Look at it this way though, When E&C face Hardys in TLC matches, which during the attitude era were great and set standards for all TLC matches, when you see them in a basic tag match, is it exciting? Not really. We've seen Taker vs HBK in HIAC and a casket match, both matches IMO were better this their WM match. I respect your opinion, but in this day and age, you wont find a better match. If this match can't excite you maybe wrestling just isn't for you anymore. Just my opinion bra. Sure you will. Buy a Chikara dvd......you'll see tons of them.

WHy is "wrestlin not for him"? Because, he's not creaming over the match? No, but if nothing today satisfied him, than he should reconsider cause the wwe isn't going to be any better than this. If I found everything on mania this boring, I would just quit watching.

Doesnt mean "wrestling isnt for me" it just means in general, wrestling is a joke right now....and in which most people here will agree with me on most points. The ones here that think wrestling now is the "best ever", which you have your right to your own opinion, is in the minority. I would promise more people would prefer wrestling from the 80s, Attitude Era or "ruthless aggression" era before they would watch this stuff.

I had fun watching it. Punk winning MITB made me happy. Steamboat proved he can still go, Taker/ HBK was outstanding. It might not have been great, but I had some fun.

Just tryin to be positive. I mean look at it this way, Orton vs HHH had the build up that any generation fan could enjoy. Even as an old ass, I LOVED this build up, knowing good and well that both wrestlers really are average at best in the ring, but the build up had me hooked.....The match though, complete garbage. It was probably THE let down of the night, simply because you were going in hoping for something decent but expecting less and in the end you got even less then you expected Last year was 10 times as amazing as this years Mania. That shows to me that WWE can still put on a good show but this years show just seemed cluster ed. They might as well held it in the Hartford Civic Center

I would also like to say that anybody who didn't enjoy wrestlemania would have liked it a lot more if they were posting in this thread. I laughed hard all through the night. j-dav's comment on the .gif i posted of teddy long getting run over from SD vs. RAW 06 was incredible.

WWE had a chance to put someone new in the main event scene like MVP, Benjamin, or Christian but they give MITB to same guy who had it last year.

Usually, I can let the hype of "Oh, its Wrestlemania" carry me through the first day or so before I form a real opinion of the show but this year, no amount of hype could cover that this year's show was seriously mediocre. Undertaker and Shawn Michaels was an amazing match that everyone will remember forever, and rightfully so. Ricky Steamboat showed he's better than 1/4 of the WWE roster, and Money in the Bank was amazing but Cena-Big Show-Edge, while better than I imagined, still didn't seem Wrestlemania-worthy. As for the Triple H-Randy Orton match, WWE should feel embarassed for trotting that match out as the main event. I don't know who sat backstage, looked at the layouts of the matches, and decided it deserved the main event slot over Taker-Michaels. There was nothing that could even touch that match and trying to really hurt the last hour of the show. Austin out-popped Triple H and John Cena combined, which shouldn't be the case. I didn't HATE it like others but I didn't feel it had the same special feeling every other does once its over. And I'm one of those that LOVED the card going in.
On a side note, Rey Mysterio's Joker outfit was awesome.

But as evidented by the lackluster reactions to the same old main eventers like Orton, Triple H, Cena, Show, etc they need to be making as many new stars as they can and there's no reason to put Punk over again instead of another new guy. and MVP should have ing won it goddamnit.

Damn right. Punk winning annoyed the hell out of me. He doesnt need it, they need more main eventers which MITB is used to get. Punks been there done that, we want something FRESH.

I went down to a local sports pub to watch it since I could eat and watch the pay per view for less than the pay per view itself.
I felt it was one of the better Wrestlemania's from the last 10 years. I still have a soft spot for last year's since I was there but didn't feel like I had wasted my time at all. I laughed. I gasped. I yelled.
It was a lot of fun. Orton vs. Triple H sucked though. That was the only part of the night that really really disappointed me.
