Yeah, so I'm kinda bummed about this. I was looking for some information on this year's game, only to find that the series has been canceled due to budget cuts and, from what I read, EA's contract with NASCAR expiring.
I know a lot of you won't care, but this is one game I really liked playing, and with all the changes in the series this year...teams merging, drivers in different cars, retired drivers and the like, it would be impossible to keep up all the changes.

I like NASCAR, I'm a NASCAR fan, but I just don't feel that NASCAR and the way the competition is played out lends itself well to a video game. It just winds up being another Racing game. The Gran Turismo and Forza franchises are better at being sims.

That sucks. I guess I'll just stick with 09 and come up with paint schemes to update it.
I enjoy online play. But the thing is full of people going backwards and crashing you. Now I'm wondering if a Nascar 2k series could be coming?

I hired out a Nascar game and I've got to admit, slightly tilting the joystick to the left for what seems an eternity is probably the most dire Driving Game ever.

Well see.....NASCAR isn't about street racing. Racing didn't start on the street, as some would believe. It did start on the oval courses around the country....

I haven't enjoyed a NASCAR game since NASCAR 2005 Chase for the Cup on PS2.
