I missed Tri-State go 2-0 yesterday which is great. It sucks that my wining streak is over thanks to Ace but Kevin Shamrock & Duan Sanchez Jr. winning equals it out.

Nice show man. Glad that Curtis was able to pick up a win in the main event. Awesome that Ace stopped Justice's momentum this close to the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised to see Tri-State vs. LA in the finals. Lets just hope that LA wins. Keep it up man.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Boston, MA 12/10/09 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 5,000
The long season that has spanned for over 5 months now makes its final stop before the playoffs begin in Hartford, 3 days from now! But for tonight, we see Boston for the last time until next season and we hope the Brawlers can snap out of this funk for their fans! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and I am certainly looking forward to tonight's NWL action here in Boston!
vs. Match #1; Nick Jacobs [New York Crush] vs. Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 07:52 of action, in a laugher of an opener in most likely Nick Jacobs' final match in the NWL, Devin Curtis took him to school completely and ended up winning the match following a huge 450 Splash. The crowd enjoyed seeing Curtis hand Jacobs' his ass on a silver platter as Jacobs saw absolutely no offense in this match. The Crush are lucky that Pagano returns for the playoffs, because Jacobs is not playoff worthy!
vs. Match #2; Brian Thompson & LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Chris Hammers & Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 14:52 of action, the Chicago Warriors worked their way to victory in this tag match, with a little help from Hammers himself, after he walked out on Anderson flat during the match. Anderson was then forced to wrestle the match entirely by himself and it wasn't too long before LyNN was able to catch him with a Springboard Tornado DDT. The crowd at one point was very into the match, but once Hammers walked out on his partner, this match really dragged.
vs. Match #3; Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] vs. Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] - After 27:31 of action, in one of the hottest matches this year that surely deserved the big hand it got from the crowd, Tim Smith got himself and Boston a victory, in maybe his final match in the NWL, when he caught Duan with a STO. These two really put on a major match for the Boston fans and it was nice to see Boston go on top at least once tonight. The chemistry between the two men couldn't have been better.
- After the match, before intermission, these two men hugged and the crowd loved it.
- Intermission -
- These great Boston fans here tonight will receive a voucher for $10 off the upcoming DVD release entitled, "2009: Best of the Boston Brawlers", which comes out this winter!
- Check out the Roundup, the final one this season, for playoff cards, possible rumblings about who is going where, and the top 10 of the year!
vs. Match #4; Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz] - After 23:49 of action, Matt Justice got himself back on the right track after losing to Ace last show, following a big Double Underhook Powerbomb and pinfall to Trace Demon. The Boston crowd was actually BEHIND Justice, which came as a surprised to the competitors in the match and Justice built upon the roar from the fans. Trace Demon has really slipped lately and we can only hope he can come out firing next year!
vs. Match #5; Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Assassin [Chicago Warriors] - After 18:05 of action, these two captains waged war inside the NWL ring and it was Assassin who gave his team the clean sweep for the night, following the Assassin's Way to Bockwinkel. Mike just seemed a bit rusty in the ring actually, as he is showing signs of being normal in the ring again. His mat work was off and the victor, Assassin, took advantage and used his speed to put Bockwinkel down!
vs. Match #6; Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] vs. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] - After 26:40 of action, the regular season ended with an absolute bang from these men, and as you can imagine, Ace Bennett walked away victorious in this hard fought match, after he nailed Corino with the Syracuse Drop. Even though Corino is a Brawler, the crowd was still thrilled to see Ace Bennett take a victory to end the year on an extreme high note! This night had two really good gems in it and we are expecting more from Boston next year!
- THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL SEASON EVERYONE AND THANK YOU BOSTON FOR TONIGHT! WE RESUME ACTION 3 DAYS FROM NOW, IN HARTFORD, WHEN THE PLAYOFFS BEGIN!

