Awesome, LA won the first show. I like how they got homefield advantage due to having the best record in NWL. Glad Ace was the deciding win for LA, hopefully he can keep up his hot streak and LA can win the championship. Keep it up man.

I am shocked to see Los Angeles Most Wanted win so dominantly. I am pulling for New York to win the whole thing though.

Jesus Christ. LA dominated the first show. Devin Curtis versus Evan Pagano was amazing. Very good match, I must say. I was actually surprised Curtis picked up the win. The rest of the show was great, especially the Bennett/Pagano match. Can't wait for the next show, and hopefully LA dominates once again!

L.A. dominates again as usual, glad I could pick up a win for NY and avoid a first night sweep. I really hope to see me get the win in a Hart/Ace rematch. Keep this up, can't wait to see what happens next.

...PRESENTS: NWL 'SERIES INVITATIONAL' FINALS! New York, NY 12/19/09 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 7,000 (SELL OUT)
The fans of tonight's show are starting to pack to their seats and we are about to get set for what could be the final night of the 2009 season for the National Wrestling League. Hello everyone, I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa, and tonight, the New York Crush set their sights to victory in their hometown, and look to shift the series back to Los Angeles for one more show! Let's bring it down to ringside were the action is about to get set!
vs. Match #1; Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Tom Diamond [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 17:40 of action, in a better match than what you would think and a pretty decent opener for the crowd, the Crush captain, Mike Bockwinkel, proved exactly why he IS the captain, as he finished off the young Diamond with the Bockwinkel Special to give New York the early edge! Diamond looked decent in the match, but he just seems to inexperienced to be here and he is bringing the Most Wanted down. Bockwinkel, on the other hand, looked straight out of his SCW days and really delivered the goods for his team tonight. Excellent showing for the captain tonight. New York Leads 1-0
vs. Match #2; Evan Pagano [New York Crush] vs. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 25:41 of action, in a rematch from last night's show in Los Angeles, Ace Bennett once again got the best of Evan Pagano, who was fresh this time, and finished the match by drilling him with the never-failing Syracuse Drop to get the three count. This match was a little better than last night, as Pagano was more on his game, but Ace still prevail and was too much for the St.Louis native. The crowd was a little upset that Pagano had lost, but appreciated the great match! Series Tied 1-1
vs. Match #3; Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 34:59 of action, Kevin Hart emerged victorious over his counterpart after a near thirty-five minute match, after he made the Most Wanted captain submit square center of the ring, to the Sharpshooter. The crowd, along with myself, was amazed to see Hart end the massive winning streak Dragon was one, but this match was really excellent. These two technical-brawlers shared some common ground in the ring and it made for a real good match and a great way to enter the intermission! New York Leads 2-1
- Intermission -
- Just like last night, a trivia game about wrestling was held between two fans attending the show. The battle was between a Crush fan and a Most Wanted fan. Of course, the Crush fan ended up taking the prize, a free copy of the 'Best of the Best 2009 Tournament' DVD....THE COLLECTOR'S EDITION!
- Fans were treated to some shirts thrown into the crowd by a few NWL officials.
vs. Match #4; Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 28:54 of action, Mike Bockwinkel put his fans into a frenzy, after he was able to connect with yet another Bockwinkel Special here tonight and bring this series back to Los Angeles for a deciding night. Bockwinkel, who wrestled only over an hour ago, seemed much more alert that Curtis. I think it was due to the massive amounts of applause Bockwinkel received when he came out. Curtis tried to really out brawl Bockwinkel, which is virtually impossible when he is on his game. Bockwinkel, who has eliminated that crazy gimmick, has come out flying here in the Series Invitational and it is great to see this series continue tomorrow! New York Wins 3-1
- The NWL Season concludes tomorrow in the always sunny Los Angeles, CA! Who will prevail as the first ever NWL Champions? The Crush or the Most Wanted? Tune in to find out everyone!

Damn Bockwinkel now he starts to show how good he is, great for him bad for LA, first match was obvious, glad Ace won again but why have a repeat match? I said Kevin would beat Dragon basically both teams have two top stars Bockwinkel, Dragon, Ace and Hart, knew Bockwinkel would win even if Mike had wrestled, good luck and keep this up

Well I saw NY winning that time. At least Ace got a win. Hopefully it comes down to Hart/Bennett once again and Bennett can pull it out for LA. Keep this up man.

