Yeah, I posted this awhile back but it's cool. I agree with Cornette - he's not being bitter he's just telling the truth. He's right on the money. As much as I enjoy Christian, how is Cornette right on the money? When Christian left WWE he was feuding with mid-carders on SD and barley on PPV's. Just because he was a main eventer on a promotion nobody watches doesn't mean he will automatically be a main eventer in WWE.

He's right that if they pushed Christian to the moon, more people from TNA would want to come over because they see opportunity. It would be a slap in the face to TNA, and then when guys jumped over, he could or couldn't have pushed them, but at least he would have stolen them away.

He sounds like an idiot. "I dont care what they do on ECW, neither does anybody else". Actually ECW has more viewers than TNA does duh. So when he says stupid crap like that, its just makes TNA looks bad. Its like saying "Look at WWE, they suck, but we still cant do HALF as well as them, so what does that say about us??" TNA just always comes off looking very stupid when they or one of their people bad mouth WWE. They try and make it look like WWE isnt competition and that WWE isn't any good, when WWE beats their asses on everything. Ratings, PPV buyrates, merchandise sales, etc. I mean they DOMINATE them. You're not making a fair comparison at all. You're comparing FIFTY PLUS years (WWE) to not even 7 until June (TNA). No crap WWE's going to beat them in ratings and stuff. That's not an accomplisment by no means. You're tryng to compare two uncomparable things. Why does ECW get "more" viewers? It's a WWE product. If WWE's name wasn't on ECW it wouldn't be that popular either. I'm not saying ECW is popular, because its not. I agree with Cornette that its the C show, and that it pretty much sucks IMO. Im just saying that when TNA's people crap on anything WWE does, its make them look stupid when they cant even come close to competeing. And i am making a fair comparison. TNA when fairly compared to WWE, can barely compete with WWE's C show. And ECW does get more viewers because its a WWE product. And more people enjoy the WWE product than TNA's product. WWE has 50 years on TNA for a reason. TNA will NEVER reach 50 years. What is your idea of a fair comparison between TNA and WWE?? Do you want me to say "Right now WWE and TNA are uncomparable, but maybe TNA will have a chance in 50 years, so we'll just have too wait" Sorry, im smarter than that, TNA wont last half that.

What frustrates me is that after listening to the whole thing, Cornette admits that he doesn't even watch WWE programming. The basis for his arguments is just what he hears from other people. To me, that's not much different than if a WFer only read the "news" sites and posted a new thread every week on why the WWE was worse now than ever before.

IMO, I don't think the WWE cares about TNA or what they are doing. Vince doesn't even consider them a threat. TNA can barely pull a 2 in the ratings.
But, I will point this out as I was watching the Monday Night Wars DVD the other day... The WWE really has not wanted to push new stars. Which is what they used to do. Can the WWE be transitioning into what the WCW once was? Are they making bad decisions?
It almost seems like the WWE is scared to push new people because they are affraid how it will turn out, and I don't think they want to make a bad decision.
Oh, and on a side note... To me Vince isn't being very professional about Christian. I mean, granted he doesn't like the guy, but business is business. You have to push all of that personal crap aside. If you know Christian was a top dog in TNA you really should take advantage of it, then he should have showcased him better. I guess we'll all have to wait and see what happens after WM25.
Sorry for the rant everyone.

Cry some moar, Jimmy Boy. TNA is lucky if they even get ratings equal to ECW.
