THE MCMAHON-HELMSLEY ERA It was a night to remember on November 29/19, 1999 as Test was set to marry Stephanie McMahon, the daughter of WWF Owner Vince McMahon. Earlier in the night Triple H stated that there will be no wedding which prompted Vince McMahon to announce that if anybody interefered in the wedding who is not under contract or a family member, they will be fired! Later on in the night, the groom Test defeated rival Triple H in a match where someone wearing a Vince McMahon mask acted as referee. Finally, it was time for the wedding. Everything was going on without a hitch, when just as Test and Stephanie were to about to say "I Do" the ceremony was interrupted by The Game himself. Triple H revealed that earlier that weekend, he took a passed out Stephanie McMahon to a drive-thru wedding chapel and that they are legally married and Triple H is part of the McMahon family. The show ends with a distraught Stephanie, an irate Vince McMahon, and a smirking Triple H. Three nights later on SmackDown, the new "wife" of Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, told her father Vince and brother Shane to let her do things her own way. They grudgingly accepted her pleas. On the next edition of RAW, Stephanie asked Triple H to sign annullment papers; however, Triple H laid down a challenge -- if Vince McMahon can beat Triple H at Armageddon, he will sign the papers to end the wedding, but if Triple H wins he will get a shot at the WWF Championship. Vince McMahon accepted the stupulations. On the December 9 episode of SmackDown, Vince and Triple H signed the new documentation for their match in three days at Armageddon. Because of the temporary order of protection, Shane McMahon brought the contract for both men to sign. Triple H then assaulted his brother-in-law sending him off the stage through a table, breaking Shane in half. Finally, the time has come. December 12, 1999. It's time for Armageddon. Triple H vs. Vince McMahon. If Vince McMahon wins, Triple H's marriage to Vince's daughter Stephanie will be annulled. But if Triple H wins, he will receive a shot at the WWF Championship. The match was nothing short of brutal. Each man was out for blood and there was lots of it. In the end Triple H came out on top with a Pedigree. After the match, to the shock of everyone, Stephanie McMahon aligned herself with Triple H. The next night on RAW, Stephanie explained that her father loved to make things personal (The Black Wedding) so she got revenge on him by marrying Triple H. In fury, Vince McMahon left the building with his son Shane, leaving Triple H and Stephanie in charge. Not wasting time, they changed things immediately -- changed The Rock N Sock Connection versus The Dudley Boyz into a No Disqualifications match, booked The Mean Street Posse against The Acolytes, put Kane in a triple threat match against The New Age Outlaws, forced Tori to compete in a Chocolate Pudding Match against Women's Champion The Kat, had The Big Show face both Big Boss Man and Prince Albert in a Handicap match, and for the Tag Team Titles had The Outlaws defend against Test and Triple H, in which Test was destroyed by the entire DeGeneration X. As we head into this week's edition of SmackDown, what will this unholy couple have in store for the World Wrestling Federation?

December 16, 1999 Florida State University, Talahassee, Florida
====================
The show starts off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley conducting a meeting with the entire WWF roster. They said that Vince and Shane are not here tonight, so they are in charge once again. They announced the main event for the evening - The Big Show defending the WWF Championship against Kane.
After the opening video and a fireworks display, SmackDown! was on the air. Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho made his way to the ring and issued an open challenge to anyone in the back that wants a shot at his title. The challenge is soon accepted by an unlikely candidate, that being Gangrel.
INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Chris Jericho © vs. Gangrel This was a surprisingly good match. Gangrel really brought his A-game in this one to show everyone - especially the people in charge - that he deserves to be in the title hunt. It even appeared that Gangrel would pull out the major upset when he went for the Impaler DDT, but Jericho countered that with a northern lights suplex for a close two count. Both of these gave it everything they had to put on an outstanding match. In the end Jericho retained the championship after a running bulldog followed by the Lionsault. After the match, Chyna and The Kat stood at the oval-tron; Chyna applauded Jericho for his win.
Backstage Stephanie and Triple H are talking; Stephanie says that her former fiance Test will be in a Handicap match against The Big Boss Man and Prince Albert and that match will be next.
HANDICAP MATCH Test vs. The Big Boss Man and Prince Albert Test gave it all in this match of unconceivable odds. The Boss Man and Albert acted as a tag team in this match which gave Test somewhat of an even play field. Soon enough, the numbers caught up to him and The Boss Man and Albert turned things to their advantage. Boss Man and Albert gained the victory after a double powerbomb. After the match Boss Man handcuffs Test to the top rope and nails him repeatedly with the nightstick as Stephanie and Triple H look on from the entrance way with smiles on their faces.
A Royal Rumble hype video airs. The Royal Rumble will take place on January 23, live from Maidson Square Garden.
The undefeated Kurt Angle made his way to the ring for his upcoming match against Edge. Angle said that he will win the Royal Rumble and go on to face the WWF Champion, whomever that may be, at WrestleMania. It's true, it's true!
Kurt Angle vs. Edge This was another spectacular match with some of the finest young talents that the WWF has to offer. These two put it all on the line with great techical, high flying, and fast paced action. As Edge went for a spear Angle leaped over him and nailed the Olympic Slam to keep his winning streak intact.
Backstage the Mean Street Posse enter the locker room of Stephanie and Triple H. They tell them that they will do whatever they to get on good terms with the power couple. Triple H thinks a bit before informing them that if they want to be on their good side, they'll have to earn that. And to do that, they will face The Rock N Sock Connection in a Handicap match later that night.
EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP Val Venis © vs. Steve Blackman Kind of mediocre match, the crowd wasn't in to it too much, though the ladies in attendance popped big for Venis as usual. Blackman put on some good offense but it just wasn't enough. Venis finished off the opposition with a spinning out powerbomb followed by the Money Shot.
