Alright, so as of last night's RAW it was made rather clear that Stephanie has been talking with Triple H on the phone and that WWE is going to reveal that they are together. Personally, I like this for the fact that it's stupid to pretend they're not, but I really hope WWE does this right.
The way I see it, Triple H should come out and say that some people may know already, a lot of the boys in the back do, that he and Stephanie are together. They agreed not to bring it up as it's their personal lives and they didn't feel it was necessary to. Also Triple H didn't want people questioning his degenerate style. But the fact is that he loves Stephanie very much and she is the mother of his children. And blah blah blah. Have JR and Tazz admit that they knew and it's something they just don't talk about. That's how I think it should go down.
Now, I have this bad image in my head of WWE trying to do a "he's shooting here folks!" angle, which really isn't necessary. You don't need to break kayfabe for this angle, you're just informing the fans something that they're not aware of. Mostly, I swear to god if on Friday I hear JR and Tazz going "I can't believe this, Stephanie and Triple H are together?!" I will throw a brick through my TV. This angle should be about smartening those who don't know, not dumbing it down for those who do.

Why do they have to act like like no one knew? How many "casual" fans, if there are really any left, don't know they're married?

Triple H isn't the kind of guy who would say anything like that; and if he did, it would come across really bad, I think. Not as bad as his angry, crying, hulking up from Raw, but still weird.

I'm confused, where Triple H and Stephanie ever officially divorced ( kayfabe )? They've BEEN married, haven't they?
EDIT: Oh yeah, the pedigree in the wedding dress. Still though, why else would Triple H come out last night? I hope they make it known, without it being emotional or anything. This doesn't need to be a mushy soap opera any more than it already is.
Just have JR and Tazz ( or Lawler and Cole ) just comment about it... like: "Last week, Randy Orton snapped and not only punted Shane McMahon in the head... but delivered an RKO to RAW General Manager and Shane's sister, Stephanie. Stephanie's husband, Triple H then stormed the ring in a rage of emotions... blah blah blah."

This looks like it will have the best buildup in quite some time. I like both Orton and HHH. This makes you hate Orton even more. Edge is nowhere near the heel Orton is currently. Everyone is making fun of HHH's facial expressions, but I liked it cause The Game was showing emotion and he NEVER shows emotion. Orton's face was just as good not saying it but you can tell thinking it oh crapwaht did I just awaken?

I don't think JR and Tazz will try to act surprised; I have a feeling it'll go down similar to how you have explained. Or at least I hope so as well.

I think they will shoot it. Just because Orton gave that speech saying since she has had Vince's grandchildren she has become useless. HHH has to say he is the father and is married to her .

as much as a shoot/kayfabe angle is kinda cool it opens the door which means WWE will overdo it to the point that any non realistic storyline will suck from now on. I mean One minute they want us to believe that weakass half kick Randy Orton does actually puts people in the hospital for weeks the next minute they want us to believe Triple H is married to Stephanie after all this time of him torturing Vince and never acknowledging it.
It's opening a door that leads to no good for the future of WWE.

I've always seen this as one of those unwritten truths of wrestling. I feel like the casual fans know it too.
By the reaction last night, it seemed to be that everyone was already well aware.

I agree that I'd expect over 60% of WWE fans to know it, but there are still a good number who don't, you'd be suprised. It's just like the Kevin Nash vs. Triple H feud in 2003 where it was assumed the crowd knew Nash and HHH were friends backstage but the angle was a bomb. And frankly, it needs some explaining. I just hope WWE does it right.

Does nobody remeber when Steph had the first baby in summer 06 and HBK was like wheres HHH?, and the crowd laughed and got it. Im sure they realize most fans are aware of this.

Are you guys serious? There isn't going to be any "angle". It's obvious that they're together and anyone who doesn't know they're together is ignorant.
