It's not like the Steelers shouldn't be number 1 anyways. They won the Superbowl. They're the best team in football going into this season. There's no "ifs" about it. Not according to the people who make their money creating the betting lines. Current Vegas leaders for the SuperbowlNew England Patriots: 6/1 Pittsburgh Steelers: 10/1 New York Giants: 11/1 Indianapolis Colts: 14/1 Philadelphia Eagles: 14/1 Dallas Cowboys: 15/1 Minnesota Vikings: 16/1 Tennessee Titans: 18/1 New Orleans Saints: 20/1 Chicago Bears: 20/1

So right now the odds are on a rematch from SB 42?

Cowboys look a little high on that list to me... Agreed, but the Cowboys always get a little over-rated by bookies, because they're the most popular team (so lots of homers bet on them, which drives their odds down).

See, one team I've never been able to count out is Chicago. One season they can get their asses handed to them on a pretty frequent basis, but then the next they can rob everyone blind.
Oh well.

And yet still not win a Super Bowl. Can the Bears contend for the playoffs? Sure. But Super Bowl....forget it. Cutler isnt as good as people thought he was. I think we will see it this year when he is dog crapto throw to.

If the Vikings get a quarterback, they have the division under wraps, barring any serious injury to one of their key guys.

If Favre can get his team pumped week after week, it might just inspire their defense and the rest of their offense to play better. As for Favre's current skill level though....I make no promises.

He meant pumped up full of vicodin. win. They said on SC that a nephew of Sahel Kazemi said that Sahel had purchased a gun recently.

They also said her wound was a contact wound, meaning the barrel was pressed against her head. ...but they won't call it what it is....a murder suicide. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened at this point.

But anyway, I think the police are being slow to confirm this just to rule every other possibility out. It seems like McNair was fooling around with this chick. Her nephew wont believe she murdered Steve b/c she loved him and just bought furniture b/c they were going to move in together. Steve probably promised her he was leaving his wife, she bought the furniture and gun and Steve called it off and she killed him.

When in doubt, blame Kevin Sullivan. I think the facts that are now emmerging about the McNair case are too great not to be seen as being linked to a Murder-Suicide.

The last I heard is that outside the gun being the girl's, the gun being next to her body and the pressing against her forehead.....police are saying there seems to be a few other things that lead them to believe a double homicide. But they wont say what those things are.
