I was wondering if anybody knew why Randy Savage barely wrestled between September 1990 & November 1991. I know he wrestled at WM7 in the career ending match, but he never wrestled at Survivor Series 90, Royal Rumble 91, and then for almost all over 1991, due to the career ending stipulation. Was he injured or what I find this rather odd?

He was suppose to wrestle at the Royal Rumble in '91. After he attacked Warrior costing him the title, Savage was the #16 entrant. He got half is foot out of the curtain and was "jerked" back in. (Warrior "attacked" him)

I understand that the storyline was supposed to be that the Warrior was chasing him but he still didn't wrestle hadly during the timeframe I mentioned I was jyst wondering if he had some sort of injury?

Well at the Royal Rumble 91 he was the reason that Slaughter won the title.

i'm pretty sure vince just didn't have much for his character left and preferred him in an announcing position. savage didn't like this and wanted to still be active, so he jumped ship.