Viscera vs. D'lo Brown Before this match began as D'lo came to the ring the lights were replaced with an eerie orange glow and a strange symbol appeared on the oval tron; after a few seconds the scene returned to normal, leaving everyone confused as to what just happened.
Another match that didn't excite the fans all that much. The Godfather and a number of his ladies accompained D'lo to the ring but even they couldn't help D'lo against this monster. Viscera picked up the win after a huge leg drop. After the match Godfather and a couple of hos check on D'lo when Vis attacks The Godfather. The Godfather fights back when out of nowhere he is blindsided by Mideon. Mideon dropped Godfather with the Eye Opener before doing the same to D'lo. Big Vis then gave both men a double five-hundred pound splash.
Backstage once again the DX locker room, X-Pac is talking to Triple H and Stephanie. X-Pac says that he's hungry for some gold, and Stephanie informs him that he's in luck as just recently the Light-Heavyweight Championship has been vacated and there will be an eight man tournament to crown a new champion and X-Pac will be in the tournament. Just then the Hollys enter the room; Hardcore Holly says that nobody cares about the Light-Heavyweights and that he and his cousin Crash are the Superheavyweights and the most dominate team in the WWF. Triple H gives them the opportunity to prove this as they will face The Acolytes.
HANDICAP MATCH The Rock N Sock Connection vs. The Mean Street Posse This was a total squash match. The Posse tried to stand toe to toe with Rock and Manind but didn't stand a chance. Mankind took down Joey Abs with Mr. Socko while The Rock nailed two Rock Bottoms on Rodney and Pete Gas. The Rock N Sock finished this match with dual People's Elbows pinning all three men at the same time. After the match, the Outlaws ambushed The Rock and Mankind, but they wouldn't go down without a fight. Soon enough X-Pac came down with a steel chair and whacked Mankind across the skull before doing the same to The Rock. X-Pac delivers the X-Factor to Mankind on the chair as the Outlaws give Rock a spiked piledriver. The degenerates give the DX Chop over the fallen bodies of The Rock and Mankind.
Backstage Triple H and Stephanie are watching what just happened and they couldn't look happier. Stephanie asks Triple H what he thinks is going to happen in the main event; Triple H replies that Big Show and Kane will hopefully destroy. Triple H then remembers something that he forgot to mention earlier - the WWF Championship match will be a Lumberjack match where the Lumberjacks will be chosen by Triple H and Stephanie. Meanwhile elsewhere, Kane along with Tori is preparing for the upcoming title match.
SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH The Hardy Boyz (w/ Terri) and Christian vs. The Dudley Boyz and Al Snow This was a very good action packed match. The Hardyz and Christian kept things in their favor with their high flying moves while The Dudleyz and Snow tried to keep them grounded. The Dudleyz hit the 3D on Jeff Hardy while Al Snow was fighting Christian. Terri jumped onto the ring apron to cause a distraction which proved to be a mistake. Bubba Ray grabbed her by the hair and pulled her into the ring. The Dudleyz were looking to hit the 3D on Terri but luckily Matt Hardy pulled her out of the ring just in time. A few moments later Christian nailed the Unprettier on Snow to get the win. After the match The Hardyz console Terri as they head to the back with Christian; in the ring Bubba Ray shouts that he and D-Von are going to get Terri.
TAG TEAM MATCH The Acolytes vs. The Holly Cousins The Acolytes dominated this match. The fighting cousins put up a good fight but it just wasn't enough. Bradshaw hit the Clothesline From Hell on Hardcore as Faarooq nearly cripples Crash with the Dominator.
Backstage The Big Show is warming up for the main event. It's next!
After the entrances of Kane and Big Show, Triple H and Stephanie along with DX walk onto the stage. Triple H then calls the lumberjacks down to surround the ring -- Kurt Angle, Viscera, Mideon, Gangrel, Prince Albert, Big Boss Man, Al Snow, Dudley Boyz, and the Posse.
WWF CHAMPIONSHIP -- LUMBERJACK MATCH The Big Show © vs. Kane (w/ Tori) This was an intense match up. Even though they are both fan favorites, they discimated each other. Neither man were knocked to the outside, but a few of the lumberjacks did attempt to grab either of the wrestler's ankles when they walked too near the ropes. Kane pulled out everything in his arsenal, even the flying clothesline from the top rope, but he was caught by the clutches of the Big Show. Show lifted Kane up for the chokeslam and nailed it to get the win. After the match the lumberjacks spilled into the ring to go for the attack. They ganged up on the Big Show until Kane recovered and helped out Show. However, the numbers were too much, even for these two. DX entered the ring; the Outlaws pulled up Kane allowing X-Pac to hit the X-Factor as Triple H drilled Big Show with the Pedigree. SmackDown comes to a close with DX doing the crotch chop over the bodies of Big Show and Kane.
Quick Results Chris Jericho defeated Gangrel to retain the Intercontinental Championship The Big Boss Man and Prince Albert defeated Test Kurt Angle defeated Edge Val Venis defeated Steve Blackman to retain the European Championship Viscera defeated D'lo Brown The Rock N Sock Connection defeated The Mean Street Posse The Hardy Boyz and Christian defeated The Dudley Boyz and Al Snow The Acolytes defeated Crash and Hardcore Holly The Big Show defeated Kane to retain the WWF Championship in a Lumberjack match

-Good way to open the show and glad Jericho retained -Love that Test keeps getting put into these unfair matches, I was never a Test fan -Angle/Edge sounded all kinds of awesome -Venis over Blackman is meh -D'Lo/Vis wasn't needed I don't think -Rock N' Sock winning was obvious, and the post match DX attack was cool -Six man tag was kind of weird booking and was just thrown there it seems -Acolytes dominating was obvious -Was hoping Kane would surprise and win but Show retaining is ok until Triple H takes the gold from him
Good show, but far too many matches I think

Haha, I personally loved WWF in this particular time period, stuck in between the new RAW stage on December 6th edition of RAW is WAR and the new millenium. I believe Kane and Big Show fought for the WWF Championship in real life on the next RAW. Love the layout by the way. Chris Jericho beating Gangrel to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship is fine, pretty decent. I really do hope you push Test too, he was at the tip of his career, plus I was annoyed by Big Bossman and Prince Albert here. Fantastic match with Kurt Angle beating Edge, nothing you could do though, eh. Val Venus beating Steve Blackman for the WWF European Championship is fine, no complaints. Bad match between Viscera and D'Lo Brown. Interesting scenario however, Tazz debuting? Haha, Mean Street Posse fighting The Rock 'n' Sock Connection. Seemed realistic having The Hardy Boyz and Christian team against Dudley Boyz and Al Snow, pretty nice match there. The Acolytes beating The Hollys, no problem. Degeneration X standing tall over Big Show and Kane is fine, good main event. Big amount of matches, but realistic for that time.

