I can definitely see that happening. Preseason needs to get here soon so I can start wearing my Flacco jersey again. Except that Manning/Brady were in the same conference. Granted, this was in the 70's/80's, but what about the Bradshaw/Staubach rivalry? I mean, granted, both teams were near the Super Bowl, if not in it against each other yearly. But still. (And before you get on me about it, I know they only faced off 2 times in the Super Bowl in the 70's. But they were always contenders.)

Manning and Brady played each other quite a bit (Once a year), not to mention they met in the playoffs how many times? And for the most part of the last 10 years...it was the Colts having to go through NE.
So Flacco/Ryan wouldnt work, and I have no idea why the Steelers kid need to bring up the Steelers in EVERY discussion. I bet that rivalry was fierce in the 70's, tell us more please Mr Steelers?

Yea I was just going to say Ryan and Flacco really wouldn't play each other that much so it would be hard to establish a rivalry.

Here's something we could do in this thread for some fun/discussions. Post what you think is going to be the overall Regular Season record for each team, what the "Divisions to watch" are going to be (both AFC and NFC), and predict the SuperBowl. BUT, just go with your gut feeling. I didn't base mine off of any stats or anything like that, just a gut feeling. Here we go. AFC EastPatriots = 12-4 Bills = 6-10 Jets = 8-8 Dolphins = 9-7 AFC NorthRavens = 10-6 Steelers = 13-3 Browns = 3-13 Bengals = 5-11 AFC WestChargers = 11-5 Broncos = 8-8 Raiders = 4-12 Chiefs = 6-10 AFC SouthTitans = 12-4 Colts = 11-5 Jaguars = 8-8 Texans = 7-9 NFC EastCowboys = 9-7 Giants = 11-5 Eagles = 10-6 Redskins = 6-10 NFC NorthPackers = 7-9 Lions = 4-12 Vikings = 8-8 Bears = 8-8 NFC West49ers = 6-10 Cardinals = 8-8 Seahawks = 5-11 Rams = 4-12 NFC SouthFalcons = 10-6 Saints = 8-8 Panthers = 9-7 Buccaneers = 5-11 Divisions to watch: AFC South, NFC East, NFC South. SuperBowl Prediction Tennessee Titans VS New York Giants Remember, these predictions aren't based off anything, just a gut feeling. Who knows, my picks could go horribly wrong and make me look like a fool. That's a risk I'm willing to take.

I told you earlier, it's definately Baltimore for the AFC in my opinion, but NFC has been a toss up for me with the Vikings and Saints. Meh.

Yeah, I'd have to bet against Baltimore, although I liked the Drew Bennett signing today. I still can't see them overcoming Pittsburgh, who might not even be the best team in the AFC themselves. It's way too early to tell right now, but it's always hard to argue against the Patriots.

It's way too early to tell right now, but it's always hard to argue against the Patriots. Not trying to start a fight or anything. But, personally, I don't think Tom Brady will be like the old Tom. Call me crazy if you must, but I think being away from competition for so long is going to leave some rust. I think he'll snap out of it eventually, but he'll probably be kind of sloppy for, I'll say, at least half of the season. --- Also, I wag my finger at those who did not pick the Ravens to go all the way. Have some faith in these eyebrows...
