To whoever said the Jets will go 9-7... The Pats will rape them twice. The Dolphins will follow suit. T.O and Trent will do enough damage to get atleast one win against the Jets. That's 5 right there. Good luck with that. The Jets can usually grab one from NE, but lets say they lost both. The Dolphins?! Please! They wont be as good as last year. This year they have to play a first place schedule and people wont be suprised by them. So split those. And as far as the Bills......they got worse with the loss of Peters and the addition of TO. Easy 2 there. When do the Jets usually grab one from the Pats? When Bradys not playing?

What makes you think, if Brady comes back at his usual 110% self (obviously that is to be determined...that injury is a career ender for some...I cant think of many that have come back from that and been back to normal...but...w/e) the Jets stand a chance against the Pats?

When do the Jets usually grab one from the Pats? When Bradys not playing? Yes and when he is. Patriots are 11-3 against the Patriots this decade....9-1 when Brady is playing. 2 of the 3 losses came when Drew Bledsoe and Matt Cassel were the QB Want to try again big guy?

I am not even remotely interested in trying to look this up to see if you are correct. Bottom line is they got 1 last year and 1 the year before they went undefeated. If you want to discount last year's win, then I discount all NE wins due to not being able to beat Sanchez and the Jets.

Sanchez is def a good comparison to the impact Brady makes on their team.
Awesome

What i don't understand is how everyone can say the Dolphins had an easy scedule last year. They all play the same teams. Jets, DOlphins, Pats, and Bills.

Well the Dolphins played two games against the worst teams in the AFC since they went 1-15 the year before.
So yes, they did have an easier schedule.

No, they don't play the same teams. They play SOME of the same teams, but many of them are also completely different. Miami's non-division schedule in '08Arizona San Diego Houston Baltimore Denver Seattle Oakland St. Louis San Francisco Kansas City New England's non-division schedule in '08Atlanta Baltimore Denver Tennessee Tampa Bay Indianapolis New Orleans Carolina Jacksonville Houston The bottom teams generally have the easiest schedules the following year.

New England never played anyone from the NFC South this year....
I think you messed up your schedule Kliquid.
The AFC East played NFC West.
The teams in the same division play the same teams as everyone else in their division, except for two games. Those two games they play the two teams in the other divisions in their conference who had the same rank in their division the year before.
So yes, in short, the Dolphins had an easier schedule than the Pats/Bills/Jets

Well Kliquid said in '08, so generally, an intelligent person would assume he meant last year, not this upcoming season.

God everyone just bashing the Dolphins gets so annoying. Sure, we got lucky because of no Brady last year with one game, but we were a good team and shocked everyone, and I hate how some of you (...Showstopper) just discredit them for no reason. I doubt you know how they have improved over the offseason.
I can take any intelligent critisism for my points, I don't mind looking stupid.
- Ronnie Brown, last year he was just back from injury, this year he should be much better. The same goes for Ricky and getting the rust off. The improved OL will help them too.
-Pennington, he went a season without getting injured, hopefully he can repeat it again. Again, the OL should help. Plus he is a game manager, he doesn't throw too many int's.
-The WRs, none are great, but they and the tight ends can get the job done. Plus, logic would make me assume Ginn, Bess, and London have improved as they gain experience. Depth was also added in the draft.
-Who did we really lose defense-wise that hasn't been replaced? Andre Goodman and Renaldo Hill. Replacements- Vontae Davis/Sean Smith and Gibril Wilson aswell as a promising rookie safety. Btw Smith is 6' 4" and has skills which will help against any tall receiver
-Langford and Merling, defensive ends, added experience.
-Signed Cameron Wake, CFL's DPOY twice in a row. 37" vertical jump and he had an astounding amount of sacks within those 2 years. Adding him will make teams not focus as much on Joey Porter.
-Pat White in the wildcat, er, "WildPat"
Those are some of the major moves. I'm sure there are more slipping my mind though.
Yes, I'm aware the Jets have improved a lot on defense, but on offense you have a rookie qb or a qb who was never great. Stop acting like the Jets will destroy the Dolphins. The season hasn't even started.
For the Pats, well they will have Brady back, and their draft was great. As far as I'm concerned, they are going to win the division.
Bills, meh.

Well, at least all can agree that Jets fans don't know much of anything. Comparing Sanchez to Brady in ANY way makes you look intellectually- disabled. Also no one is bashing the Dolphins (as far as I know of), yes they did have an easy schedule, proof is there.

But the fact that you mentioned the Canadian football MVP as someone that might impact the division is kinda silly too

My apologies. I don't know why I said '08. I meant '09. My point was to point out the fact that just because you're in the same division, you don't play ALL the same teams.
