I called it in the competition thread. I knew Gate would make that Jarrett. It looks great.

Awesome customs from everybody. I will have an in-depth review later on tonight. But let me say DAMN, JAY IMPRESSED THE HELL OUT OF ME.

TCKDeen has really outdone himeself with this one.

dream I feel you were far too hard on yourself on your custom. It turned out great. Titans is nice as well I'm going to have to google that person though because I have no idea who it is.

geez guys this is great, better than I expected from a lot of you.. looking forward to judging in a bit.

My my, this is truely an unreal thread.

In my eyes:

Delerious vs Ortiz - Although both figures were of a decent quality, the Ortiz head just looks to much like angle, and its pushing me towrads voting for Delerious. Really good effort and claps to both of you though.

Reckless Youth vs Booker -Youth looks good based on the pics on page 2, a lot of work going in to the leg region. The eyes are slightly off, somthing i understand is now fixed. I dont like the red elbow pad either, just looks too shiney. The booker is also a decent effort, i think the parts choice is quite good although im not a fan of the flames and the hair sculpt. Although both are nice, i think Youth looks cleaner, so i pick Youth

NOD Crush vs Golga - Hasbros are my thing and the golga is a really decent custom. Im not crazy about the mask but the sculpt on the pants are fantastic, i also really like the shirt, lovely job. I had to go with crush though, its great, i love it, its simple but is mint, sooo smooth, id add it to my collection, at first i didnt really like the face, but on reflection, its really good. Well done guys, but im tipping crush.

Chazz Michael Michaels vs Jason Gideon - after seeing the refs, im gonna have to go with chazz, its based on the character rather than the detail seeing as both customs are very good. I have no prior knowledge of either character, and now i have looked back at them and the ref pics, its soooo very close. Both heads are great, both painting's are simple but nice and clean.
Initial gut feeling says chazz, so thats what im picking. Good stuff both of you.

Sandmans Muta - i cant help but see this one as being a lot better than Gates, realism wins out. Gates looks fun but sandmans just rocks, plain as that. I hope this does not sound rude although im sure it does, but although both customs are detailed and clean, Gates almost looks like a 3rd party companys version of Sandmans official version. I tried to say that with tact as its not a knock but in comparison, i hope you see what i mean.
The detail in sandmans is pure class, the scale, the dragon, the paint work and im partial to the random posed figure every now and again. - Sandman wins

Gates Jeff - Both are fantastic, really really great, i will be honest, the attire is what won it. Any points that Gate lost on the Muta he more than made up for on this. Infact i think gore has caught the look 'facially' better, i think it looks more like jeff. But Gates version just thrills me, the attire is sweet, so clean. Really difficult choice, both are great but gate just gets it.

jays RIC FLAIR - coin toss. Its gonna have to be preference based on more than just quality, and i prefered Jays era flair, simple as that. It is such a tough choice as both look soooooo good. Well done.

Everything above are my picks on initial gut feeling, it can be tricky to pick why i like one more than an other when there is not much between them, like the JJ & Ric face offs, but i will make a detailed response at a later.

Now, SCORPION vs MUTA.

i honestly can not pic, i think the majority may pic scorpion due to the scale well, and how mint it is. I hope the Muta is not overlooked due to it being a hasbro, in fairness thats whats making it difficult.
Both are perfect in their own respect and i can not decide. When i saw Scorp, my eyes started to pop, without thinking i just presumed it the winner without seeing the competition. Then i scrolled and saw Muta, unreal, truely unrealy.
Seriously, the pair of you should be very very happy with these, i presume they were sculpted and parts were picked, i.e, i hope the scorpion is not just a modified figure from an MK line. I assume its not... man, i keep looking at them whilst typing this and its not getting any easier. The modeling and paint work is insane.

edit - gonna have to pick muta, its a hasbro and thats the reason it wins, sorry, but thats the case.

jay the flair looks like a picture it looks so real great job

gore nice job on jj paitning looks good and head mods are great

gate the jj is one of the best if not best paint job i have seen nice and smooth

1. Mrsaveus, simply yo me looks way more clean.

2.Nova, because it looks a little better in my view. Good Match

3. Classiccollector, because it is waaaay cleaner than biohazards.

4.Titantrap, it is cleaner, and looks more professional. Dream almost won this, and if he does, he deserves the title

5.Deen, looks mad awesome, and looks really good.

6.Sandman, because it looks reallly good and just a hair better than GCS.

7. Jay, simply because it was battledamaged and it really caught the look of a battle damaged figure

8. Gatecitysinner, it looks better than jakks, its just an awesome custom, and its captures his look great.
