Well considering Mcnair was dating her, then it was found him and his wife were looking to move kinda seems like she got jealous and shot him/killed herself.

I mean, I liked McNair as a player, but it is looking more and more like what they suspect is the case.
They weren't divorcing, he was dating this chick on the side, she thought they were divorcing, he made all sorts of empty promises to her. And when he finally got cornered with her getting ready to move in, he probably told her no, and she freaked out. She bought the gun a few days before. She might have planed to use it on his wife, who knows. But it looks more and more like that is what happened.
It's unfortunate, but he put himself in that situation by his actions. You can't just mess with people's emotions like that, and not expect consequences. I am sure he didn't expect them to be that dire, but nevertheless, here we are.
It's just hard for me to be too sad, or worked up over it.

Between McNair's apparently psycho mistress and Warren Moon's wife beating and multiple DUIs my favorite QBs sure have their off field issues.

Question. New report says she shot him as he slept. How they know that I have no idea...but...would you fall asleep in a condo with a woman whom you've pissed off?

Albert Haynesworth pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge and will be on probation for three months.

Thats good. Twitter is worthless and obnoxious. When I heard he was doing that, I could hear NFL legends rolling in their grave. If you want to Twitter, do it after the game.....not during.

Why does it matter if chad tweets during the game? I really can't stand how uptight the nfl is right now, they are sucking the fun out of the game. Like I understand trying to avoid celebrations like the dude how ripped off all his equipment and got buried in the CFL...But it is asinine that they are giving out fines for some of the stuff they do.

Maybe, and this is just a stab in the dark here, it's because they want their players to focus on the game itself. Instead of telling whatever waterboy who has their cell what to tweet about. How is banning Twitter "suxking the fun out of the game", exactly? Football is supposed to be about competition, not about playing **** up for the cameras like some players do (Ochocinco, T.O., etc...). The 'fun' of the game is watching whatever team you're rooting for get a win, or watching a close game come down to the last few plays. That, in my opinion, is the 'fun' of the game. Not tweeting and excessive TD celebrations.

Not tweeting and excessive TD celebrations. Yeah because not letting Ocho tweet on the sidelines is going to keep him completely in focus. If he plans on tweeting on the sideline clearly even if they don't allow it he won't be studying the play book and discussing strategy with Palmer. If anything it is just going to make him more obnoxious he'll look for something to entertain himself. Banning twitter isn't exactly sucking the fun out of football, but with how stern they are being, it is, if anything the tweeting just reminded me of this. What does it matter if T.O or ocho have some fun after their score? Its not like doing a dance in the endzone is impairing their ability to play, when it does, then I will agree that we should ban celebrations.

Its not like doing a dance in the endzone is impairing their ability to play, when it does, then I will agree that we should ban celebrations. Bold 1: After the last few seasons, that's EXACTLY what he should be doing. Bold 2: It's true that it doesn't impair their ability to play, but it delays the game. I'd rather watch the game continue than watch T.O. throw a bucket of popcorn in his face or someone pick up their cell that they hid under the goal post and "call somebody". I don't mind, for example, when Packer players do the Lambeau Leap because that's celebrating with your fans. But some of the stuff that T.O. and Ochocinco have done is just them showing off for the cameras.

Not tweeting and excessive TD celebrations. you hit the nail on the head in a not so forward way... in your opinion. in mine, and the minds of others, part of the fun of football is also watching the celebrations to see what our favorite players are coming up with each week, and i think depriving these players of some of their freedom of expression diminishes the marketability of not only teams and the NFL, but also suppresses a person's individual character and personality. now, i do agree when it hinders or disrupts a game, it should be fined or reprimanded. but what Chad does on the sideline is nobody's business -- but his own, and those that govern him directly (coaches, assistants, etc.) if they didn't want to do it, then they'll stop it. the NFL doesn't need to strike down and stop something before it even happens because they are afraid of the consequences. let Chad deal with it on the field, whether it help or hinder his performance.