=========================================
EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP Val Venis © vs. TAKA Michinoku (w/ Funaki) This was a pretty good opening match; Val Venis is a fighting champion. Throughout the match Funaki tried to help his partner until Val finally got him with a stiff knee to the gut; TAKA got in some good offense even going for the Michinoku Driver but Venis slipped out of it before hitting the fisherman's suplex to retain the championship.
A video recaps the happenings of the past week, centered around the formation of the McMahon-Helmsley Era.
The Headbangers vs. The Holly Cousins A decent tag team match here. Lots of double teams and tags were in this one. The Headbangers had Crash set up for the Stage Dive but Hardcore shoved Thrasher off the top rope before hitting Mosh with a dropkick allowing Crash to use a quick roll up to gain the victory.
A video hypes the Royal Rumble.
Prince Albert vs. Steve Blackman This was a pretty brutal match. Blackman used his martial arts background to keep Albert grounded, but eventually the big man powered his way to a win with the Baldo Bomb.
Al Snow cuts a promo backstage. Snow hypes himself, saying that he will put an end to the stupid Rock N Sock Connection in due time, but tonight he has other things to worry about.
Al Snow vs. The Godfather Before the match started Godfather offered Snow the services of his ladies; Snow responded by blasting Godfather in the face with HEAD. Snow had the advantage for a majority of the match due to that cheap shot, but Godfather fought back. Godfather went for the Ho Train splash but Snow dodged out the way before connecting with the Snow Plow to win.
Quick Results Val Venis defeated Taka Michinoku to retain the European Championship The Holly Cousins defeated The Headbangers Prince Albert defeated Steve Blackman Al Snow defeated The Godfather

December 20, 1999 Compaq Center, Houston, Texas==================== RAW started off much like how SmackDown! began one week ago - with Triple H and Stephanie, both wearing Santa has, addressing the entire roster. Triple H wishes the roster a very Merry DX-Mas and says that he and Stephanie are going to add Christmas cheer to the World Wrestling Federation. Stephanie says that she is going to give Triple H his Christmas present five days early - a shot at the WWF Championship, right here tonight. Triple H says that someone needs a little Holiday Cheer and that person is Kane. HHH knows that Kane wants nothing more than to wrestle X-Pac one-on-one and tonight he gets the opportunity; X-Pac is both shocked and angered. Triple H and Stephanie wish the roster a Merry Christmas before the opening video plays. After the video and a pyro display we get a look at the staging area: two giant Christmas trees on either side of the entrance way with a black star on each with DX spraypainted in green; strands of black and green holly and lights covering the titan tron; and giant pictures of Triple H and Stephanie on the screens that frame the titan tron. As the camera pans around we get a shot of a steel cage hanging some twenty feet above the ring. The Rock N Sock Connection then come to the ring for their tag team match against The Acolytes to kick off RAW. The Acolytes vs. The Rock N Sock ConnectionBefore this match started, Triple H announced that the match would be contested under tornado tag team rules and no disqualifications. In this contest, The Acolytes showed how brutal they can be and why they are the number one contenders, though The Rock and Mankind didn't show any signs of letting up. This brawl went all over the ringside area and even into the crowd before fighting up the entrance way when The Mean Street Posse ambushed all four men. However, they were quickly disposed of by The Rock and Bradshaw who threw Rodney and Pete Gas into the Christmas trees as Mankind shoved Mr. Socko down the gullet of Joey Abs. Moments later the match resumed in the ring where Mankind had Bradshaw set up for the double arm ddt when Al Snow blasted Mankind with HEAD. Faarooq smashed a chair into Snow before tossing him over the top rope. Faarooq then walked into a spinebuster from The Rock. The Rock went for the People's Elbow when Bradshaw took his head clean off with the Clothesline From Hell. Bradshaw covered The People's Champion to pick up the victory for The Acolytes which has got to be considered an upset. Backstage Triple H and Stephanie along with the rest DeGeneration X are watching the show. Triple H is smirking about the fact that The Rock and Mankind have lost their match. Light-Heavyweight Championship Tournament; First Round Match Matt Hardy (w/ Jeff Hardy) vs. Taka Michinoku (w/ Funaki)Just about two years ago Taka Michinoku won the Light-Heavyweight Championship in a tournament just like this. Taka looked strong in this match using some technical moves whereas Matt Hardy used his agility and this was just a good match overall. The end came when Taka went for the Michinoku Driver but Matt slipped behind Taka and drilled him with a reverse ddt to get the win and advance to the semi-finals. Backstage we see the Mean Street Posse still hurting after getting beaten by The Rock N Sock and The Acolytes. Kurt Angle approaches them, saying that he's been watching them for the past few weeks. Angle says that they need someone to help them get that winning edge, someone with Olympic gold. Mideon and Viscera vs. The Godfather and D'lo BrownThis was a decent match at best. Mideon hadn't been seen on RAW or SmackDown in the past couple of months so it was a shocker when he rejoined Viscera in attacking Brown and Godfather last Thursday night. D'lo and Godfather worked well as a team as did Vis and Mideon though they did seem to show a bit of ring rust. Godfather and D'lo tried to keep Viscera from getting involved in the match and even the hos on the outside kept the big man distracted. Eventually The Godfather caught Mideon with the Ho Train and tagged in D'lo. The referee became distracted trying to get The Godfather to leave the ring as he watched D'lo go to the top for the Low Down when all of a sudden Gangrel ran down to ringside and spat blood into D'lo eyes causing him to fall to the canvas below. Viscera came in to