pretty good for a first. the head is decent, the kickpads look good. however, the shorts look kinda sloppy and rough. I'd suggest using sandpaper or acetone (found in most nail polish remover) to take the finish off what you want to paint so then you don't need to use so many coats of paint. I'd also try using tooth picks or something else really small to paint designs/details.

after i started painting i knew i screwed up and should have sanded first. thanks man. i like the toothpick tip also +1

i use toothpicks as well. anyway, this really looks nothing like kid. wrong skin tone and really cant tell from that pic if there is a little piece of hair or a crop cut. Good try though. I woulda used maven

not bad. other than the chunky looking paint which i guess ur gonna fix it looks good. i havent had the chance to see tyson kid yet but he looks close to the pics ive seen

It's a good attempt. Customizing in the begining is hit and miss, but keep trying and learning. I think you did well, I posted the first Tyson Kidd custom on the board, which I think is either on page 2 or 3 of the custom pages. It takes time, but pace yourself and try to let things run smoothly when it comes to painting and just taking time with making the figure. You'll get the hang of it and someday you will be able to really excell..

The painting on the shorts looks really bad. And that head choice doesn't work for Tyson imo.

The head is ok, but ra22 angle head works well.
The boots are nice, but the shorts need to be cleaned up a bit.
For your first this is pretty good.
