TNA wrestler A.J. Styles represented TNA at last night's Dove Awards in Nashville, Tenn. that aired on the Gospel Music Channel. Styles presented along with Christian R&B artists Grits and he appeared to be nervous doing a brief skit and mock wrestling promo on stage.
Styles was introduced by one of the Dove Award hosts as a "three-time winner of the TNA Triple Crown wrestling championship (pause) award."
He interacted with the two members of Grits before suggesting they freshen things up with a hot tag. They no-sold his request, then Styles introduced a video package on the nominees for the Short Form Music Video of the Year category.
-- Backstage TNA interviewer Lauren Brooke is hosting an NFL Draft "Top Four" video segment that's currently being played on Internet banner ads (including a banner ad on the right side of Torch main listing).
The two-minute spot is from the "College Sports Minute" video channel available on NBC's hulu.com. Lauren has also done work with The Golf Channel. College Sports Minute page.