...PRESENTS: NWL 'SERIES INVITATIONAL' FINALS! Los Angeles, CA 12/20/09 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 7,000 (SELL OUT)
Well folks, the time has come for me to say that this is definitely the FINAL NWL show in 2009! We are live here in Los Angeles, where the Most Wanted and Crush will do battle for the final time in this year's 'Series Invitational'! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and I'm pleased to announce that tonight's winners will become the first ever NWL Champions! Without any more delay folks, let's get on with the show!
- Before the show began, Jeff Gomez made a very heartwarming speech about how he appreciates all the fans who follow NWL, so tonight, everyone in the arena will be allowed to enter the ring and celebrate with the winning team if they would like to! The crowd likes this announcement and Gomez tells the crowd that we are about to begin!
vs. Match #1; Tom Diamond [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 16:43 of action, in a rematch from the first night in the finals of the 'Series Invitational', Kevin Hart once again topped his opponent and made him submit in the center of the ring to give New York a big first win! This match was once again a tad one-sided as the fans saw Kevin Hart make Diamond his whipping boy. The crowd was very disappointed with the start of this one, but there is still a long way to go before tonight is over! New York Leads 1-0
vs. Match #2; Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Evan Pagano [New York Crush] - After 26:51 of action, these two friends did battle inside the squared circle again and this time, Evan Pagano came out victorious which really shocked the Los Angeles crowd. Curtis was setting his friend up for a 450 Splash, but Pagano caught him off guard and nailed him with The Calling. These two had their third encounter this season and by far, this one was the weakest. The crowd was definitely upset with the outcome and became very worried for their team here tonight. New York Leads 2-0
vs. Match #3; Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] - After 30:54 of action, Ace Bennett literally saved his team's season with the match, as he was able to take down the captain of New York, Mike Bockwinkel, after crushing him with the Syracuse Drop. Bennett seemed to be a breath of fresh air to this crowd and these two men really had some gigantic chemistry in this one. Bockwinkel, who scored two wins for his team yesterday, fall flat in sweeping the Most Wanted for his team, so now we must wait until after intermission to find out our winner! New York Leads 2-1
- Intermission -
- It was announced that on January 1st, 2010, the off-season schedule will be released. Be sure to check NWL.com to see what is in-store this winter!
- Each fan attending tonight has received a coupon for a free NWL T-shirt this winter! Remember to order off NWL.com folks!
vs. Match #4; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Evan Pagano [New York Crush] - After 27:52 of action, poor Evan Pagano had to wrestle twice yet again tonight, and again, he fell to the fresher man in Red Dragon here. Dragon was able to tie up tonight's series by drilling his opponent with the Red Dragon Driver. The crowd was refreshed to see their home team tie up the series and they were also refreshed to see Red Dragon look back on his game. Pagano would've been better in this match, if he hadn't wrestled another one only a few moments ago! We are down to the final match folks, who will take it home? Series Tied 2-2
vs. Match #5; Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 56:36 of action, in probably the match of the entire year and an even better match than their encounter in the finals in the 'Best of the Best' Tournament, it was Ace Bennett who took the championship home for his team tonight! These two wrestled for nearly an hour, but Ace eventually put his opponent down after he made him submit to a STF following a Syracuse Drop. This match was definitely more technical than you would expect, but the chemistry between the two was just unbelievable. It was suprising to see Mr. Submission, Hart, lose the match after submitting in the ring, but it doesn't really matter. The match was just so unbelievable and the crowd went absolutely crazy went Ace got the win for the Most Wanted! They are now the NWL Champions of 2009! Los Angeles Wins 3-2
- After the bout, the rest of the Most Wanted came running out of the locker room to celebrate with Ace. Not took long after, the rest of the Crush came out to shake hands with the Most Wanted, out of respect for the sport. Before he left, Kevin Hart shared a long handshake, then hug, with Ace Bennett. Then, the fans became even louder as the Crush had exited and Jeff Gomez had appeared with the Championship trophy! He congratulates the Los Angeles Most Wanted on becoming the FIRST EVER NWL 'SERIES INVITATIONAL' CHAMPIONS! He then hands Red Dragon, the captain, with the trophy and Dragon raised it high. The trophy was then passed around between the team and finally, the crowd (basically, the front section) is allowed to enter the ringside area to celebrate with their team! Jeff Gomez then interrupted the celebration, announcing that Ace Bennett has been named Most Valuable Wrestler, MVW, for the 2009 Playoffs! Bennett is then presented with a separate trophy and he celebrates with his fans! What a night and what a season folks!
...
But, this is just the beginning for the NWL. Up next, the offseason and then next year, we join you yet again for another exciting season and some more exciting NWL action! Thank you everyone who has supported us this past year and we hope to see you all again next year! Goodnight everyone!

Awesome show man. Awesome that Ace won the MVW for the playoffs and got 2/3 of the wins to win the championship. I believe Ace went undefeated in the playoffs. Glad that it came down to Hart/Bennett once again and its great that it was better than BOTB. Its amazing that you made it through a whole season and you deserve major props just for that. Here's hoping that LA repeats next year, and gets some good draft picks. Great work once again.

Whoo LA are champs, the whole build up was incredadible with two losses at the start, I'm hoping that now Tom has been in the finals he will improve over the off season and if not he's getting the chop, Pagano finally winning over Dean was fun and also had me worried, Ace is unstopable after putting in 1 hour and a half of wrestling in one show, glad Dragon got his grove back, main event sounded spectacular maybe its abit much to have everyone hugging and shaking hands I want to see more feuds like Smith/Dragon, the ending sounded great personally I think this should go in HOF now as it would be a great time, I think you need to make it nice and clear what happens in the off season, I know you will anyway by PM, good luck and keep this up

-Nice to see myself open up with a road victory, put us on the right track -Very solid second match and a 2-0 lead, yet somehow I see this going to a match 5 -Bennett over Bockwinkle made sense as he avoids the sweep -Damn, match 5 is coming up. Dragon/Pagano is a good matchup -I really will never beat Bennett, this would've been the perfect time to avenge my BOTB loss to him lol. Or at least I should've won the BOTB. Regardless, who better to lose to? I'm glad we put on another classic and maybe I can finally get him next year
Fantastic show, tremendous season and I just simply cannot wait 'til next season.

Nice listings here. LyNN completely dominates the Chicago one. Hart is pretty much dominating the New York one. Boston and LA have a nice mix of people, specifically Boston. I like that theres a lot of Ace's matches on there. I laughed that there was three Smith vs. Bennett matches on the Boston DVD. Of course, LA would be the most bought due to the two Hart/Bennett epic encounters being on there. Nice work picking out the best matches man.

Nice first season, sorry I've been absent. The Most Wanted winning in the final show was great, a real good finale, the last three shows were intense, with the advantage going back and forth until the end.