Curtis win whoot whoot, sucks to have LA win they looked the stronger team but havn't been on form latley, Smith/Duan sounded awsome and glad Smith got a win, Justic with another win could be awsome next season, Ace winning at the end puts the icing on the cake, I guessing Ace and Dragon could win thier matches and lead us to the finals against Tri-State, good luck and keep this up

Woah, didn't notice this had been updated. Glad Devin and Ace both picked up wins. Awesome that Ace was #1 best of the year by such a large margin. Hopefully all four men of LA step up and we can win the championship.

...PRESENTS: NWL SERIES INVITATIONAL ROUND ONE; EASTERN CONFERENCE! Hartford, CT 12/13/09 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 7,000 (SELL OUT)
Ladies & Gentleman and every NWL fan out there, the moment has finally come. You have waited 6 months for this and tonight, the playoffs and the road towards the winner of the Series Invitational will begin tonight! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, we will find out if the Tri-State Evolution will advance to the finals, over their opponents the New York Crush, in their hometown. Let's get right down to business folks! Remember, there is NO time limit on tonight's matches!
- Before the show began, it was announced that Evan Pagano will be returning for the New York Crush tonight and Nick Jacobs has been sent down for the 'Invitational'. Also, Jeff Gomez, CEO of the National Wrestling League, made a little speech thanking the crowd for making this a sellout night! He tells the crowd that the night is about to begin, so please enjoy!
vs. Match #1; Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Evan Pagano [New York Crush] - After 26:51 of action, the crowd definitely went insane after seeing the ending of this match, as Duan Sanchez Jr. put away the returning Pagano here, following a SGM to open the night. Pagano definitely gave the crowd a scare, as he came out firing to begin the night. Duan matched him move for move and this match was definitely a great way to kick off the night. The sold out crowd erupted once the three count was made and Sanchez erupted with them! Tri-State Leads 1-0
vs. Match #2; Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 31:48 of action, the Evolution were back down to reality & life, after Kevin Hart was able to apply the Sharpshooter to Matt Justice, who had no choice but to submit. These two put on a clinic for the fans who paid good money to get here and the amount of action put forth in it was unspeakable. This is the best Kevin Hart has looked in recent weeks and Justice couldn't compare here tonight. The crowd definitely got a bit quieter following the bell of this match, but it was still absolutely awesome. Tied 1-1
vs. Match #3; Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] - After 19:20 of action, in a match with a ton of history between the two competitors participating, Mike Bockwinkel put the fans into a panic state, after he got a bit of revenge on Shamrock and nailed him with the Bockwinkel Special. Shamrock was just able to get the edge on Mike a few days ago and tonight, it was the completely another story. Bockwinkel out shined his opponent tonight and his crazy antics were left at home tonight. Fans are definitely worried that their night, and season, may be over soon! New York Leads 2-1
- Intermission -
- The fans chanted for the Evolution during the entire 20 minute break and they became pretty restless.
- T-Shirts were thrown into the crowd; all the shirts were especially designed for tonight's show!
vs. Match #4; Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 30:12 of action, the crowd became devastated after they saw their team's season come to an end, when Sanchez Jr. was forced to submit to the Sharpshooter, from Kevin Hart, right in the center of the ring. Both men had already fought some great matches earlier in the night, so they were both worn out. The quality of the match didn't suffer though, as they both put in all their efforts. The Crush were able to complete the win of the series after three straight wins! This was a complete upset in my eyes. New York Wins 3-1
- Following the win, the crowd gave Sanchez Jr. a round of applause and he was joined by his fellow teammates. A solid way to end the season here in Hartford! But, this is good news for the Crush, as they advance to the Series Invitational finals!
- We rejoin you folks tomorrow, in Los Angeles, for the Western Conference portion of the first round of the Series Invitational! Rest up; still a ton of action to come!

Love the opener and how it could have gone either way but glad Duan wan he's done better this season, Justice/Hart sounds awsome sad that Justice lost but once again Hart has had a terrific season, glad Mike won and nice to see him back on track, good win for Kevin now that Mike and Pagano are on track they are looking good, can't wait till the next playoffs, I feel we could see an upset in LA either Ace losing to LyNN or Dragon losing to Assassin, good luck and keep this up

Alright Duan Sanchez Jr. defeating Evan Pagano is great as it brings us 1-0. I am bummed that Kevin Hart defeated me in match two tying up the series. Mike Bockwinkel defeating Kevin Shamrock is sad as they now lead us 2-1. Kevin Hart defeating Duan Sanchez was upsetting. We got our asses handed to us and I am shocked, to be honest.

