I was watching WrestleMania VII the other day. And its sad to think that alot of the superstars on there are no longer with us. And that was only 18 years ago.
The Texas Tornado (February 3, 1960 – February 18, 1993) Dino Bravo (August 6, 1949 - March 11, 1993) The British Bulldog (November 28, 1962 – May 18, 2002) Crush (January 31, 1963–August 13, 2007) The Big Boss Man (May 2, 1963–September 22, 2004) Mr. Perfect (March 28, 1958 – February 10, 2003) Earthquake (June 22, 1963 – June 7, 2006) Road Warrior Hawk (September 12, 1957 – October 19, 2003) Hercules (May 7, 1956 - March 6, 2004) Andre The Giant (May 19, 1946–January 27, 1993) Gorilla Monsoon (June 4, 1937 - October 6, 1999) Miss Elizabeth (November 19, 1960 – May 1, 2003) Sensational Queen Sherri (February 8, 1958–June 15, 2007) Alfred Hayes (August 8, 1928 – July 21, 2005) Joey Marella (February 28, 1963 - July 4, 1994)

Note this Wrestlemania has the highest death count of any Wrestlemania before or since.

Note this Wrestlemania has the highest death count of any Wrestlemania before or since. That is a very interesting fact, but it scary at the same time. --------------- We have lost some amazing talents and almost every athlete on that list is an example of that.

It is ridiculous. But every wrestling site needs to fix the date of Dino's death. It was actually March 10, 1993.

In fairness, Alfred Hayes was about two hundred years old even at WrestleMania VII.

so tragically sad, RIP to all involved.
They are all missed as far as wrestlers can be, but the one that still chokes me up, Mr.Tenta. I will never forget the couple of convos we had on air.
Incredible man, such a shame he never got to completely destroy Japan again

...Very sad indeed, I must admit, I had no idea, but when you put them all together like that...
RIP to all.

It's terrible how many deaths there have been, but I believe WrestleMania VI has a slightly higher death rate than VII, if you include some of the celebrities and what-not.
Here's who appeared at WrestleMania VI that are no longer with us:
1. Gorilla Monsoon 2. Andre the Giant 3. Sensational Sherri 4. Sapphire 5. Miss Elizabeth 6. Referee Joey Marella 7. Mr. Perfect 8. "Ravishing" Rick Rude 9. Bad News Brown 10. The Big Boss Man 11. Hercules 12. Earthquake 13. Dino Bravo 14. Frankie (Koko B. Ware's mascot) 15. Damian (Jake "The Snake" Roberts' mascot) 16. Comedian Steve Allen 17. Singer Robert Goulet

I always thought Dino Bravo died in 1996. Never really got to see many of these, the the ones I did see were amazing.

^ Actually, it wasn't a python that bit Randy "Macho Man" Savage. It was a King Cobra, which had been de-venomized.
And yes, I know Jake used many pythons during his W.W.F. tenure and I'm sure the original Damian is long gone. Or at least, the one he used at WrestleMania VI is for sure.
And why shouldn't Damian or Frankie be compared to real wrestlers?? I mean, you take them away from either Koko or Jake and what do you have?? Not a whole hell of a lot.
Without Frankie or Damian, there's no way Jake or Koko would've gotten over as much as they did. That is for sure. Jake wouldn't have his trademark nickname and Koko wouldn't be called "The Birdman".
So, in my opinion, the loss of Frankie and Damian are just as important as the loss of a human. They are the same. One isn't greater than the other.
