From a conversation I was having with ICW:
gweakwf: it's called "Behind Fantasy Booking" or something like that and it's a collection of interviews talking about booking in general from me,you and J and a few others...Erna could do graphics and put it into like a DVD format almost...and we all put the link in our sigs saying: "The truth about Fantasy booking" in hopes people would click it and get interested.
Anyone who's interested, let's talk about this...I'm looking for Veterans though, we can try and hunt down some oldies.
This is the post to sort this out.
Pretty much it would be a collection of interviews with veteran bookers, and maybe a few legendary matches or shows (I'm thinking a 90 minute Iron Man match featuring Spanky and Kurt Angle as one of them) and yeah there you go.
We gotta try something to raise the dead.

haven't we done this like, 30 times before? Various interviews and such.. Not shooting you down or anything, but I don't see how this one would be any different

I think there could be ways to make the inteviews more...edgier. I personally feel there is always something more to add but that's just me.

It's not about us personally though or our feds. it's about fantasy booking itself...almost like Beyond the Mat.

I'd like it to be less Beyond the Mat and be more Kayfabe: The Movie.

Well that's why I posted this, for suggestions...but please go further into explaining your idea...

So are you saying like a documentary of Fantasy booking where all the bookers have gimmicked characters?

I'm game, what the hell. Even if its ineffective, its something to do as a bit of a collective unit anyway. I wish I still had some of my old contacts to get ahold of guys like Kevin Brown, LSD and a bunch of those guys....
Not a bad idea with the matches, show off some of the best. I could throw in the Christian Cage/Joe E. Legend Dead Eternity match.

Well it's a trailer about a movie which shows like how wrestling works pretty much behind the scenes right? Like how they use gimmicks and stuff...that's pretty much what Beyond the Mat is.

again. you completely missed the point.
Kayfabe is a mockumentary. Think of the Behind the Music: The Simpsons. It's a mock of everything the typical documentary is.
If proper time is put into this project, it could be really good. Otherwise, it could come off as another insider "huck huck" interview.