...PRESENTS: NWL SERIES INVITATIONAL ROUND ONE; WESTERN CONFERENCE! Los Angeles, CA 12/14/09 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 7,000 (SELL OUT)
Los Angeles is pretty beautiful in the wintertime and especially tonight, as the NWL arrives for the first round of the Western Conference part of the 'Series Invitational'. I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, we will find out what time will be meeting the New York Crush in the finals, which starts on the 18th and goes until the 20th, if necessary! Will the hometown Most Wanted take it home or will the Warriors upset them here tonight? Let's go down to ringside to find out!
- Before the event began, Jeff Gomez, CEO of the NWL, thanked the crowd for selling out the venue here tonight. He wishes both teams luck and tells the crowd that he couldn't imagine a better year for the NWL financially and action-wise.
vs. Match #1; Tom Diamond [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] - After 15:02 of action, in a pretty dull opener for the crowd in Los Angeles, Brian Thompson started Chicago on the right foot tonight, after he caught Diamond, who seemed very off, with the Roll the Dice. Diamond, as stated, didn't start right out of the box and that definitely hurt him in the match. Thompson, though, definitely looked pretty solid throughout the match and it is safe to say that carried the good part of the match. Chicago Leads 1-0
vs. Match #2; Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] - After 27:34 of action, the two best competitors from each team respectively did some awesome battle inside the ring tonight, but it was Ace Bennett who prevailed over LyNN, after he nailed him pretty hard with a Syracuse Drop. The crowd was absolutely stunned with how this great match was and the chemistry in the ring between these men was fabulous. Bennett was EXTREMELY over with the crowd and once he got the victory to tie up the series, the crowd absolutely exploded! Series Tied 1-1
vs. Match #3; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Assassin [Chicago Warriors] - After 22:39 of action, the battle of the captains ended in the way of the Most Wanted, as Red Dragon finished off his adversary with the Red Dragon Driver to send the crowd into a frenzy. These two used to be teammates and to face off against each other was just electric. Assassin looked to have the match completely in his favor, but Dragon quickly turned things around and got the win to put his team ahead in the series. The crowd was absolutely on fire as we headed into the intermission! Los Angeles Leads 2-1
- Intermission -
- Once again, like last night, t-shirts were thrown into the crowd designed especially for tonight's show.
- The crowd chanted very loudly for the Most Wanted, wanting to see them come out and win to move on here!
vs. Match #4; Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. LyNN [Chicago Warriors] - After 30:41 of action, in an epic encounter between two of the brightest superstars in the world today, LyNN brought his team back from elimination to tie the series up tonight, after he caught the weary Curtis with a Springboard Tornado DDT. During the end of the bout, Curtis landed weirdly on his neck and became very stunned and drowsy for the rest of the match. LyNN took advantage of this and the crowd was very upset that we are going to a 5th game here tonight to decide! Series Tied 2-2
vs. Match #5; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] - After 23:12 of action, the fans were extremely happy to see the result of this one, because their captain, Red Dragon, was able to put down Chicago's Brian Thompson, after he drilled him with a Red Dragon Driver. Thompson, who was able to defeat Diamond earlier, really looked excellent in this match, but it was to no avail. The power of the crowd following Dragon plus the fact that he is one of the best in the industry really helped Dragon win this one. Even though Chicago was eliminated, they put up a great fight here tonight and the crowd applauded both men following the bell. Los Angeles Wins 3-2
- After the show, the rest of the Most Wanted came out to join Dragon, who was celebrating his victory in the ring. What a night for the Most Wanted!
- We come back here on the 18th of December, for the start of the finals in the 2009 'Series Invitational'! PLEASE DON'T MISS THIS FOLKS!