take Godfather down as Mideon hit the Eye Opener on D'lo to get the win. After the match, Gangrel celebrated with Viscera and Mideon. Mideon looked kind of confused as to why Gangrel helped them out; Viscera looked indifferent. D'lo and the hos assisted Godfather in the ring. Backstage Triple H and Stephanie are talking. Stephanie tells Triple H that she has a surprise for Test who is scheduled to wrestle next against the Big Boss Man. Triple H asks her what it is, but she tells him he has to wait like everybody else. A promo airs for the Royal Rumble which will take place on January 23. After the promo Test is standing in the ring when The Boss Man makes his way to the ring holding the Hardcore Championship. Before Boss Man can enter the ring, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley walks onto the stage. Stephanie says that the match between Test and Boss Man for the Hardcore Championship will be contested inside a 15 foot tall steel cage! Stephanie wishes Test a Merry Christmas and blows him a kiss, infuriating him. WWF Hardcore Championship; Steel Cage Match Big Boss Man © vs. TestTest was still hurting from the beating he took at the hands of the Boss Man and Prince Albert on SmackDown but he didn't let that hold him down. Test didn't even care that this was for the Hardcore Title - he just wanted to make the Boss Man suffer. Boss Man got a shot in on Test's hurt ribs before drilling him in the face with the nightstick. Prince Albert entered the cage with his piercing and tattoo kit and put a padlock around the door to prevent it from being opened. The Boss Man handcuffed Test to the middle rope as Albert opened the kit, pulling out a clamp and long needle. Boss Man puts the clamp on Test's bottom lip as it looks as if Albert is going to pierce his lip when suddenly The Big Show runs to the ring and rips the cage door right off the hinges. Big Show gives Boss Man and Albert no mercy as he throws them both into the cage walls. Boss Man and Albert quickly scramble out of the ring and up the ramp as this match has been declared a no contest. After the cage has been lifted above the ring and Big Show and Test have left to the back, the lights go out as Kane comes to the ring for his match against X-Pac. Kane does his usual pyro from the ring posts as X-Pac's music plays, but the person that comes out isn't X-Pac, rather it's Stevie Richards dressed as the degenerate. Kane (w/ Tori) vs. Stevie Richards (dressed as X-Pac)Total squash match. Richards did a few crotch chops before hitting Kane with a spin kick that didn't affect the Big Red Machine at all. Kane grabbed Richards by the throat and drilled him with a thunderous one hand chokeslam to get the pinfall; and once again, Kane has been duped by DeGeneration X. In the back DX is laughing at Kane; X-Pac even makes fun of his former friend, calling him the "big red intellectually- disabled person." Tag Team Match Jeff Hardy (w/ Matt Hardy and Terri) and Bubba Ray Dudley (w/ D-Von Dudley) vs. Edge (w/ Christian) and Hardcore Holly (w/ Crash Holly)As The Dudleyz were coming to the ring the arena suddenly turned orange and the strange symbol appeared on the titan tron much like what happened on SmackDown. The Dudleyz look confused as they continue to the ring. This was an interesting match set up by Mr. and Mrs. Game that forced enemies to team up together. The Hardyz and The Dudleyz have had their problems as of late so it came as no surprise that Jeff and Bubba Ray couldn't co-exist. Edge and Hardcore Holly seemed to be on the same page though Hardcore acted as if he were the leader of the team; at one point in the match Hardcore told Edge to look and see how it's done and Hardcore walked right into a rollup from Jeff Hardy for a close two count. Edge began to laugh at his partner which pissed off Holly who then slapped Edge. Edge and Hardcore began to fight each other as Jeff and Bubba watched on. Crash Holly tried to help Hardcore only to be stopped by Matt Hardy who also started fighting. Soon enough all four tag teams were brawling and the referee has lost all control of the match. The Hardyz and Edge and Christian stood together as The Dudleyz and The Hollys backed up the rampway. A promo airs declaring that new week's edition of RAW will feature a special return of the Slammy Awards showcasing all the best moments of 1999. Categories will be posted later in the week on WWF.com. In the back we once again see DX watching the show when Tori comes in. She confronts Stephanie about humiliating her and Kane every week; Stephanie puts Tori in a match for later tonight against The Kat in which each woman would have to wear skimpy Santa outfits. Tori walks away angered as Stephanie smirks. Non-Title Match Chris Jericho (Intercontinental Champion) vs. Kurt AngleBefore the match started Kurt Angle got on the microphone and talked about what Christmas means to him and the Angle family as the fans began to boo him. Angle is interrupted by the Intercontinental Champion who finally tells Angle to shut the hell up! Angle says Jericho has a potty mouth and he's going to slap the taste out of it. This was a great wrestling match when it was all said and done. Angle and Jericho put it all out there; and showed that they will be major stars one day. Jericho kept on the offense through the whole match as Angle tried to keep him down with his Olympic style of wrestling. Angle eventually went for the Olympic Slam however Jericho slipped out of it. Jericho pushed Angle off before scoring with a bulldog followed by the Lionsault. Jericho set Angle up for the Walls of Jericho and locked it in. It looked as if Angle was going to submit which would be his first loss in his WWF career when out of nowhere The Mean Street Posse attacks Chris Jericho. They put the boots to Jericho as Angle recovers and nails the Olympic Slam. Rodney and Joey Abs hold Angle's hands up as the fans boo them. While this is going on, Chyna and The Kat were watching backstage on a television monitor. The New Age Outlaws come out to the ring. They say that they're in a giving mood and offer any tag team on the roster a shot at the Tag Team Titles. The challenge is accepted by the young and popular team of Too Cool. Tag Team Championships The