WOW...just.....WOW.... To make this into a joke....= You didn't know Slappy was gay? You've been here since 2006... we've been referencing it almost 97% of his posts for like his entire duration here. That includes before you got here. Exactly and it's not going to stop.

It sucks that her life had to come to a short end, for reasons beyond her control.

This is an 8 year old girl who went missing a couple weekes ago. Yesterday farm workers found a container with her body in it. Authorities have a search warrant for a nearby church. Its very sad. How could anyone murder such a young person. kron4.com more information. I finally opened up this topic today for the first time and once again it's about a young kid being killed. Are you really all that shocked?

If you had a choice between her being the one dead and you being the one dead, which would you chose? Probably the most preposterous question I've heard today.

Still a legit question though. People like to dolt upon sad events even when it has nothing to do with them. No, it's not a legit question. It's a dumb question. Naturally people are going to value their own lives, or the people who's lives are close to them; more than people they don't know... That said, it should be pretty obvious that children's lives are valued more than a 50 year old's. If you want to break it down to the simple science of it all, it has to do with a species' uncontrollable desire to expand its population. Children are obviously going to be held higher in that regard.

I was just commenting on the fact that people die every day and another child dying isn't going to elicit much sympathy from some of us. It's still sad to be sure though.

He's acting as if this girl was God, so I was asking that. He seems to think it was just the end of the world because she died. He needs to learn that's not the case, it's only the end of the world as Sandra Cantu knows it.

Sure "it happens every day" and doesn't affect us personally, but does that make it OK? I see a lot of threads on here of people who have had a loved one pass away, do you go in those threads telling everyone to stop acting like they knew the person?

No, because they are consoling the person who made the post. Had the person who made this post known her and not just in a she was in my city kind of way, but family/friend then I wouldn't have bothered. I said he seems to think not he said it's the end of the world. You people are going to have no energy left if you keep up with every single missing person or person that dies. A lot of your time will be gone as well. Why do we grieve her more than a solider? We don't have posts with RIP (name) every time a soldier dies, so we don't need one every time some little girl is murdered either. If this were a rare occurance, maybe then post it, but children get murdered probably every day and 99% do not get a post, why? I don't know, but something I guess made this girl special.
