How long were the weekly PPV's between 2002-2004?
What was the best year for the weekly PPV's and why?
In general what were the length and quality of matches like?
Did they not show (cut to the crowd) certain things for e.g. people being put through tables or was this kind of stuff shown?
Thanks alot to anyone who can help with any of my questions.

1. They were 2 hours.
2. This is a hard one. The X Division was at it's best in 2002 but the rest of the shows were not very good. Overall I like 2004 the best. I felt the shows overall were best then.
3. Good length for the most part and much longer than what we see on iMPACT!
4. They showed everything.
I really miss the weekly days overall. Sometimes on a Wed. night when there is nothing to do I will pop one in and watch it seeing as I own 99% of them all.

Was 2003 like 2002, ie not very good shows besides the X division?

I own all of them, and I can say that January through September of 03 was very solid and a lot of fun. One thing that I always liked were the video packages at the beginning of the shows that Jeremy Borash put together. Things started to fall apart in quality shortly after Raven had his head shaved. AJ's reign would end, Dusty Rhodes got too involved in a lot of stuff, and the Raven/Mitchell feud got hurt by the lack of Douglas being involved in my opinion (he went on in search of "The New Franchise.")

I think the poster is talking about the fact that TNA is supposed to be debuting a new show sometime this year called TNA Epix and it will feature matches from the weekly ppv days

they really tried to give the best of their product in a night, because they wanted you to come back and purchase it the next week.
by far my favourite era of tna.

Yeah the fact that TNA was able to maintain a following willing to pay 10 bucks every week was outstanding... you got 4 shows for the price of 1 WWE Pay Per View and it was outstanding. I loved TNA back then. Then they bring in Johnny Fairplay and ran shows on FSN thus effectively removing themselves from Canadian viewing less you have a satellite.
