I don't think Cutler is that good.

QB:1. Peyton Manning 2. Drew Brees 3. Tom Brady 4. Kurt Warner 5. Phillip Rivers 6. Ben Roethlisberger 7. Eli Manning 8. Tony Romo 9. Carson Palmer 10. Aaron Rodgers There's no way in hell I'd have Eli Manning that high. Probably 9th or 10th, or lower for him... I'd put Jay Cutler on the list, as well... Other than that, you've got a good list. RB:1. Adrian Peterson 2. Steven Jackson 3. LT 4. Frank Gore 5. Brandon Jacobs 6. Brian Westbrook 7. Michael Turner 8. Maurice Jones-Drew 9. Deangelo Williams 10. Matt Forte I really don't even think Brandon Jacobs is top-10. Let alone top-5. Ronnie Brown and Clinton Portis should both probably make the list. WR:1. Randy Moss 2. Larry Fitzgerald 3. Andre Johnson 4. Calvin Johnson 5. Steve Smith 6. Anquan Boldin 7. Reggie Wayne 8. TO 9. Roddy White 10. Brandon Marshall Well having Randy Moss at No. 1 makes this list good enough on its own... But I think I'd probably put Reggie Wayne at No. 5, move Calvin up to at least No. 3, and probably swap Brandon Marshall with T.O.

I would put Jacobs in as a top 5. Jackson, has the talent.......but he wont be as good statistically as Jacobs due to his offensive line woes and the Rams stinking. If the 49ers actually run the ball, like planned, Gore will be a beast again and might actually hit the 1800yds he wants too. That's the whole point. These aren't fantasy football rankings. Steven Jackson is not as good statistically as he should be because he's on an awful team... Thus me saying he's significantly better than his stats show. Same goes with Frank Gore. They're both top-5 in talent, which is what I'm ranking them on.

I think Eli is top 10, I just can't put him below Romo because I'm a Giant's fan. But I would take Eli over half of that list if you're down by a score, and have 2 minutes left in the game. 2. Not changing my views on this. 3. WR's dont bother me that much

Why is Drew Brees ahead of Brady?

Why is Drew Brees ahead of Brady? I'm not 100% sold that Brady is going to be 100% this season. Once he shows that he's back to form, he'll jump up.

Why is Drew Brees ahead of Brady? My guess is with the injury concerns... I'd probably have Brady at No. 1 still, but I don't blame people for being a little skeptical.

Why is Drew Brees ahead of Brady? Maybe because he played great last year and Brady didn't even play? Brees barely has any offensive weapons, and if he did they were hurt. Brady has offensive weapons.

Eli ahead of Tony, and Cutler not even on the list? I'll rank Eli ahead of Tony right now. That Super Bowl win and MVP means a lot.

This year he was good. 21 Touchdowns and 10 Interceptions. 60% completion rating. That's not mediocre. That's good.

Peterson is a good back, but if he continues to fumble the way he does he will be mediocre at best. I mean, yeah you can get a crapload of yards but when you fumble 12 times it hurts your team a hell of a lot.

For the type of offense the Giants run, Eli fits perfectly.

He will get better at holding onto the ball.

For the type of offense the Giants run, Eli fits perfectly. If Eli was Peyton the Giants would be a passing team. What they have is a scheme tailored to the type of quarterback they have. I'll rank Eli ahead of Romo based on what he's done with his team. In terms of statistical rankings Romo rapes him though. In any other position you wouldn't even take the team aspect into account but unfortunately you almost have to now.

Some NFL News & Notes:
Cardinals disgruntled WR Anquan Boldin fired agent Drew Rosenhaus after Rosenhaus couldn't strike a new contract with the Cards.
Jerry Jones stated that vetran DE Greg Ellis will either be traded or cut. The Cowboys granted Ellis' reguest to shop around for a trade on Tuesday (today).
The Browns signed CB Rod Hood. Hood was a starting CB for the Cardinals in the Super Bowl last year.
The Dolphins signed CB Will Allen to a two-year extension worth 16.2 million, 10 million of which is guaranteed, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus' Twitter page.
During a chat with NFL.com, Jared Allen was asked how it felt to have the coolest hair-do in the league, and his reply was ''It's freaking awesome. It's not just a hair-do, it's a lifestyle and I feel I have the coolest lifestyle in the league.''
-NFL.com. The last one was good for a chuckle.
