Now, it's not very believable for Team 3D to be in a main event PPV match at this point, nor is it believable to think that Bubba or Devon are capable of winning either the X Division or World championships. So at this point, the main event is very one sided, and seemingly undrawable, but think about this...
Both the X Division and World titles have been / are being defended since the announcement of this match, so it wouldn't be too unbelievable for the tag titles to be defended. But what is a believable duo who could at this point win the tag titles, and also be viable contendors for the World and X Division titles?
Why not Christian Cage and AJ Styles?
These two men have been stablemates for a few months now, so seeing them as tag team champions wouldn't be too big of a stretch. AJ Styles has been X Division champion more times than even he can count, so putting him in a match contended with the X title on the line is easy to see, not to mention both of these men have held the NWA title on numerous occassions between them. So I'm thinking, at the next Impact taping, AJ Styles and Christian Cage win the tag team titles from Team 3D, and then Match of Champions sees TNA champion Kurt Angle and X Division champion Samoa Joe facing TNA Tag Team champions Christian Cage and AJ Styles with all three titles on the line.
