WrestleMania wasn't as bad as people are making it out to be.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they spent 6 months building Orton up to bad mutha er status, and had Triple H completely DESTORY all of that in a matter of 3 moves (Punt, Sledgehammer, Pedigree). They could have easily had HHH lose via DQ, and had Vince come out to restart the match with NO DQ and tore the ing house down. But no.

People started leaving after HBK/Undertaker. That tells you that it was the match people wanted to see.
No one cared about HHH/Orton. People from behind my section were yelling, "WE WANT CAMERAS!" They popped more when the cameras were on them than on anything that happened in the match, it was hilarious.

Its incredible to me that while we all have pretty different opinions on the show as a whole, I've yet to find any one person who thought Triple H/Orton was anything other than absolutely horrible. That truly says something. That was THE match I wanted to see....and it was just a complete disaster. Im sure WWE will pull it off as some epic match, but it was really terrible. you thought the HBK/Taker match was predictable?! LMFAO OH shut up and never speak again you rank that match lower than hardy and MITB? LMFAO The match was very predictable. Everyone knew Taker was going to win. I knew HBK was kicking out of the chokeslam, Last Ride. The only part of the match that surprised me was him kicking out of the first Tombstone, I honestly thought that would have been an excellent way to end the match, instead their old asses laid around the ring like a car wreck for 10 mins before finally going home. It really seemed like HBK and Taker spent more time layin on their backs then Mickie James.

MITB was a damn good match, Kofi and Shelton were the stars of that match. I loved how the crowd booed when CM Punk got near the briefcase, they went nuts for Christian though. CM Punk is annoying. HBK and Undertaker was amazing, just a great match between two veterans. I thought Undertaker was dead on that dive though. Steamboat is the man, and good job Jericho for selling your ass off for Piper and Snuka even though they couldn't even move. Couldn't they have found anyone besides Snuka? He looks awful and couldn't do anything and really isn't that over with the crowd anymore. When Kelly Kelly and Melina lead the way and did that dirty dancing....jeez I wanted to do them both. Triple threat was disappointing, I thought it would be better. Main Event was baddddd. The match just really never picked up. It was doomed from the start when they both hit their finishers, really bad idea. And the ending was so basic, and HHH is annoying and nobody cares about him. He just doesn't have good matches anymore. Hardy's had a good match, some nice spots in there, and Matt's attire is badass. Overall I had fun though, pretty cluster event for it being Wrestlemania, but I watched it with friends and had alot of food so it was a fun night.

I found Wrestlemania to be boring it just never got going it was like on cruise control for the whole night. i was so dissapointed I was really looking forward to HBK v Taker Hardy v Hardy and HHH v Orton. Orton v HHH was brutal HBK v Taker was ok these 2 should have had a much better match Hardy v Hardy was ok Also I am so ing sick of the divas I love hot chicks as much as the next guy but what a waste of time.

WrestleMania wasn't as bad as people are making it out to be. Yeah, people on here just seem to like taking the firsst chance they get to complain at somthing. Sure the Main event sucked as did the Diva match. Other than that i thought it was a good event.

So glad I ordered. I don't even watch anymore. I mean, I still follow it in the sense that I'll read results, but I never actually pay attention. But I figured, it's Wrestlemania, I haven't missed one since I started watching 10 years ago. Really glad I decided to order it.
Punk winning was so boring. I was pulling for Christian but even if Benjamin or MVP pulled it off, that would have been fine. I won't say the result ruins the match, though. That was probably the best MITB match. Kofi and Benjamin were outstanding.
The main event.. Without even watching anymore, I was still pretty stoked about Orton/HHH. Which is funny because when it was pretty much revealed that that would be the main event, I thought it was pretty lame, but the hype was fantastic. The match itself could have been really good but they just slowed it down to an awful speed. I'd say for 10 out out of the 20-or so minutes the match was, they punched each other. Then they sort of walked around and looked at the crowd. It was horrendous. My prediction was that Orton would win and CM Punk would cash it in, which would be pretty sweet, even though I was upset with Punk winning MITB in the first place. Oh well.
Undertaker and HBK had me on the edge of my seat. Deep down I pretty much knew Taker was winning, which is what I wanted, but it still had me scared at some moments that HBK was going to win; out of anyone that could have ended the streak, the last person I want to see actually do it is HBK. Still, incredible match. There's 8 months left in the year and I think it's safe to say that it was the Match of the Year.
Yeah, good show though. Kept me entertained. Might try to actually follow wrestling again.

That truly says something. TBH, I wasn't really that fussed about the match - I was just waiting for it to end, to see if Orton got the win and then for Punk to cash in..

