Ugh, Suicide won the X-Division Championship? Way to already end Shelley's push to push a character from a video game... thats in the $19.82 bin for PS3 at WalMart.
Also, the only saving grace of Styles as Legends Champion, is if he ends the title ASAP. And don't even get me started on Joe...

My audio was jacked up most of the night. Everything was out of sync. Kinda took me out of the show tbh. Mine was to. So was mine for the SECOND PPV IN A ROW! TNA really needs to fire that junior college A/V club asap, and hire real professionals. Not only was the audio out of sync but the video kept getting messed up in the first few minutes of the show. Like when they were talking to Jarrett and Foley, then suddenly you see the beginning of Brutus Magnus' video. Or just before that where the frozen beginning of the replay of the Woman's tag team match and Tenay throws it to the back, clearly unaware that they were gonna recap the match. Jeez man they make WCW production crew look like Einstein. As for the show, pretty much one big yawn fest. The ODB segment was good.......for a free tv segment, not for ppv time. I love the Knockouts division, clearly the tops in the biz, but do they really need 2 matches and and in ring segment? that says something about the rest of your product if you are geared toward wrestling fans, and you are not purely a Woman's wrestling company. Brutus Magnus is a waste of time, and should not be taking precious ppv time away from better, far deserving guys on the roster. Let him build up on Spike tv, see if he's worth it, then put him on the ppv's. AJ/Booker........meh, ok but predictable. Give AJ a real title, not something even the MEM doesn't give a crap about, except for Booker. Team 3d/Beer Money was good, and I didn't mind the little swerve at the end where we all thought that Team 3d would get the titles after the restart. Ultimate X match was great, but hey has anyone seen a bad one? I think they should, and hopefully will, make this a storyline in which it brings more attention to Suicide, and eventually revels that it is Christopher Daniels. (Hope I didn't spoil that for anyone ) Samoa Joe/Steiner.......seriously? They did that to Joe? I hope to god this is all management's idea and not them letting Joe come up with this idea. I do have respect for Joe, but I mean.......seriously? And how do they explain Steiner, when he shows up at Impact, either this week or whenever and is perfectly fine? The funny thing is my roommate is not at all a fan, but from time to time will sit and watch, and thought Joe was the most out of shape athletic guy she had ever seen, then she saw him with the face paint that look like a penis, and she laughed her ass off. Enough said. Sting/Angle.......ugggg, this could have been soooo much better. I don't even know where to begin, so I'm not even gonna try. BTW Morgan/Abyss wasn't overlooked it just was what it was, and should never happen again. Let Abyss squash a bunch of guys like Brutus Mangus, Shark Boy, and whoever else they want to feed him. Same goes for Morgan.

Oh... so that's why the crowd was behind him. I didn't see the show, but 900 people cheering for him doesn't mean that he is an interesting, believeable main event player anymore. He was a legit main eventer a couple of years ago. Now he just went from being a whiney, sloppy guy to someone who is acting like a savage on an island. Steiner has been much better lately than Joe, which doesn't exactly say good things for Joe. why because he had a boring look. he's the same guy but with a meaner attitide, a storyline behind it, and the character development to support it. i'll tke this over the fat guy in biker shorts anyday and he's nothing liek Umaga character sie except for the tats and the heritage. you mite as well say the rock is Umaga too.

I guess i base the stars on more than just the match itself...like the story it's telling, how compelling it is, the back and forth, etc..Thats what entertainmet is about so thats how i rated them.
One thing im noticing is that some people, and not just here, dont quite understand charcter development. People want an angle they can hook there cahracter onto. ESPn wouldnt say two words about Terrel Owens if he wasnt compelling with his antics, good, or bad. People are too quick to disregard a charcter change I think. But look, this is the way tna is...the wrestling is good, but lets be honest we want someone we can follow...It's been that way with wrestling for years. But i guess to each his own. would I have followed hogan if he wasnt immortal, or would he be as big if not for the characterr? Probably not. But that's what i like...so i guess to each his own That said I dont understand the problem with Joe's gimmick. Everyone wants these indy wrestlers to stay vanilla...how's CM punk doin with that( Oh Lord, here it comes)

Samoa Joe already had a character. It was Samoa Joe. Now he is a samoan savage. So stereotypical. The comparisons to Umaga are fair. The Rock never acted like a wild savage and he never painted his face with samoan tribal symbols. His merchandise sells out the gazoo. He has won the ECW Title, World Title, MITB, finals of KOTR, tag titles and IC Titles since he has appeared in the E in 2006. AND......Punk is MORE vanilla than he ever was on the indies. I wanted Punk to stay with his indy persona. Do you really believe that people will want to buy bloody machetes from tnashop.com?

I was there, and me and my friends were very bored with the first half of the show, up until AJ/Booker. That match was ok, but when AJ came up and celebrated in the crowd, right in front of me I might add, we were going nuts. Ultimate X was great, and that was a great match to experience live. The tag title match was fun for the sole fact me and my friends were marking for beer money, and were doing the Beer........MONEY chant the entire time, the chant we basically created. The main event was good, would have liked to see a foley or a jarrett heel turn, but sting as champ is fine. Probably came off better live, but the last 4 matches ruled

No one here marked for the "Botchamania 71 = this match" sign in the opener. My friend and I made it. It got confiscated after we held it up sporadically for three minutes. Ironically the three matches that followed all had at least one botch in it while the opener had no botches.

It is kind of lame when you have to point out the fact that you thought you were being clever.

People were talking about it on Maffew's page, the fight network, and PWI.

Simple, deskjet... GOOD BOOKING:
- When you finally give the X-Division title to Shelley, whose deserved it for a LONG time... don't have him drop it to some gimmick to help promote a video game. Not only that, but a gimmick that won't exist at the end of 2009.
- How many DQ and countout finishes are we going to see for this "Off The Wagon" Challenge? It'd be a little more tolerable if we didn't see the DQ finish for the LAX/Beer Money match a few weeks ago on iMPACT! Terrible ending.
- Why was Abyss/Morgan even on the card. Morgan sucks JUST as much as his did in the WWE and making him their Batista... yeah, not making it better. Not to mention, Abyss' character has already gotten stale. We've see this all from Abyss, think of something different.
- Why must they kill Samoa Joe?
... thats what I look for in a show. Good wrestling, creative/good booking and excitement.

Good wrestling, creative/good booking and excitement. - Triple S I agree. the abyss/Morgan storyline has been done. Morgan needed to be a front man a long time ago. The tag match was good, the ending was hit or miss with the restart, but at least it wa restarted and sets up a long term feud. Which is something TNA develops well, with the exception of some feuds playing out forever. I thought the wrestling in UX and booker/Aj was pretty good. I really dont see whats wrong with Joes gimmick...i mean, is that not excitng?, Is that not creative? he's not randomly going after people, it has a purpose, and more than likely will build him towards another run at the World title. Let's face it, this is TNA's way of building Joe back up cuz they killed it about a year or two ago. smart move i'd say. Once he's eliminated the MEM, he wins the gold, retruns to Joe but has that mean/violent side to him that people can be aware of. I just dont see the problem with it. I think they need to move on now to Nash or whomever. Granted TNA should take alot of heat for their lame brain booking over the past few months but I thnk after that fiasco of an empty arena match, they've been righting the ship. Storyline wise, we have 2 new champs. Yes shelley should have had the title. fact is, he got it and defended it pretty well, and I see nothing wrong with trying to market suicide...thats just a business move. I mean i've viewed the board, other websites, youtube, and its like my interests conflict with others, makes no sense to me, i dont know...what would you guys do with the Joe gimmick that is relevent to the soryline?
