Back in 95, what was the point of having 1-2-3 Kid and Bob Holly win the Tag Team tournament for the Tag Team Championship only to have them lose it the following day to The Smoking Gunns?
Would it been easier just to have have the Gunns win the tournament?
Why were 1-2-3 and Bob Holly split up straight away after that?

The Gunns were originally in the tournament. However Billy suffered a rodeo injury (what the acutal injury was I don't know) and they were replaced by Holly & Kid. I believe the Gunns were slated to win the whole tournament.
But I cannot answer the question as to why they only had a 24 hour title reign. Personally, I was hopign Bigelow & Tatanka would win the titles.

yeah the gunns were injured and they were supposed to have the titles all along. so they just decided to have the underdog team get an upset, plus it advanced the angle between bam bam bigelow and LT because Bam Bam felt LT was laughing at him for losing to them.
