What is Bret Hart's win-loss record against Shawn Michaels? Both in singles and in tag team.

For TV and PPV matches, or overall?

I always wondered I found a few matches I never seen before on youtube like a cage match and some match from wrestling challenge I think where HBK won because Owen Hart interfered

The only times they fought I know off the top of my head were the following...
Hart Foundation def. Rockers (SNME, Rockers won, rope broke....decision reversed)
Hart Foundation @ Rockers double DQ (Demolitions interfered....@ SNME)
Bret Hart def. Shawn Michaels (First ever ladder match, I believe I still have it on Coliseum HV)
Bret Hart def. Shawn Michaels ( @ Survivor Series)
Bret Hart (w/Hart Family) def Shawn Michaels (w/Knights) @ Survivor Series
Shawn Michaels def Bret Hart (Ironman Match @ Wrestlemania)
Shawn Michaels def. Bret Hart (Montreal Screwjob)
So thats leads me to Bret being 4-2-1 over all against Michaels

If I remember correctly, during Bret's first & second run as WWF champ they fought a lot at house shows, & Bret won majority (if not all) of them.

In the interest of starting an argument,
Michaels defeated him in their two matches most wrestling fans remember.

I also know there were alot of dark matches in early 97 with Sid v. HBK v. Bret that HBK won, but you cant count that as clean.
I would also dare to say Bret beat HBK in quite a few dark matches and house show back in the day too.

they had a steel cage match on wrestling challenge or superstars throughout 92 they wrestled ic champ vs wwe champ matches all over the world most notably at survivor series. bret won all of the house show matches.
there is dvd's on ioffer etc that are called fued of the century and such. i suggest tracking one of these down.

In the interest of starting an argument, Michaels defeated him in their two matches most wrestling fans remember. michaels defeated him twice once under controversial circumstances wmxii and the other under ridiculously controversial circumstances. i never understood the kayfabe decision of making bret defend the title after hbk FAILED to defeat him in 6o mins. the champion should never have to defeat the challenger, restarting a world title match for the sheer entertainment of the fans is a crime.

The man in your sig has a bit to say about controversy. You still obviously side with him. I don't have to defend myself.

It's been rumored that the match's finish was part of HBK-Bret's legit tension. The original proposal was something like a 4-3 fall count but Bret was loathe to lose to Shawn at WM so the OT finish was booked to allow Bret's character to save face. It might well have served as fodder for a WM 13 rematch but by '97, HBK and Bret had gotten so heated behind-the-scenes Bret accusing HBK of faking the severity of his knee injury and HBK accusing Bret of jealousy and refusing to speak to him.

I saw Bret vs HBK for the IC title on the European Rampage tour in Glasgow in 1992 which Bret won.
