The year 2010, It's been nearly three seasons since Favre has stepped foot on Lambeau field and two seasons since Rodgers has become the Leader of the Packers. Last year they had a successful season going 14-2 and making it to the Superbowl but ultimately losing to the New England Patriots 24-17 in overtime. But that is behind them and the Packers are looking for a ring this season and hope to duplicate their regular season results this season. This year at the 2010 draft the Falcons were given the first overall pick and they picked up Defensive Tackle Demarcus Granger who had dominated in college and looks to have a very bright future here in the NFL. 6'2'' and 310 pounds.2008 Season HistoryGreenbay Packers went 9-7 in the season to make it to the Wildcard to then defeat the 11-6 Redskins 25-3. They moved onto their divisional Championship game where they lost to the 16-1 Dallas Cowboys 29-3 who ultimately made it to the Superbowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers and lost 34-24. 2009 Season HistoryThe Broncos were given first round pick but the Packers gave them Al Harris to get the first round. They also gave up Charles Woodson and a few other second stringers to get the second and third round pick. With that they picked up another WR Brian Robiskie who eventually won the NFC WR of the year and played in the Pro Bowl. He surpassed 1006 Rec yards with nine touchdowns. They then picked up LOLB Brian Cushing who had a solid season with 34 tackles, two interceptions, and 2 sacks. Finally they picked up a Cornerback to fill in the big hole that they had lost and acquired Malcom Jenkins who performed amazingly becoming the Defensive rookie of the year in the NFL with 4 interceptions, 59 tackles, 1 sack and one Defensive touchdown. The Packers went 14-2 and made it to the Superbowl where they lost to the Patriots 23-17 in Overtime after a fumbled punt that was returned for a touchdown and crushing the Packers.

Lambeau's New Look During the Off Season Lambeau field has gotten a facelift. They have purchased an A/C for their stadium, Laser Eye Surgery station as well as an Oxygen station to help with Injuries. In addition to this they had picked up a Rain Water Catcher and Solar Panels that will save them money in the long run. A new pimped out Audio System and a Jumbo TV for the crowd. Those were the big additions this season.

Drafts over- Who got who?The Packers didn't get a steal this year as they did last year sticking with their 32nd round pick. But the Falcons on the other hand picked up Demarcus Granger a DT from Oklahoma. He had dominated in college and if he does as good as he did in college. This kid will have a very bright future. The Bengals improved their run game with Powerhouse Keiland Williams. He has it all, The power and the great speed. The Seahawks picked up lightning fast Running back Chris Brown. He is fast and agile.

As the pre season begins there are a ton of big name players out there that teams could really use. The biggest name out there is Ex Colts quarterback Peyton Manning. The Colts had to let Manning go along with a few others as they desperately needed to clear up space. Manning is thirty four years old but still has tremendous skill and any team could benefit greatly from his arrival. There have been rumors around saying that the Texans, Bears, Bills, 49ers, Jets, Lions, and even the Packers have contacted him within the first 12 hours of his release.
Now the smartest move for Manning if he is looking for stats and where to win would easily be the Packers. Rodgers has come off a great season leading the league in touchdowns but he also was in 2nd for interceptions. But a team like the Bears could really use him as they don't have any star weapons in the receiver position. Manning could really make Earl Bennet, Devin Hester and Marty Booker look very good. One that surprised me the most was the Jets. They have Mathew Stafford. He finished his rookie season with a 81.2 QB rating. Although he made errors he can really improve and shine as he did in College. So it would surprise me if he went there.
Texans would be a good choice as Matt Schaub hasn't really shined as a franchise quarterback and with the recent release of Ahman Green they may want to step up there Pass game as they are going with Rookie running back Charles Scott as their starter and typically it's hard for a rookie to start. Especially at runningback as it is just so much harder to get those yards as it was easier in college.
Clinton Portis, Jason Elam, Travis Henry and Chris Naeole are easily starters that are looking for a team but age seems to be a factor for some of them. But Manning will have a tough decision to find out where he will be signing with.

Why let your best defensive players go in Woodson and Al Harris? Other than that I like it so far, and I am looking forward to the season.

Why let your best defensive players go in Woodson and Al Harris? Other than that I like it so far, and I am looking forward to the season. The reason why I did this is because they both were top 5 paid players on my team. They are old so I'm looking for younger playersand I was tracking them and there performances were slipping as they got slower. So not only did I get a better CB in return for the draft I also got to pick up a OLB and a great WR that is perfect in the slot and can start over Donald Driver for when he depletes.

Can you trade for him, then trade him to the Bucs? Well you gotta make these rosters with NCAA and then import to your game but with a PS3 you can get them off the net and put them onto a USB Stick and then transfer them onto your PS3. A luxury that PS3 has that I enjoy a lot. If you got a PS3 just POM me and I can send you the files. I got I think 4-6 years worth from 09-12 I think and I could trade him to the Bucs' as I control all the teams so teams draft players and sign players they actually need. But the Chiefs need them more than the Bucs' do. Next update soon too btw.

After last weeks performance by Aaron Rodgers and the other 31 teams passing on Peyton Manning then the Greenbay Packers have signed Ex-Colts QB Peyton Manning to a 5 year deal worth 73.02 million with a 16 million bonus. Manning will most likely be finishing his career as a Packer. With the signing of Manning has come to the release of Aaron Rodgers. "I was totally shocked when Mike told me the news, But I guess I just need to move on and work on the future and find a team." Says Aaron Rodgers. Funny enough the next day the Colts had called up Aaron Rodgers to come train with them for the week before their game against The Bengals. The decision will be made before the Bengals game Coach Dungy said in another report. Meaning if Rodgers signs Tim Rattay the current starting QB after Mannings release will most likely be cut short of the starting job.
In other news Clinton Portis has agreed to resign with the Washington Redskins after having to be cut due to the lack of cap room. But the Redskins made a couple of moves to squeeze him back into the team. "I'm very excited to get back on the field and play for the players, coaches and fans I am familiar with." Says Clinton Portis after being resigned for a 3 year deal worth 15.9 million and a 3.51 million bonus.

Signed Manning....? Really? He sat for a week nobody took him, I'm not passing on his talents. I gave teams a week to choose so they all had dibs before me.