After watching WM, I felt like I was watching a different PPV. Most of the match's where pretty bad or didn't do anything to make me feel like I was watching there biggest PPV. Only the Hardy's and HBK/UT where really WM quality matches. MITB was pretty good but it should have been longer and Punk shouldn't have won. the 25 Woman BR was just a cluster . I couldn't tell who was who in it. Santino winning was just intellectually- disabled. Chris Jericho was a pretty bad match too. The legend's looked like crap(Except Ricky). Matt and Jeff's match was probably the best match on the card. Matt coming out in tight's was weird. Alot of good spot's happened also. Matt's ToF with the chair was awesome and I really didn't think he would win. JBL's and Rey's match was horrible and a waste of time. Being the first IC match in 7 years was awesome. Too bad it was a joke match. Really, 21 seconds? Also JBL's huge announcement was pretty stupid. It looked like he thought it up in 30 second's. Taker v.s. HBK was a really good match, but had a slow start. I thought Undertaker broke his neck doing the jump. I also thought HBK might have won a few times. Thr triple threat was pretty bad. It just seemed like it never picked up. And the finish was like somthing you'ed see on Raw or a lesser PPV. The main event was just boring. I thought I was watching Raw for a second. The finish was also bad. It looked like something you'ed see for a crappy Raw main event.

aside from the MITB The rest of the show had its ups and downs
Kid Rock sucks at life. That entire 25 minutes or so was a complete waste of time. Fortunately I was in my friend's bathroom taking a calzone dump which was more entertaining than what went on in and out of the ring through that whole segment....
The Jericho/Legends match was booked PERFECTLY. We've seen Piper & Snuka "come out of retirement" to wrestle plenty of times. This night was about Mr. Steamboat. It was so incredible to see him bust out the hiptoss, the flying chop and even catch the 2nd half of the "cat skinning" It was one of those wrestlemania moments I will never forget. Jericho did not look weak, and Steamboat got one more moment to shine.
Matt/Jeff was rushed, but good for what it was. I was surprised Matt got the win actually. Jeff's missed legdrop followed by the TOF on the chair was just brutal and a good way to end it. I just wanted a bit more. I like Matt's new attire too.
HBK/Undertaker is a match that will be remembered forever. Its amazing we actually almost saw 'Taker die for real this time. He is lucky he tucked his head at the last second or things would have gotten serious. That match was incredible. I was glued to the TV every second. All the near falls and teases, added to the awesome entrances and the crazy finish....it was pure and simply, a Classic.
The Triple Threat was actually about as good as I suspected. Cena's entrance was awesome, we all popped at my buddie's house when "Word Life" hit. I was a little pissed that Cena won...that belt has changed every month since Survivor Series. However I do think the match itself was (again) too rushed.
The Main Event was far from it. I honestly expected more from those guys. It was a borefest. The ending was so ridiculously bland and bad, that is what killed it for me. I would've bet my life Orton was taking the belt, after all the time they have spent building him up. I just don't get the booking of the match. ZERO interference, slow pace & a very very dull finish. HHH's entrance was cool though.
Overall I think most of the good matches were too short, and there was too much time wasted on other things. The National Anthem should be sung at the end of the pre-show and kid rock should disappear from the world. Yuck
There was enough good about it for me to say I enjoyed the show. The bad was just sooooo bad, its tough to rate it. I'm just glad I didn't drop $60.00 for it

I don't get all the hate for Punk winning Money in the Bank. Sure, they did it last year but if you seriously take into consideration who was in the match, realistically the only other threat was Christian. MVP just won the US Championship and, as per some unofficial rule in the WWE, if you look strong going into the pay-per-view, you're not winning. Unless you are 6'4'', have great hair, and are married into the McMahon family. But I digress. Anyway, Shelton isn't a promo guy so Vince will never have faith in him to actually elevate him. Kane and Henry were out from the get-go. Ditto Finlay. That leaves Christian, Punk, and Kofi. Kofi obviously isn't ready and won't be for another year. Christian was the odds on favorite but you have to remember all of the 'Vince Hates Christian' posts from before Wrestlemania. If they're true, why then would the boss pencil in Christian for such a high-profile win on the biggest show of the year. It had to be Punk by default. Not that he doesn't deserve it. Hell, after the way the 'E' butchered his title run last year, they owe it to him to start fresh and give him a real, sustained run. Would it have been nice to see MVP or Shelton win? Yeah. But Punk made the most sense and after the last year, and the sizeable fan support and push he's received, he more than deserves it. Basically sums it up.. I pretty much said the same in another thread.. If they weren't prepared to give it to Christian, it had to be Punk.. The haters will just have to like it, or lump it, I'm afraid..

At first, I was somewhat upset that Punk won it again. But as I rewatched the match, its not so much that I didn't want him to win. I just thought he won it in a really anti-climatic way. The entire time he was unhooking it, I was just thinking to myself "OK....who's going to stop him..." And nothing happened.

I'll admit, I always feel peeved that Punk doesn't do more in the match - but again that's not down to Punk.. He basically just takes a load of punishment, without getting in a lot of offense himself... and then still has the will to win.. I suppose they're going for the resiliency factor - he takes a licking and keeps on ticking... which is not unlike the character of HBK..
