Oh, I remember everyones little friend who I think was banned twice. Every week he'd come in and argue with Ralpho or Bubba Ray about the Giants going 15-1 and winning the Super Bowl.

I wasn't calling you out at all. Most of those 'closet' fans came out after the Giants beat the Patriots... Remember all the idiots that had, "omg teh giaents did it!!11!! 18-1 lololololol" in their profiles? Those are the idiots I was talking about. Some of them still post here, but yeah, it happens with every team. It happened when the Steelers won this year, too. A bunch of people who were blatantly NOT Steelers fans were suddenly on board. I mean, it's just typical bandwagoning. It'd happen with any team. I'm just saying that it probably has to do with the amount of bandwagoning with the Giants that the discussion here often turns to the Giants. Yep, I remember the threads about how the Giants were unbeatable and Superbowl bound. Those guys stopped posting in January. Exact same thing when the Jets beat the Titans.

I mean, I'll talk Giants smack all year long. Even when they lose, I'll still be in your face. In other, utterly ridiculous news, Michael Fabiano predicted that the Giant's will have 3, that's right 3 1,000 yard rushers this year. 4. The Giants will become the first team in NFL history to have three 1,000-yard rushers in one season. Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Ward topped 1,000 yards for the Giants in 2008, and the team could probably run the ball even more now in the wake of Plaxico Burress' departure. Eli Manning was never a fantasy superstar. He's more like this generation's version of Trent Dilfer -- a guy that rode a hot defense and strong running game to a Super Bowl title. The Giants entire passing game philosophy seemingly consisted of Manning lobbing prayers in the air, and Burress answering them by making big plays. Now Manning must go forward with Domenik Hixon and Steve Smith. Meaning the Giants will be running. A lot. We might even see a Wing T formation this season. I can't even tell you who the third running back for the Giants is, but I expect him to rush for 1,000 yards this season. www.nfl.com/fantasy/story?id=09000d5d810a018a&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true

In Eli's defense, this past year, he played pretty well. Didn't throw many picks, controlled the game well. I'm most impressed by his ability to read and exploit a defense though.

I know, he was much better in '08 than he was in '07, but most people won't look at it like that because his TEAM didn't win the Superbowl. So ridiculous.

Eli played very well in the playoffs, but the defense was the star of that run.

You know I like to rip TO for the craphe puts his team, QB, front office, coach, etc through. But now its time to give credit and its credit I dont think has been given out enough. No....not to TO.
Randy Moss has completely turned his career around in NE. You can say Brady or Belichik.......they definitely contributed. But Moss had to make the choice to do it. So for a guy who was headed down the path that TO is on......Moss deserve credit. I think last season really proved that. They may have won 11 games, but Moss had to get used a new QB, deal with losing his QB, the media and growing pains for the team.

Moss's off-the-field incidents have been severely overplayed. In all seriousness, the offenses he has are FAR less than the offenses of countless other NFL players. Hell, even Jared Allen, who is generally considered a 'good guy', has worse off-the-field incidents than Moss... At least since Moss came into the NFL, that is.

Offensive Lines1. Giants 2. Patriots 3. Cowboys 4. Colts 5. Titans 6. Vikings 7. Chargers 8. Panthers 9. Saints 10. Jets The Titans are too low. They should be two or three. Panthers are also too low, and the Broncos should be on there.
