. But he doesn't have enough energy left! Kensuke falls and delivers a standing lariat to the nose of Tyger. He gets an adrenaline rush from the crowd! He punches Tyger in the face and runs off the ropes, HITS A VICIOUS LARIAT AND TYGER LANDS ON HIS HEAD! He completes the sequence hitting three lariats! He begins stomping the head of Tyger in. Tyger is out cold. But the referee does not ring the bell. Both men are bleeding waterfalls at this point. Kensuke picks up the lifeless Tyger and hits the Northern Lights Bomb! AND HE COVERS HIM!

KENSUKE WINS! BUT TYGER TOOK HIM TO THE LIMIT! Everyone in the crowd gives both men a standing ovation. Tyger staggers up, and fall into Kensuke.. Tyger stands up, and extends his hand, as Kensuke takes it.. Tyger raises Kensuke’s hand before he walks off..



We cut to Paul Adams and Jim Ross..

JR: What a night we have seen so far!!

Adams: And the biggest is yet to come!! In moments… We are about to see, quite literally, the biggest match EVER in ECW, if not wrestling history..

JR: As wrestling legend, former ECW World Champion, Former ECW General Manager, Leader of the Four Horsemen, Ric Flair, faces off against another legend Kenta Kobashi…

Adams: Let’s not forget that just a year and 2 months ago Kenta Kobashi returned to wrestling after battling CANCER!! A match that Kobashi won decisively….

JR: Well, Paul, there’s nothing left to do but sit back and watch…

Adam: Because two gods are about to collide!!!





Wooooooooooooo! is heard throughout the venue as "Space Odyssey 2001" hits and Ric Flair makes his way to the ring to a standing ovation.

The opening notes to "Grand Sword" hit and the crowd goes absolutely nuts. Kobashi makes his way to the ring in his black and purple robe with fans almost jumping the rail to touch him. He steps through the ropes and stares Flair down. Flair stares back. The ring introductions begin... the crowd is absolutely electric...

Justin Roberts: The following contest is your MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first... from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 242 pounds... "THE NATURE BOY" RIIIIIC FLAAAAIIIIIRRRRR!

The crowd goes nuts for the legend....

Justin Roberts: And his opponent... from Fucuchiyama, Japan.... weighing in at 282 pounds... KOOOOOBASHIIIIIIII KEEEEEENTAAAAAAAAAA!!!

The crowd throws streamers into the ring, and the standing ovation for minutes. The bell finally rings and we are ready to get this dream match started.

The crowd is still going crazy and neither men have even touched each other. We have fans flown in all the way from New York, the UK, Australia, Venezuela... for a chance to see the legend that is Kenta Kobashi live in person. There are even fans from Tokyo here to see Kobashi wrestle Flair. This is a dream match for every wrestling fan all around the world. They go nose to nose and they're at a staredown. The crowd is STILL electric. Flair slicks his hair back and stalls. Kobashi is telling him to come on and throw the first strike. Flair rolls out of the ring to boos from the Nashville crowd. He's playing this match smart. He doesn't want to rush into a match with Kenta Kobashi. He's going to need strategy if he wants to defeat Kobashi. Flair slowly rolls back into the ring. The crowd is dead quiet. They're awaiting the first chop. Kobashi can't take it anymore. He goes straight for Flair and lights his chest up with a HUGE chop that echoes throughout the building and the crowd goes nuts! Flair rolls back out of the ring holding his chest and you can already see his chest turning red. The referee begins counting Flair out. He takes his time and rolls in at 18.

This is where the match gets really interesting. Flair chopblocks the bad knee of Kobashi and Kobashi goes straight down. He stomps the right knee and leg. Kobashi has a grimace on his face. The crowd is loving it. Flair ties Kobashi's leg up in the rope and comes down on it with a senton. He picks Kobashi up and delivers a chop. It doesn't seem to affect Kobashi too much. But Kobashi is in so much pain from his knee and leg being worked over. Flair throws Kobashi into the corner. He chops and chops him again. MACHINE GUN CHOPS! Kobashi gives him a death stare. He throws Flair into the corner and delivers machine gun chops! Flair looks like he is about to have a heart attack from the chops. He delivers forty of them. Flair is hunched over in the corner and Kobashi begins stomping at the head of Flair. He picks Flair up in the corner and delivers a stiff chop to Flair's throat, throws him down to the mat and covers, first cover of the match.

1...2.. and Flair kicks out.

Kobashi locks in the sleeper hold. Flair is beginning to fade away. The ref begins raising his arm.

1....2.... no!

Flair fights out of it and delivers elbows to Kobashi's gut. Then he starts chopping away at the knees of Kobashi! Kobashi is down to one knee and he delivers five chops to the chest of Kobashi and he goes down. Flair makes the cover.

1...2... Kobashi powers out.

He goes for the figure four leglock!! But Kobashi pushes Flair forward and rolls him up!

1...2... Flair kicks out!

