I remember there being pics shown in magazines and on TV of The Big BossMan after his beatdown from Nailz, does anyone have these pics?

No bro, I don't have - but now that I think about it - I remember the pics were pretty graphic and somewhat disturbing. Bossman was bruised up pretty severely. I'll try to look for them and see if I could dig anything up for ya.

was this some kind of shoot between the two? Nope it was a storyline. They would show short clips of Nailz saying how he was coming to find Bossman & "get even for what he did". I think Bobby Heenan revealed that Bossman would asault Nailz while he was incarcerated. After a squash match Bossman had on TV, Nailz stormed the ring from the audience & attacked Bossman. He handcuffed him to the ring ropes & bashed him in the legs, arms & around the face with Bossman's nightstick. This put Bossman on the shelf for about a month or so. Weeks later during one of Nailz's televised matches, the commentary team fielded a phone call from Bossman. As he was describing his injuries, they showed the post-beatdown pics. I think they were in a WWF magazine as well. If the injuries were the result of make up, they were very well done. Not sure if he had some kind of surgery at the time & they incorporated it into the story line or not. Beatdown clip: Phone call WITH PHOTOS!: |

I remember watching that on TV and seeing the pics on the magazine. It was brutal, and what a way to introduce Nailz to the WWF.

I have never seen any of this, but this is a brilliant storyline. A debuting wrestler comes in as an escaped prisoner to feud with a prison guard. Wonderful work, WWF.
