I dunno, even though Christian isn't pushed as much in WWE as he was in TNA, he still makes more money in WWE I'm sure.
Cornette is probably right about how less people will want to make the jump to WWE after seeing Christian, though.

Maybe some will not want to, but some will still want to, seeing as you'll get more money.

Yeah, I posted this awhile back but it's cool. I agree with Cornette - he's not being bitter he's just telling the truth. He's right on the money.

Doesn't ecw get about the same if not better ratings than tna?
"I don't care if he couldn't stick his finger in his ass in three tries."
I think that was the quote.
Funny.
He does have some points but I wouldn't call the wwe a blackhole.
I would kinda say that tna is a blackhole..

Kinda like if Cornette calls you an idiot I would be willing to bet money you were an idiot. In other words - Cornette knows what he's talking about.

Cornette seems like the biggest a**hole ever. He never seems to enjoy anything.

Cornette doesn't want to work for Vince - he's made that QUITE clear. He's enjoying his time in TNA aswell - also if you think Cornette doesn't have a great mind for wrestling you're crazy. Also, to say Cornette doesn't enjoy anything is kinda pushing it. Cornette's a vocal person and says what he feels (obviously) - and mainly he's right on the money. Just because he doesn't eat crap and like the taste of it - doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy anything.

While I respect Cornette and the years he has put into the business, he's off on too many points. While ECW is far from being WWE's highest rated show, it still consistently does better than TNA's weekly show or anything else on Sci-Fi for that matter. Second, Christian has hardly been buried. If making a surprise return and going over the brand's champion more than once cleanly, having a strong showing against said champion in an actual championship match, and being put into one of Wrestlemania's traditionally high profile matches is considered a burial then sign me up and I'll bring my own shovel and dirt. Lastly, he's way off about putting Christian with Edge upon his return. For starters, Edge and Christian had stopped tagging for years prior to Christian leaving for TNA. The only tag match they were involved in before Christian leaving, the WWE did not even acknowledge their relationship as brothers anymore and Edge beat him down after the match. Also, Edge is on a completely different level than Christian at this stage in his career. Personally, I think it's better to try to get Christian over on his own rather than have him trying to syphon heat from Edge, not to mention that Edge is already involved in his own angle and there is really no room to insert Christian in it.

I'd love to know what his candid opinion is on TNA (it shouldn't be a pretty analysis), he got the Christian return spot on.
The WWE got something, they knew would create buzz among big fans, then threw it away, (adding on) then stumbled on great chemistry between Swagger & Christian, ignoring it and looking like they're boosting Christian, a month later, to where he could have walked straight into in the first place, I believe he'll win MITB(eventually leading him to Cena & Edge), but still greatly prefer Benjamin as he needs to win or he'll get lost.

He was fired by Vince so maybe he is a little bitter. I loved Cornette as a manager, But when you get fired you do tend to be an ass to the people that fired you.

And yet ECW gets better ratings than TNA and more people care about ECW, than they ever will about Impact.. If anywhere's a blackhole it's TNA - not WWE... and, of course he's bitter towards the WWE and Vince - they fired him.. I do like Cornette, and I'd rather he was with WWE - but he's way off here.. The Edge and Christian stuff is long over with... there's no harm in giving him a fresh start, as his own man.. It didn't make any sense to randomly insert Christian into the Edge/Hardy angle to begin with..

"A five year old blind kid with autism could figure out what they were going to do."-Jim Cornette
That is the greatest quote of 2009. I'm still laughing at that.

I loved Cornette as a manager, but honestly, I care more about his opinion on tennis rackets than I do his opinion on the WWE.

He sounds like an idiot. "I dont care what they do on ECW, neither does anybody else".
Actually ECW has more viewers than TNA does duh.
So when he says stupid crap like that, its just makes TNA looks bad. Its like saying "Look at WWE, they suck, but we still cant do HALF as well as them, so what does that say about us??"
TNA just always comes off looking very stupid when they or one of their people bad mouth WWE. They try and make it look like WWE isnt competition and that WWE isn't any good, when WWE beats their asses on everything. Ratings, PPV buyrates, merchandise sales, etc.
I mean they DOMINATE them.

You're not making a fair comparison at all. You're comparing FIFTY PLUS years (WWE) to not even 7 until June (TNA). No crap WWE's going to beat them in ratings and stuff. That's not an accomplisment by no means. You're tryng to compare two uncomparable things. Why does ECW get "more" viewers? It's a WWE product. If WWE's name wasn't on ECW it wouldn't be that popular either.

so lapsed fans are fans that forget storylines? no...lapsed fans are the fans who are from former eras that want the wwe to stay the same, and are always bitching about change. ala attitude fans, and hogan fans.
