Oh. I guess what I was saying is that I don't necessarily think the Giants are a lock for being a top-3 team. In this list, yeah, they're a lock to be No. 3 on the list. I got confus'led. The only setback I see for them is the loss of Burress. They drafted Nicks....but he will still be a rookie. But their defense is gonna get even better, I know scary......with the return of Tuck. Osi. Tuck was very much there last year.

I do feel like the loss of Burress is going to be a problem for the Giants. I know he wasn't very productive last year, but he did help open the rest of the offense. I still don't feel like Eli Manning is an elite QB. Without Burress, the team is without a primary No. 1 WR, and while I expect Domenik Hixon to be moderately productive, I don't expect that Eli is going to be quite as successful in '09 as he was in '08. When it comes down to it, though, the biggest problem for the Giants is that the rest of the division has gotten better, with the exception (in my opinion) of the Cowboys.

I actually think this year is going to be Eli's best, statistically. He's going to have much, MUCH more chemistry with the smaller receivers, and I trust that Eli is coming into his prime. He knows that he needs to carry the team. The defense is going to win them games, and I expect their running attack to be just as potent as last year.

I kind of think last year was Eli's ceiling, in terms of efficiency, at quarterback.

I kind of think last year was Eli's ceiling, in terms of efficiency, at quarterback. He's still young. It's not like he's 34. I think he's going to surprise you. All of the offseason reports have said that Eli has been working extensively with the receivers, studying very hard, and some observers said he looked much more "Peyton-like". You don't give him enough credit. I'm not trying to make him sound like the best quarterback in the NFL, but he has the potential to be great.

Being on the TEAM that wins the Superbowl /=/ being a good quarterback.

Those pictures were hilarious, but being the die-hard Giants fan that I am, even I will admit that Eli isn't that great. I think he's a good quarterback no doubt, and he can make some good throws, but I always get nervous when he throws the ball.

Being on the TEAM that wins the Superbowl /=/ being a good quarterback. I know. I just did it because I know it pisses you off to no end when someone says Eli was the sole reason they won.

You compared him to Romo. I mean hell Romo isn't an elite QB either. Also TRW the NFC South might be the division to get 3 teams to the playoffs this year it is a toss up between them and the NFC East.

But, I imagine we will end up with two from each

^_^ Also, I've already seen sites selling Favre Vikings jerseys Although I am a Vikings fan, with a jump right on to the Favre bandwagon, I probably won't get a jersey of his. But, we all know if/when he arrives, he'll take number 4. Which makes me glad I didn't buy a Booty jersey when I thought about it earlier in the year. Although, I'm sure he could go back to 4 once Favre leaves in a year.

I don't give Eli credit because he's a mediocre QB. <3 This wins on so many levels. Although I have to say this. No way in this lifetime or the next will Eli be "Peyton" like. So what if Eli has a Super Bowl ring? How does that, all of a sudden, make him a great QB? Does Marino have a ring? Enough said.
