Every possible main event has been done because WWE blew their load on stuff too early. It was either Triple H/Edge & Cena/Orton or Triple H/Orton & Cena/Edge. My only problem is the No Mercy match between Triple H/Orton and the TLC between Cena/Edge will be hard to top. HBK/Taker and the MITB will sell the show for me.

Why is going with what works such a bad thing? HHH/Orton put on decent matches, Cena/Edge can be great and HBK/Taker is a guaranteed show-stealer. That's not mentioning how much those contests will draw.
I personally think Edge should invoke his rematch clause against HHH to take his belt and unify the two, though.

Edge needs to beat Cena cleanly. And as for Orton/HHH match there may be a stipulation to make it more intresting possibly another Last Man Standing, 3 Stages of Hell, or even Hell in a Cell. But most likely it will be Orton with Legacy in his corner vs. Triple H wiht Stephanie and Shane in his corner.

Cena vs. Edge never has disappointed in the past. I'm all for it. It was my favorite feud of all time, so I want to see it again.

I love your idea for the fatal-four-way but you can tell they are going different directions with each championship.

Edge vs Cena was always good back in 06, it shouldn't disappoint at WM.

Then again there's the possibility both those matches happen, and the MITB winner cashes in that same night to send everyone home happy.

What's bad is that the Wrestlemania title matches should be fresh between two guys that haven't faced each other many times like Jericho/Taker or Edge/HHH. HHH/Orton and Edge/Cena has been so overdone already and to now do that in the main event of Wrestlemania is ridculous. There is no interest in either match for me.

Ok, my simplest response to this:
Yes, both Edge/Cena and Orton/Triple H have happened numerous times... but so has Michaels/Taker, but nobody bitches about this. The reason all 3 of these matches are going to be so big is simple... they've never faced each other ( 1-on-1 ) at WrestleMania.
Deny it all you want, but all 3 of those matches are going to get buyrates. Especially Michaels/Taker.

I don't really care because like I said all of those matches have been done so nothing is fresh but HBK/Taker is the perfect WrestleMania storyline if there ever was one.

Oh, I agree completely. Cena/Edge hasn't been done since early-mid 2007, though. So, just about 2 years... also with Cena and Edge ( especially ) being completely different wrestlers.
Triple H/Orton has THE BEST storyline in the WWE right now backing this match up. It'll be more than about the championship, which is what WrestleMania needs.

trips/orton will be damn good, and already has a great build...cena/edge has happened 34983497 times, PPVs and RAWs and shit...that would really boggle my mind if they made that match for whats supposed to be such a huge event...i really wonder the direction they're gunna go

Why do a lot of people still think that they are unifying the world titles?
It is way better with two titles because more people can be champ.
I don't like the likely wm 25 matches but I would rather have them then one title unification match.

Why don't people realize that Edge and Cena being done so many times before is what will make it special. Everyone knows Cena/Edge is the Roc/Austin of the new millenium. And theyve never face at WrestleMania. Thats what will make it big.

Do people honestly think the WWE is going to put Edge/Cena and Orton/HHH as the main events of Mania? Both of thse matches have happened SO MANY times before. I twould be the worst two main events in the history of Mania and I think WWE is smart enough to put fresh main events on the card at Wrestlemania, or at least I hope. I think it's leading towards Edge vs Cena vs Orton vs HHH for the Undisputed belt, but who knows, all I know is that I am sick of these two feuds. See Wrestlemania 15, 17, 19 (19 to a lesser extent but still) Rock v. Austin.

Will be Randy Orton V Triple H, an Edge V John Cena, with the two winners meeting for the Undisputed Championship.