Both men go straight to their feet. But Kobashi has a little trouble because of his right leg and knees. He limps over to Flair and chops him. Flair backs into the ropes. Kobashi doesn't give him a clean break. He just chops him! He goes for the half nelson suplex! But Flair holds onto the top rope. He grabs Kobashi in jawbreaker position and strangles Kobashi on the top rope. He begins stomping the throat of Kobashi and puts him into a sleeper. It seems have he's below the chin on it. But the referee lets it go because this is a match of epic proportions. Kobashi is spitting all over the place. He's trying to choke the man out! He could be out. Flair lets go and pins him.

1...2.... NO! Kobashi is NOT out. He's still alive!

Flair picks Kobashi up and delivers a backdrop suplex right on point and floats over into a pinning predicament.

1...2... Kobashi kicks out.

Kobashi begins to get up and Flair goes up top. Kobashi catches Flair and throws him off the top and onto the mat! Flair hold his back and Kobashi catches him! Half nelson suplex! Kobashi covers!

1....2.... Flair kicks out!

The crowd is extremely hot right now. Kobashi puts in the full nelson to work over Flair's neck more and scissors his legs around Flair's body. Flair is going nowhere. Flair is a lot closer to the ropes than Kobashi originally thought. So he makes it to the ropes. But lots of damage was done to Flair's neck. Kobashi does falling chops to the back of Flair's neck. He then locks in the camel clutch and Flair in serious trouble. Kobashi lets go, stands Flair up and delivers a rolling kesagiri chop. Flair hits the mat. Kobashi covers.

1......2..... Flair kicks out!

Kobashi puts Flair in a standing sleeper. But Flair backs Kobashi into the corner. He chops away at Kobashi's chest. The chops are FINALLY affecting him. Kobashi is feeling it big time and his chest is beginning to welt up. Flair sets Kobashi up on the top rope. SUPERPLEX! Both men are down and hurt. Flair makes the cover somehow.

1.....2..... Kobashi kicks out!

Flair is up and he drops an elbow onto the legs of Kobashi. He's trying to work both of them. He goes for the figure four leglock. HE HAS IT LOCKED IN! KOBASHI IS IN SERIOUS JEOPARDY OF LOSING THE MATCH! He's dead center in the middle of the ring. Kobashi starts easily pulling towards the ropes with his arm strength dragging across the mat. This is crazy! He makes it to the ropes! It seems like the figure four leglock will not get the job done unless his arms are useless. Flair takes the right of Kobashi and slams it into the mat. He's trying to take away the chops AND the lariats. He stomps the right arm of Kobashi and again. He repeatedly stomps it! The referee almost calls for the bell. But he remembers the importance of the match and doesn't call for stoppage. Kobashi's arm is limp. He bars the arm and goes to work on it. Kobashi grabs Flair's hair with his left arm and throws him aside. He gets up and chops Flair right in the mouth with his bad arm! Flair is spitting up blood.

Flair backs into the corner and Kobashi lights him up with machine gun chops, slower than usual due to his bad arm. But it's still affecting Flair. He sets Flair up in the corner in reverse position. He teases the Burning Hammer. But instead, he delivers the Burning Sword from turnbuckle position and Flair comes crashing down on his neck. He's in serious trouble. Kobashi locks in the standing sleeper again. Turns it into the sleeper suplex and HITS IT! Kobashi covers.

1.....2..... Flair kicks out!

Kobashi picks him up and runs off the ropes. He drills Flair with a lariat! He makes the cover.

1............2................ NO! HE KICKED OUT AGAIN!

Kobashi picks him up again. He goes for the standing burning lariat. Flair ducks! He grabs Kobashi's arm and has it barred in a really awkward position. Kobashi could be inches away from tapping. But he makes it to the ropes and is saved. Flair doesn't let go! The referee begins the five count.

1....2....3....4..... "Come on, Ric!" says the ref. He has exceeded his limit. But the referee is letting it slide and he pulls Flair off by his hair. Damage has been done. He puts Kobashi into a hammerlock and hits a backdrop suplex. He covers Kobashi.

1......2..... Kobashi kicks out!

Flair comes off the ropes and knee drops the right leg. He goes to work on it with an Indian death lock. Kobashi is feeling it. He's screaming in agony. Flair goes for the figure four leglock again. But Kobashi pushes him away. Kobashi stands up. But he's limping. Flair gets him up for a suplex and he suplexes him over the top rope! Both men come crashing down on the concrete floor. And the ref begins the 20 count. They're both up at 8 and chopping the hell out of each other. Kobashi gets the better of the exchange and sends Flair into the front row with a charging chop at 12. Kobashi rolls back in at 13.

14........ 15........ 16........ Flair begins to stand up. 17............ 18...........

Flair steps over the guardrail. 19.............

Flair DIVES for the ring apron and barely makes it back in! But he's greeted by Kobashi, who lights him up with rapid kesagiri chops to the collarbone. STANDING BURNING LARIAT CONNECTS! FLAIR IS OUT COLD! KOBASHI COVERS!

1................................2.............................FLAIR KICKS OUT!

