At this past Sunday's No Way Out PPV, the new WWE Champion made history when he won the title in the Smackdown Elimination Chamber Match. He has now held the WWE Title more times than any other superstar in company history, with No Way Out being his 8th win. Trailing behind him is The Rock, who has held it 7 times.

Ok first of all congrats to Triple H for holding the title more than anyone else in the company's history, but I know for a fact he has beat the Undertaker before. It was in 2002 right after Summerslam Triple H pinned the Undertaker with help from Brock Lesnar, then Brock said he wouldnt wrestle HHH because he was going to wrestle exclusively for Smackdown where Undertaker followed him to that brand to challenge for the title while HHH was rewarded the World Heavyweight Championship.

Don't bash Liam for that... he obviously didn't write that piece of dialect. He's not smart enough to construct it that well.

Yes it was by pinfall. I remember Brock distracted him and Triple H hit the pedigree to win.

And HHH pinned Undertaker in 2002 at the England PPV, I think it was Insurrection or something

Edge made history, too.
The RAW Elimination Chamber was the first time the World Heavyweight Championship has changed hands in the month of February.

Great stuff. Honestly history making isn't becoming that hard to do in the fed sadly. Just think about when records began. Someone must of thought "Is anybody writing this down?" Someone then chimed in dramatically "I WILL DO IT!!! Records... have begun." Logically speaking, that day must've been a pretty record-breaking day. So technically, the record breaking going on at this point in time is nothing compared to then.