New Age Outlaws © vs. Too Cool (w/ Rikishi)This was a good match as far as tag matches go. Before the match started Road Dogg and Mr. Ass made fun of Rikishi. The big man responded with a side kick to Gunn as Too Cool went after Road Dogg. The match went a good ten minutes and Too Cool were on fire. After getting out of the pumphandle slam, Scotty took Road Dogg down with a double handed bulldog before delivering The Worm. Scotty went for the cover but Billy Gunn broke it up. Grandmaster Sexay and Road Dogg came in and brawl erupted. Road Dogg and Sexay fought to the outside as Gunn hit the Fameasser on Scotty 2 Hotty to retain the gold. Backstage Triple H announces that the WWF Championship match between he and The Big Show will be no disqualifications. Women's Championship; Santa's Little Helper match The Kat © vs. ToriThis was nothing but T&A for the fans and was made to humiliate Kane and Tori. Seeing that neither woman can wrestle that great, there was lots of hair pulling and slapping. The Kat got the win with a roll up after X-Pac came down to distract Tori. After the match X-Pac taunted Tori until Kane came down to chase off X-Pac. We see Big Show preparing for his upcoming title defense. WWF Championship; No Disqualifications The Big Show © vs. Triple HThe Big Show ruled the beginning part of the match with his amazing strength and size. However, Triple H turned things to his favor after a low blow followed by the high knee. Triple H went to the outside before bringing the sledge hammer into the ring. The Game waited for Show to get to his feet before charging at the champion with the hammer raised high. Amazingly, The Big Show was able to somehow catch Triple H by the throat and delivered a thunderous chokeslam. Just as it looked like The Big Show might retain the championship the calvary arrived in the form of DeGeneration X. X-Pac and The Outlaws ganged up on the Show while Stephanie casually walked to ringside with a big smirk on her face. The Outlaws held Show up which allowed Triple H to hit the Pedigree. Triple H went for the cover as DX counted along with the ref - One! Two! Thr-- No! Big Show kicked out! DX are shocked as Triple H is pissed. The Outlaws hold Show in place as Triple H picks up the sledge hammer. Just as Triple H is about to knock Show's lights out the crowd erupts as The Rock, Mankind, and Kane storm the ring. Kane goes right after X-Pac as The Rock and Mankind fight off the Outlaws. The fight spills to the outside when The Boss Man and Prince Albert come down to help DX; however, The Acolytes then come down to fight off Boss Man and Albert. Meanwhile in the ring, The Big Show is back up before The Game blasts him with the sledge hammer. Triple H sets Big Show up for the Pedigree when out of nowhere comes Test with a big boot to Helmsley! Test pulls Triple H up and nails him with the pump handle slam while on the outside Stephanie looks shocked. The Big Show takes advantage and drives Triple H to the canvas with another chokeslam as the referee counts the three. The Big Show celebrates with the WWF Championship as Test heads up the ramp with a smile on his face knowing that he cost Triple H the one thing he wants the most. The groggy Triple H looks at Test with a fury in his eyes as RAW comes to an end. ==================== Quick ResultsThe Acolytes defeated The Rock N Sock Connection Matt Hardy defeated Taka Michinoku Mideon and Viscera defeated Godfather and D'lo Brown Big Boss Man and Test fought to a no contest Kane defeated Stevie Richards (dressed as X-Pac) Jeff Hardy and Bubba Ray Dudley fought Edge and Hardcore Holly to a no contest Chris Jericho defeated Kurt Angle by disqualification The New Age Outlaws defeated Too Cool to retain the Tag Team Championship The Kat defeated Tori to retain the Women's Championship The Big Show defeated Triple H to retain the WWF Championship

Good opening promo there with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, I saw this some time ago on YouTube, it was a good RAW is WAR dominated by screwjob matches made ny Degeneration-X. I hate that The Acolytes defeated The Rock 'n' Sock Connection, but I guess Al Snow's interference is fine, like Test, Snow was at the tip of his career I think at this point. Eurgh, I really wish TAKA Michinoku would of gotten closer to the WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship, if you put the title on some midcarder like Matt Hardy or X-Pac etc, it'll be hard to find a replacement champ. Hope Essa Rios appears in this tournament. I think Gangrel was teaming with Viscera during this brief time. Anyways, Mideon beating D'Lo Brown damages D'Lo if you ask me. Repush him and break him away from Godfather please. Ah, there's Gangrel, haha. I hope you don't bury Test, here you had him job out to Big Bossman and had to get Big Show to save him, pushtime please. Nice usage of the steel-cage however. Haha, Kane beating Stevie Richards as X-Pac. Interesting mixmatch, since Edge and Christian & The Hardy Boyz were friends here. Slammy Awards returning eh? Awesome non-title match between Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho, I sense an Angle push. New Age Outlaws retaining the WWF Tag Team Championships from Too Cool is fine, hopefully Rikishi Phatu gets a good push. Eurgh, Santa's Little Helper match. I myself preferred the 'Over The Top-Tops off' match Hardcore Holly and Val Venis had here, myself. Sweet main event, Big Show retaining the WWF Championship thanks to Test is awesome, maybe Test vs Triple H at Royal Rumble? That'd rock.

Opening match sounded crazy. Not sure about Bradshaw pinning Rock but we'll see. Fine to have Hardy pick up the win. Wonder what would come out of Angle and the MSP. Like Stephanie blowing Test a kiss there, nice touch. Good cage match there. Like Richards dressing up as X-Pac. Liked the idea of having those tag teams being forced to team up with each other. Like the Angle stuff, assuming he won after the Olympic Slam since you never said. Like X-Pac costing Tori the match there. Show winning was good. The one thing I would overall suggest is to put who won the match after it happened. Overall really enjoyable show, extremely realistic with how it played out with Steph/HHH controlling things.

