They call it the 25th anniversary because it would sound kind of stupid to do Wrestlemania 25 and then the next year Wrestlemania 26: The 25th Anniversary!

I mentioned that right after they started advertising it as such... I think they should have just stuck to calling it Wrestlemania 25 and it would have been a lot better.

WrestleMania 25 is 25th anniversary, I dont think they mean 25 YEARS anniversary. I haven't see "Years" in 25 anniversary yet, to be honest. If there's no "years" in, then that IS 25 anniversary. ;-) How hard would you figure it out?

What are you talking about? Based on a calender yeah it's the 24th yearly event, but it's the 25th time they have held it. WM 1 was the first, it's not like year zero when you're born. Yeah you are 0 years old when you are born it isn't til you're 1st birthday when you become 1. Think about it a 3 month old baby isn't called year and 3 months now is it? Works the same way for Wrestlemania.

I believe it is wrong and they should have said the 25th Annual Wrestlemania as they do with say the RR. But i guess in essence it doesnt matter, just adds more power to the punch so to speak.

It's the 25 edition of Wrestlemania & the 25th year of it's existence. When you have a Birthday, do you celebrate your past age? It's the 25th anniversary, get over it.