Kobashi can't believe it! He thought he had the match won right there. So Kobashi has tried the half nelson suplex, the sleeper suplex, the running burning lariat and the standing burning lariat. None have been successful. Kobashi picks him up and Flair thumbs him in the eye. Flair chops away at the knees of Kobashi. Kobashi goes straight down. Flair goes up top and hits a flying knee drop to Kobashi's legs! Kobashi is in trouble. His right arm is taken out and both of his legs are taken out. He's in the middle of the ring. Flair lets out a huge wooooooo and locks in the figure four leglock! This could be it! Kobashi is in serious trouble here. He has no strength left in his right arm to pull towards the ropes! He is screaming and the crowd can't believe Kobashi is millimeters away from losing this match. The figure four leglock has been locked in for three minutes straight. The crowd are on the edge of their seats. Kobashi may have passed out. He's not responsive. The referee counts his shoulders to the mat.

1..................2.................... KOBASHI RISES UP!

Kobashi uses his left arm to chop away at the face of Flair! Flair is bleeding from the mouth and forehead now! He fits a rather weak lariat to the face of Flair. But it's enough to take Flair down. Kobashi sends Flair into the ropes, kitchen sink! He gets him in the center of the ring, Burning Sword! Kobashi picks him up, turns him around. He puts him in the half nelson. But he clutches the wrist! HALF NELSON EXPLODER! Kobashi covers!

1............2............. FLAIR KICKS OUT!

Kobashi lifts Flair up. ORANGE CRUSH! ORANGE CRUSH! This has got to be it.

1.............2................ NO! What does Kobashi have to do to pick up the win?!

He has a few more ideas. Flair is still down on the mat. Kobashi signals for the moonsault press! Flair moves! Kobashi is out cold on the mat. His knees just collided with the mat. Flair recovers and sees Kobashi is out. He goes over to Kobashi and executes the jacknife pin.

1.........2......... not enough!

He drags Kobashi to the corner. He ties up his leg and delivers the figure four leg lock upside down on the turnbuckle post! KOBASHI IS SCREAMING! His legs are no longer a factor here. Flair lets go at 4. He drags Kobashi back into the center of the ring and LOCKS IN THE FIGURE FOUR! Kobashi has nowhere to go. He tries to power out of it and chop at Flair's chest. But Flair is leaning back and Kobashi can't reach him! Kobashi tries to turn the figure four leglock over. But he can't! Flair turns him back onto his back. Kobashi could be tapping out soon. The crowd is chanting "KO-BASHI! KO-BASHI! KO-BASHI!" He's starting to feel a little adrenaline kick in. HE COMPLETELY BREAKS THE HOLD USING HIS UPPER BODY STRENGTH! Flair's eyes are like a silver dollar. Kobashi pushes Flair into the corner. Machine gun chops! He hits 80 chops in the corner. Flair can't feel his chest anymore. Kobashi then delivers a rolling kesagiri chop to Flair's face! He gets him into a suplex. BBBBRAAAAAINBUUUUSTEEEERRRR!!! KOBASHI COVERS!

1................2....................... FLAIR KICKS OUT!

Kobashi looks around at the crowd and points to everyone, then points to the ground. He picks Flair up in Reverse Death Valley Driver position. BUUUUUUUUUUUURNIIIIIIIIIIING HAAAAAAAMMEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRR!!! KOBASHI COOOOOOOVEEEEEEERS!

1....................................2...............................3! The crowd is going crazy. They begin streamers in the ring as "Grand Sword" hits! KOBASHI WINS!!!

Kobashi stands up with his fist raised high!! As medical staff runs out for Flair.. As Flair is wheeled off, Kensuke Offices walk out, excluding Tyger and Jillian, and celebrates with Kobashi.. Soon after, Tyger and Jillian walk out and climb into the ring.. Tyger looks everyone, and shakes all of their hands.. He stares Kensuke in the eye, and turns to Kobashi, and bows to him.. The Offices start the leave the ring, to leave Kobashi to celebrate by himself.. With everyone but Tyger and Jillian out, Tyger charges and collides with Kobashi, hitting him with a lariat!!!

Jillian laughs, as Tyger spits in Kobashi’s face.. As everyone runs back in, Tyger and Jillian run off and through the crowd, as the crowd erupts in boos, as one of the own spits in the face of Kenta Kobashi!! Tyger and Jillian laugh, before they run off, as Chris and Nakajima chase them across the field.. Kensuke helps Kobashi up, as both look down in shame..

Adams: I’m speechless….. I am absolutely speechless…

JR: You know what, this is bullcrap!! How can this son of a bitch call himself a man when he turns around and spits in the face of someone he shouldn’t even be in the ring with!?!?

Adam: Clam down JR…

JR: I am not gonna calm down!! How the hell should this bastard be going around hitting absolute legends?! This is absolute bullshi-….

Adams: Jim… JIM comes ba-…. Well, folks… I don’t know… I just don’t know what to say… What has gotten into Tyger?!?!? I…. I don’t know…. Goodnight everybody…..




The lights go down… Silence falls… The building empties.. The fire burns out..