Acolytes vs Rock and sock seemed pretty hectic. I was rooting for TAKA in the light heavyweight tourny, but now that he's gone, Matt Hardy is my pick. Kurt Angle and Mean Streat Posse would be badass as a faction, no joke. I hope you do it. Test almost getting pierced was crazy, Big Show saving them was a relieve, lol. Richards as X-Pac was funny to imagine, lol. X-Pac and Kane's fued is cool. Angle seemed like it was awesome, they have had some good matches. Test interupting is awesome, give him the title, please!

SMACKDOWN December 23, 1999 Reunion Arena; Dallas, Texas
After the opening video and a pyro display SmackDown immediately kicks things off with tag team action.
Four Corners Tag Team Match The Dudley Boyz vs. Edge and Christian vs. The Hady Boyz vs. The Hollys This match came as a result of what happened on RAW. In this match one person from each team were in the ring, so it was basically a fatal four way match; because of this there was an extra referee on the outside. There was no shortage of action in this one - frequent tags were made and each man got their opportunity to showcase their talents; it was an overall incredible and innovative match. There was high flying action presented by The Hardyz and Edge and Christian, while The Dudleyz and Holls prefered to beat the living hell out of anyone who crossed their path. In the end it was Edge who scored the pinfall over Matt Hardy following the Downward Spiral. Winners: Edge and Christian
After the match, Edge and Christian shake hands with The Hardyz, giving respect.
DeGeneration X make their way to the ring; Triple H was not in a good mood. HHH said since Test and The Big Show appear to be such great buddies all of a sudden they can team up tonight - against The Boss Man, Prince Albert, Gangrel, Mideon, and Viscera; a five on two handicap match! But that's not all. Since Too Cool stuck their noses in DX's business, they will face The Rock N Sock Connection; as for their buddy Rikishi, he will go against the "best tag team today" The New Age Outlaws. Triple H finishes things by saying if you get in DX's business you will get your ass kicked; and if you don't like it, we just got two words for ya.
Light-Heavyweight Championship Tournament; First Round Match X-Pac vs. Essa Rios This was a fast paced match-up. In the beginning X-Pac didn't take things seriously, thinking this would be a walk in the park. However, Essa Rios showed the degenerate what he was capable of. Things started off with X-Pac taking cheap slaps at Essa along with a few crotch chops. The two finally locked up and Essa took Pac down. Essa continued to outwrestle X-Pac and even hit a few high risk moves such as a moonsault from the top. The end came when X-Pac and Essa were battling on the top rope; X-Pac pushed Essa off the top sending him to the mat. As Essa got to his feet X-Pac came diving off the ropes with the X-Factor! X-Pac covered Essa for the one, two, three. Winner: X-Pac
A segment airs showing Mark Henry and Mae Young celebrating the holidays.
A GTV promo airs, showing The Headbangers up to no good. Mosh and Thrasher are making fun of Taka Michinoku and Funaki, who take offense to their comments. Before long a fight breaks out between the two tag teams; other wrestlers try to seperate the four men.
European Championship Val Venis © vs. The Godfather vs. Steve Blackman These three guys put on one hell of a match here. There were lots of near falls as each man looked to bring home the championship. Val Venis appeared to be on a sort of mean streak as he was relentless against The Godfather. Venis almost had Godfather pinned with a fisherman suplex but was broken from a karate kick by Blackman. Venis and Blackman went at for a while as D'lo Brown came down to ringside to support The Godfather. Blackman used many martial arts kicks on Venis, even taking down Godfather with a leaping kick to the chest. Venis nailed Blackman with a spinning out powerbomb before going to the top for the Money Shot, however D'lo grabbed Val's foot, causing him to lose balance. Blackman went up and delivered a superplex to Venis. Godfather gets to his feet and trades blows with Blackman. Blackman goes for a kick but Godfather ducks under it and hits the Pimp Drop to get the win. Winner and NEW European Champion: The Godfather
After the match, Godfather and D'lo celebrate with the hos as a disappointed Steve Blackman heads up the ramp. Val Venis stays around ringside, and he doesn't look happy.
Backstage we see DX in their locker room when Kurt Angle and The Mean Street Posse enter. Angle tells Triple H and Stephanie that he and The Posse are on their way to greatness in the WWF. Stephanie looks at Kurt with a bit of a twinkle in her eyes as Triple H tells them to prove it, as tonight they will face The Acolytes and Chris Jericho.
The New Age Outlaws (Tag Team Champions) vs. Rikishi Phatu Even though he was outnumbered, Rikishi wouldn't be put down that easily. The Outlaws weren't required to make tags, so they had even more of an advantage. The Outlaws spent most of the match trying to get the big man grounded but Rikishi just kept battling back. Soon The Outlaws got the advantage when Road Dogg delivered a low blow when the referee wasn't looking. Road Dogg held Rikishi in place allowing Mr. Ass to nail the Fame Asser; both Outlaws covered Rikishi at the same time to get the victory. Winners: The New Age Outlaws
An advert airs for the Royal Rumble which will take place January 23, 2000 live from Madison Square Garden.
In the DX locker room Triple H and Stephanie are discussing about what to do to Kane and Tori when Al Snow walks in. Snow pleads Triple H to let him have a shot against Kane. Triple H laughs but Snow is serious. HHH tells Snow he's got the match, but there will be a special stipulation.
