I have to make a thread about this match now that I FINALLY got to watch it after buying the Jarrett DVD. I still vividly remember being severlely disapointed that I started getting PPV access the exact week after this match. I ordered the PPV the next week (the only weekly TNA PPV I ordered) but damnit I was disapointed because that match was the one everyone was talking about and it delivered, and I missed it. Babyface Jeff Jarrett at this point was far too much of a Superman who kicked out of EVERYTHING, but this match was just a crazy old school brawl and I loved it. Still, I remember at the time, and still believe now, that Raven should have gone over because he was so insanely over after first appearing two days after his release and the "McMahon fears Raven" sign in the iconic picture of his debut. BUT the real reason I absolutely had to make this thread was because of Sabu, who came in to clean house on the ECW guys. What in the BLUE HELL was he thinking jumping directly into the crowd afterwards? He ing knocked some poor woman on her ass in one of the weirdest things I've seen in wrestling (in North America anyway).

Truthfully one of the most iconic matches in TNA history. Raven definitely should have gone over and at least held it until June or July before eventually losing it to AJ. At least it resulted in good feuds with AJ vs. everyone & Raven vs. Mitchell/Douglas/The New Church

One of if not the best match in TNA history. Raven made his epic return to wrestling and when he stole the title it was hard not to tune in week after week to see what was gonna happen. I really think they way Raven was so over it was his time to get the title. Kinda sad he didn't get it till 2005.
