Just got back from Bucs practice. I have to admit, Freeman really impressed me. Wait until the regular season and the dude tosses INTs and incomplete passes.

Only 10 first round picks still unsigned and two of them are our guys. We really need to ink deals for Ayers and Moreno this week, especially Ayers since we are going to the 3-4 defense this year.

First preseason game next Sunday.
Tennessee vs Buffalo. It's great to finally watch a game.

As good as Freeman could be in practice, I think that the starter will be Byron at least for the beginning of the season.

If there was one pick that I was BEGGING the Jets not to make.....it was Josh Freeman. I think he is incredibly inconsistant.

I am going to hold all rants on him until I see him play in the NFL. Cause ya never know, eh?

I was just watching some Hakeem Nicks highlights. God damn, the kid has hands. He's going to be a great fit for The Giants, and especially Eli. His YAC impress me the most. I love the kid. What's not to like? I agree that he should've gotten consideration for the second best WR in the draft. How about that Car Care Bowl last year? I wanted him on my team the second that game ended, but oh well. He'll do well in NY.

The Broncos were talking about him too to replace Cutler and I was praying they didn't. Honestly, same went for Sanchez. I didn't like any of the QBs in this year's draft.

I am going to hold all rants on him until I see him play in the NFL. Cause ya never know, eh? I cant say for certainity. But from what he has shown us in the college level.....no way. I dont even see him being a capable backup. If there was one pick that I was BEGGING the Jets not to make.....it was Josh Freeman. I think he is incredibly inconsistant. Agreed. The Broncos were talking about him too to replace Cutler and I was praying they didn't. Honestly, same went for Sanchez. I didn't like any of the QBs in this year's draft. I truly love Sanchez. I think he has a chance to turn out to be a star. And the biggest reason for that.......the Jets have surrounded him with talent. The offensive line is one of the best in the league. Their defense is coming off a huge year and have only made upgrades with Scott and Leonard. Gholston is finally starting to look good, albeit in camp and I still have HIGH reservations on him. The Jets have an above average running game, adding Green is going to move that running game into the middle of the top 10. Sanchez has a few weapons to throw to. Cotchery is a SOLID #2 receiver. Keller is a great pass catching TE.....cant block worth a shit. But hey. Brad Smith adds mystery, as he is a former QB. Stuckey works well in the slot and has some decent hands. And finally, Clowney has blazing speed. There are still some major needs.....IE #1 WR and depth at LB. But the Jets are in the right direction.

So the Jets are going 16-0 and Sanchez is going to Canton? I couldn't even read most of that because I just heard a loud mopping sound of some ball washing in that entire rant.
Adds mystery...what's he going to do a magic trick?....sorry, sorry, an illusion? (AD reference)

Got Robert Ayers signed today. Now we just need to get Moreno into camp. Ayers was the more important of the two, though, in my opinion.