The Rock N Sock Connection vs. Too Cool This was a pretty good tag match. Too Cool is starting to get over great with the fans. Before the match started Mankind shook hands with both men, however The Rock laid into both men with punches, showing them no respect. The Rock spent most of the match laying the smackdown on the rookies; meanwhile, Mankind took things easy with them, but he wasn't a slouch at all. Too Cool put on some good defense, but it just wasn't enough. Toward the end of the match Scotty took Mankind down with a bulldog before going for the Worm, but The Rock drilled him with a spinebuster. The Rock then went for The People's Elbow, while mocking Scotty; however, Grandmaster Sexay surprised Rock with a quick roll up but Rock kicked out. Rock and Sexay went at it until Rock nailed The Rock Bottom to pick up the victory. Winners: The Rock N Sock Connection
After the match Mankind assists Scotty in helping Grandmaster to his feet. The Rock exits the ring and Mankind goes to follow, but Scotty holds him back and pulls out a pair of shades, placing them over Mankind's eyes. Too Cool's theme begins to play as Sexay, Scotty, and Mankind start to dance in the ring while The Rock just shakes his head at ringside.
Somewhere in the back we see Gangrel, Mideon, and Viscera standing around a barrel with flames leaping out the top of it.
Elsewhere backstage The Godfather and D'lo Brown are still celebrating with the hos, Godfather with the European Championship over his shoulder. Out of nowhere Val Venis rushes Godfather, spearing him into the wall. Venis goes crazy on Godfather with a flury punches until D'lo attacks Venis. D'lo and Val go at it as officials and referees try to break up the fight.
The British Bulldog vs. Stevie Richards (dressed as Davey Boy Smith) This was a squash match; big surprise, eh? This time Stevie was dressed up as Davey Boy Smith, complete with braided hair and United Kingdom tights. The Bulldog, however, wasn't amused. Bulldog destroyed Richards in a matter of seconds; after delivering two running powerslams Bulldog made the cover. Winner: The British Bulldog
After the match, the Bulldog gets a mic and says that everyone in the locker room should beware the dog.
Backstage, Test and The Big Show are preparing for their match.
The Acolytes and Chris Jericho (Intercontinental Champion) vs. Kurt Angle and The Mean Street Posse Before the match began Kurt Angle grabbed the microphone and explained that he is still undefeated as Chris Jericho did not make him submit nor did he pin him on RAW. Angle tells us that he has been training The Posse and tonight everyone will what they are capable of when they defeat those two "drunken hillbillies" The Acolytes and that "long haired pervert" Chris Jericho. This match was all over the place. The Acolytes showed no respect for The Posse, although it does look like they've had some training. Jericho and Angle were in the match the most, with the occassional Posse member coming in to break up a pin fall. At the end The Acolytes and Posse were brawling on the outside leaving Jericho and Angle one on one. Jericho and Angle went at it for a good bit; Jericho went for the Walls of Jericho but Angle rolled out of it. Angle went for the Olympic Slam and nailed it. As Angle went for the pin, Chyna and The Kat came to ringside. Chyna went into the ring and decked Angle right in front of the referee causing a blatant disqualification. Winners (by disqualification): Kurt Angle and The Mean Street Posse
After the match Angle yells at Chyna but she nails him again, and then a third time. Angle had enough and went to attack her, but Jericho got Angle from behind with a dropkick knocking him to the outside. Jericho deamnds why Chyna cost him the match but she and Kat head to the back.
Kane along with Tori come to the ring for Kane's match against Al Snow. As both men are ready for the match to start Triple H appears at the entrance way along with Stephanie, Chyna, and a disgruntled Kat. Triple H demands for Kat to go to the ring or she will be on the bad side of DX and she wouldn't want that. Reluctantly, Kat walks to the ring while Chyna argues with Triple H. The Outlaws come out to pull Chyna away from the Game; in fury Chyna stalks away from Triple H and The Outlaws as Stephanie waves bye-bye. Triple H begins to talk saying that this match between Kane and Al Snow will be an "Over The Top, Off With The Top" match, meaning that when one of the two wrestlers are tossed over the top rope then their second would have to remove an article of clothing. The first woman to be topless would lose the match for her man. Finally, Triple H said that Kane would represent The Kat and Al Snow would represent Tori. Merry Christimas, Kane! Triple H laughs and does a crotch chop; DX will stoop to any low to humilate Kane and Tori. Kane tosses his head back before he drills Snow with a chokeslam!
Over The Top, Off With The Top Kane (representing The Kat) vs. Al Snow (representing Tori) Kane doesn't care about the match's stipulations - he just wants to make Al Snow feel as much pain as possible. Kane delivers another chokeslam to Snow, followed by a third! Kane leaves the ring and heads up the ramp as Tori follows, leaving the Kat confused at ringside. Triple H comes out and asks what Kane's doing. Triple H waves his hand in front of Kane as if talking to a slow person. Kane has had enough; he grabs Triple H by the throat and delivers a massive chokeslam on the steel ramp! Kane mounts Triple H drilling him with numerous rights as DX run down to save their leader. The Outlaws and X-Pac triple team the big red machine but Kane is fighting back. Tori pulls X-Pac away from Kane; X-Pac retaliates with a spin kick knocking Tori to the floor. Kane grabs Pac by the throat in a vice grip; The Outlaws pund away at the monster but he won't let go. Triple H comes back with a low blow on Kane. HHH and The Outlaws begin to triple team Kane as The Kat looks on not knowing what to do. The Acolytes rush to ringside to fight off DX. Bradshaw and Faarooq brawl with The Outlaws as Triple H and X-Pac keep Kane grounded. As the fight goes around ringside, The Kat frantically runs up the entrance ramp to the backstage area. Al Snow recovers and assits The Outlaws against The Acolytes. It's a huge brawl as these eight men are trying to tear each other apart. Test and The Big Show come to make the save but soon The Boss Man, Albert, Viscera, Mideon, and Gangrel come down to fight as well. Out of nowhere Stephanie McMahon announces that the main event is now!
