andre weighed much much more when hogan slammed him in the silverdome!
and to be fair wm3 wasn't even the first time hogan slammed andre, he did in his first wwf run.

Hogan slammed Andre before he did it in WWF. Stan Hansen also slammed Andre many times.

IMO, when Hogan slammed Andre, that WAY too sloppy, I wouldn't says that was properly Body Slammed. But in that picture of Inoki body slammed Andre, thats looks awesome.

IMO, when Hogan slammed Andre, that WAY too sloppy, I wouldn't says that was properly Body Slammed. But in that picture of Inoki body slammed Andre, thats looks awesome. If your selling the match your not going to properly slam Andre the Giant..That would kinda kill the story.. |

Alot of people have slammed Andre.....Canek,Inoki,Hansen,Hogan,Kobayashi theres plenty but the best was Stan Hansen He put Andre through a very pretty rough bodyslam.
Oh and the reason they say hogan was the fist to do it because hogan was god.......

Stan Hansen, Antonio Inoki, Hulk Hogan, Harley Race, Ultimate Warrior are all guys I know that have slammed Andre The Giant...All did it before WM 3 as well except Warrior

The weight comment someone mentioned is a very valid point, andre piled on the pounds during the WWF stint. A great feat by everyone who slammed andre before hogan but i think hogan and warrior had the toughest job.
Yes, Hogans slam was not technically fantastic, but keep that in mind when you try to slam a near 500 pound giant

Andre was A LOT lighter back when others slammed him. Hogan was the first to slam Andre when he was over 500 lbs. In fact, the ONLY two people to slam the 500+ lb Andre are Hogan and Warrior.

There is nothing "awesome" about this find. Both Sting and Macho slammed the Big Show when he was in the low to mid 400's in WCW. It's not an uncommon accomplishment.
But a full bodyslam on a 500+ lb giant, that's something only a few can brag about.