Sad that Tom lost he is kinda the weak link in Most Wanted but hopefully being in the playoffs helps him improve, LyNN/Ace would have been great so glad Ace won as he is the top guy in NWL, Dragon/Assassin sounded all kinds of awsomeness, sad that Devin lost but he was up against LyNN, ME was great and good to see LA in the finals it would have been a travesty otherwise, 3 nights wow sounds awsome however don't you think it would drag abit? no doubt it will go to the last night and hoping it goes to Hart/Ace, night one looks abit predictable but the other nights look awsome, good luck and keep this up

All right! LA is in the finals! Ace picking up the win is pretty awesome. The finals look pretty good. Ace vs. Kevin rematch should be excellent if it happens, hopefully it has the same outcome. Obviously, I'm rooting for LA to take this thing. The offseason should be very interesting.

...PRESENTS: NWL 'SERIES INVITATIONAL' FINALS! Los Angeles, CA 12/18/09 - 8:00 PM Attendance: 7,000 (SELL OUT)
So, it has finally arrived ladies and gentleman! The beginning of the end of this season! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and tonight, live in Los Angeles, the Most Wanted & Crush will do battle in the first of possibly three, best out of 5 series and the winner will become the 'Series Invitational' winner and the NWL World Champions. Without further ado everyone, let's go down to ringside for the action!
vs. Match #1; Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Evan Pagano [New York Crush] - After 26:32 of action, these two great friends and St.Louis natives meet again here tonight, and once again Devin Curtis was able to emerge on top and finish his buddy off with a 450 splash with a pinfall. This match was great to get the crowd warmed and the chemistry was out of this world. The hometown crowd loved how Curtis was able to start the night off right for the Most Wanted and this match showed a ton of emotion! Los Angeles Leads 1-0
vs. Match #2; Tom Diamond [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] - After 13:41 of action, in basically a one-sided predictable match, Kevin Hart put down Tom Diamond pretty easily inside the ring front of the Los Angeles fans, after he made him submit to the Sharpshooter. Diamond only saw himself get a few chances for offense, but otherwise, Hart really dominated him tonight. The crowd saw this one coming I believe, since they really weren't upset to see Diamond submit. Series Tied 1-1
vs. Match #3; Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] - After 20:54 of action, the extremely hot Red Dragon continued his massive win streak as of late, by nailing New York's crazy captain Mike Bockwinkel with the Red Dragon Driver. These two had a classic encounter here and Bockwinkel really looked like he was going to take this one home for New York. Dragon got himself back into the groove of the match and sent the crowd nuts as he put the Most Wanted back into the lead going into intermission! Los Angeles Leads 2-1
- Intermission -
- There was a contest between two fans during the intermission. Both fans were quizzed on some wrestling trivia and the winner received a free copy of 'Best of the Best 2009: Live in Canada!' Also, t-shirts were thrown into the crowd like previous nights.
vs. Match #3; Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Evan Pagano [New York Crush] - After 28:53 of action, these two really found a sweet spot in the ring tonight, but it was the very fresh Ace Bennett who stole the victory from Pagano, who seemed a bit winded since he had wrestled already tonight. Pagano was going for The Calling, but Bennett dodged it and drilled him with the almighty Syracuse Drop. This win gave Los Angeles the win of the series and a 1-0 lead in the 'Series Invitational' finals. The crowd absolutely loved this match and I'm wondering that if Pagano was fresh, would he have gotten the win? Nonetheless... Los Angeles Wins 3-1
- This may be the last time we are in Los Angeles, but for now, we see you folks again tomorrow night, in my hometown, NEW YORK CITY! Rest up, the season could be over sooner than later!

Didn't expect Devin to win but glad he did, everyone knew Diamond wasn't going to win but its good exprience right? suprised at battle of the captains being so early but glad Dragon won I feel the only guy from LA who can beat him now is Hart same goes for Ace, whoo Ace won we go 1:0, I knew hiring one more guy than everybody else would help sometime, I expect NY to take tommorrow leading to the final night, I do feel its biased that the final night is in LA if you do a next season you should have the finals away from hometowns like Botb, good luck and keep this up