The Big Show (WWF Champion) and Test vs. Big Boss Man (Hardcore Champion), Prince Albert, Gangrel, Mideon, and Viscera A referee comes to the ring but he has no idea of what to do as bodies are fighting everywhere - in the ring, outside the ring, and even in the crowd. DX fighting with The Acolytes and Kane as Test and Big Show fight Boss Man, Albert, Gangrel, Mideon, and Viscera. All seven men are in the ring, and it's just a giant brawl. Big Show chokeslams Gangrel and goes for the cover but Boss Man nails him with the baton. It's just a five on two assault as Viscera hits the big splash on Test; Vis goes for the cover, and Test just can't kick out. Winners: Big Boss Man, Prince Albert, Viscera, Mideon, and Gangrel
The brawl continues as the five men celebrate in the ring by continuing their beat down on Test and Big Show. All of a sudden the music of The Rock hits as The Rock and Mankind hit the ring. Soon after they're joined by Too Cool and Rikishi as the ring and surrounding area is just full of fighting people as SmackDown goes off the air in a chaotic fashion!
Quick Results Edge and Christian defeated The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, and The Hollys. X-Pac defeated Essa Rios. The Godfather defeated Val Venis and Steve Blackman to win the European Championship. The New Age Outlaws defeated Rikishi Phatu. The Rock N Sock Connection defeated Too Cool. The British Bulldog defeated Stevie Richards. Kurt Angle and The Mean Street Posse defeated The Acolytes and Chris Jericho by DQ. Kane versus Al Snow resulted in a no contest. Big Boss Man, Prince Albert, Viscera, Mideon, and Gangrel defeated Test and Big Show.

I like the opening contest, happy E&C went over. The Triple H segment wasn’t my cup of tea, but it is realistic. Good call with X-Pac winning. GTV! I miss that. Cool to see a title change on TV, although I feel Venis is a better champion than Godfather. If New Age Outlaws didn’t win that would have killed their heat, so good call having them go over. I like how Foley was going soft on them and Rock was just destroying them. I hope Bulldog gets pushed to the moon. The next match did not do to much for me. I like the aftermath of the Kane/Al Snow match. I can not say I am a huge fan of the main event, but I love the brawling that is taking place.

Glad E & C won, they were my favorite team. Heh, 5-on-2 match. X-Pac winning is fine, he's better than Rios. Euro title switch is fine but not sure what it really accomplishes. NAO winning made sense since it was a handicap match. And I like the tease between Stephanie/Angle already. Lol, I can picture Mankind dancing with Too Cool like that. Bulldog match was fine there. A little random for Chyna to do that, wonder what's up. Nice idea there with the tops, made sense to not actually go through with it. The team with more people on it winning was probably the right call. Very good show, entertaining and realistic.

SmackDown, December 23rd 1999...Alright, just wish you would make these shows more commonly, however, to be honest. Decent yet spontaneous opening contest to kick off the show, there could of been some good hype going into this match, if I speak perfectly honest. Edge and Christian winning is nice, any of those four teams could of won this, but you made the right call to be honest. Decent promo by Triple H of Degeneration X, I like the sound of that handicap main event to the show tonight, pretty realistic for this time period. Think that Essa Rios needed the win here, he didn't debut yet as Essa and could of used some sort of upset to get him over, if I speak truth. Plus, X-Pac is better than the Light-Heavyweight Championship. The Godfather winning the WWF European Championship is interesting, but I dislike it. Steve Blackman would of been a good champ to be honest. Rikishi Phatu was so over at this point. The New Age Outlaws beating him is fine. The Rock n Sock Connection beating Too Cool is laughable. Could of been a comedy match. British Bulldog beating his imposter, Stevie Richards is fine, could see that being entertaining, as well. Good six-man tag team match, Chris Jericho and the Acolytes winning is fine. Haha, classic WWF having a match offering T&A turning into chaos and cheating the horny viewers. Decent handicap main event, hmm, push for Big Bossman would be alright I suppose.

The Headbangers def. Kai En Tai This match came as a result of what happened last Thursday night on SmackDown. Mosh and Thrasher didn't take Taka and Funaki seriously in this match; but Taka and Funaki got their attention soon enough. The teams went at for a good seven minutes in which all four men got in some good moves. Taka went for the Michinoku Driver on Thrasher, but Mosh took Taka out with a chop block. The Headbangers delivered the Stage Dive to Funaki to get the win.
A promo airs for the Royal Rumble.
Essa Rios defeated Stevie Richards (Aguila) Essa Rios, formerly Aguila and Papi Chulo, made his return to WWF television this past week on SmackDown, though in a losing effort to X-Pac. Tonight, however, things were in his favor. Richards came out dressed as Essa's former gimmick, Aguila - complete with mask. These two put on a good light-heavyweight match which saw some decent high risk moves. In the end, Rios pulled out the victory after hitting a moonsault on Big Stevie Cool.
A hype video airs for The British Bulldog. The video ends with Bulldog saying that the WWF shall beware the dog.
Jonathan Coachman conducts an interview with Val Venis. Val challenges The Godfather to a rematch tomorrow night on RAW for the European Championship.
Val Venis versus Steve Blackman ended in a no contest. This match was a brutal, and not in a bad way. These two were out to destroy each other. Blackman used an array of martial arts to keep Val grounded, but Venis fought back. Val kept Blackman on guard with many chops and stiff punches. After hitting the spinning out powerbomb Val went to the top for the Money Shot, but The Godfather and D'lo Brown ran down. Godfather shoved Venis off the top as D'lo went in for the kill. D'lo and Godfather took it to Venis, when Blackman entered the fray with the kendo stick, swinging at D'lo and Godfather; Blackman took a great offense to those two for interfering in the match. Brown and Godfather retreated up the ramp as Blackman and Venis argued in the ring with a few referees between them to keep another fight from breaking out.
Quick Results The Headbangers defeated Kai En Tai. Essa Rios defeated Stevie Richards. Val Venis and Steve Blackman went to a no contest.
