As an oldschoool and WWE Jakks collector, I'm inclined to suspect that most people will be like me, and potentially steer clear of 'yet another line-up' of WWE figures we've already got.
He's a contest idea I'd LOVE to see Mattel do - which would create MORE figure interest, and likely be quite lucrative for the company.
If you're like me - you've probably dreamed of having your own custom figure - featuring you!
What if Mattel sponsored a North American contest (considering a overseas contest in the future), where by sending in via mail or e-mail 5 "proof of purchases" in order to be eligible to win a:
Make me a WWE Superstar Contest!
The winner would get flown into the Mattel headquarters, scanned using real-scan technology, and have their own figure created. Loose or MIB, as per your choice!
This would certainly appeal to me, and would likely have mass appeal too.
What do folks think? Good idea?
