Boldin is a tad bit ered in the head methinks. No but seriously, the thing I'm looking forward to the most as a Giants fan is the defense. Tuck, Osi, Kiwi, Canty, Bernard, Freddy Robbins, and Cofield tearing crapup on the line. That's a ing illegal defensive line depth. Michael Boley is finally going to give us someone who can cover faster RBs, and who can get after the QB. AP is slow, but if he can get in shape, it will go along well with his great knowledge of the system. Clint Sintim is going to be a tank at OLB once he works on coverage. The secondary is underrated. Corey Webster is a phenomenal press corner, and while Aaron Ross needs work, he has shown improvement and the ability to make plays. Michael Johnson is a solid safety, and Kenny Phillips is going to be cracking skulls this year.

The Giants' defense is very good... In fact, pretty much all of the NFC East defenses are very good. I could easily see all of them in the top-10 this year.

If Ware continues to play as well as he has, he's on track for beating Strahan's record. We've gotta see how Olhansky does in Canty's place though. Eagles, I think, are going to be a bust this season. I wouldn't put it past McNabb to play like shit. Their defense is good though. Hopefully Johnson makes it past his cancer. The Redskins always have a good defense, so I wouldn't be surprised.

I like Boley a lot. I don't understand why he fell out of favor here in Atlanta. But oh well.

Saints vs Giants Saints vs Cowboys Panthers vs Eagles Panthers vs Giants Falcons vs Redskins Falcons vs Eagles Oh boy. (Yes I left the Bucs off but I really feel like they don't have an offense anymore.)

(Yes I left the Bucs off but I really feel like they don't have an offense anymore.) 1. Should be a shoot out. But I think in the end, the Giants have a defense that can tame Brees enough so the Giants offense can storm through the Saints mediocre D. 2. Going to be up to both offenses. if Ware can get to Brees, look for the Cowboys to win. 3. Going to be tough for the Eagles. Their run defense isn't going to be that good with Dawkins making those tackles, and the Panthers have a good backfield. However, the Panthers defense isn't that good. 4. Giants beat the Panthers without Plax, a worn down defensive line, and on a 2 game losing streak. They have a solid depth at the line position, and a new offensive scheme. Giants look to repeat. 5. Falcons should be able to beat the Skins. Matt Ryan is going to be a stud. Redskins don't have enough offense to compete with the Falcons. 6. Tough one. Is entirely up to how Matt Ryan can react to the blitzes, and how well McNabb plays. I think the Falcons are going to win the NFC South this year.

It's the Saints turn to win the NFC South or at least make the playoffs.

Honestly, it'll be whichever team has a better defense.
They both have high powered offenses.

But Michael Turner is a beast. The Saint's don't have someone on that D-Line that can be a forceful run stopper. The NFC South has some great running backs, and the Saints are either going to have to address that, or be able to outscore every opponent.

I'm really excited about the Giants defense this year. I can definately see them ranking in the top 5 if everyone stays healthy.

No kidding, I guess if you rank them on potential and talent without factoring in bruised vaginas and periods the Patriots would be #4

- There's no doubt in my mind that I'd rather have Romo/Barber/Jones/Choice; than Manning/Jacobs/Bradshaw.
- I'd take Ryan/Turner/Norwood over most of the ones above them.
- Ryan Grant sucks, so I don't know how the Packers are so high.
- Cutler/Forte are definitely better than Rodgers/Grant...

JJ Arrington had to have season ending surgery today and was released by the Broncos. Well that kinda sucks... Anyways, I was reading SI's article on Tom Brady. Still proves nothing to me, but it has made me think the injury MIGHT not be as big of a hassle for him as it was for others.

Peter King should just quit, his main goal for that article was to prove your doubts about Brady wrong. What a failure he is

Yes, he needs his legs. But he depends on his arms to make the plays. And Brady is too mentally tough to allow this to be a mental setback. I say Brady throws for 35+ TDs this season.
