Nice to see Jack Richardson get picked up by the champions. I wonder if Devin Curtis will be on LAMW this next season.

NWL.com [February 27th, 2009] Hello everyone, this is Jimmy Pietrafesa and I am live here in Los Angeles, CA to give you folks tuning in a recap of the second night of the 2010 NWL Entry Draft! Let's take a look at what went down today in the last two rounds!
Round 3
Once again, the Brawlers held the first pick in the round and they selected the brother of their first round pick, X Matt! X Matt, a 24 year old who has about the same amount of experience as his older brother, will be looking to break on the scene this year and it is possible since he will be on the Brawlers!
Next up we saw the Las Vegas Blitz, lead by Trace Demon. Demon selected Chris West for his team in the third round. West is also 24 years old, but he only has five years of wrestling experience. I'm not sure if we will see West this year, but I have a feeling this guy could be key in the coming years.
The New York Crush continued their trend in the third round by selected another oriental superstar in Tallarico Umasaki. Umasaki, a 25 year old who wasn't expected to be picked today, brings 4 years to the Crush and hopefully, we will see some of this guy in the upcoming season.
Kevin Shamrock was up next selecting for the Tri-State Evolution. The Evolution drafted the brother of fellow Evolution member, Stan Shafer, here in the third round. Stan brings just one year to the table, but is currently being trained by his older brother, which could mean that in the coming years, we could see the Shafers' teaming up to take on the entire NWL!
The Chicago Warriors were up next and they also selected a 21 year old in Blaze. Assassin selected Blaze here and he will bring along 3 years of wrestling experience. Once again, not sure if we will see anything from Blaze this year, but its a possibility.
Finally, to end the third round, the Los Angeles Most Wanted selected Richie Stevens. The champions bring in the 18 year old, going very young, who has two years experience. This could turn out to be a risk for the Most Wanted or it could pay-off greatly. Only time can tell.
Round 4
It was time for the final round of the 2010 draft and the Brawlers selected for the second time tonight. Corino, next captain of the Brawlers, choose luchadore Grizzly Bear, a 19 year old kid who barely has one year of experience in pro-wrestling. He could see some of Grizzly this year, but not very much.
The Blitz were ready to make their final pick next and Demon told the crowd that he had selected Daniel Sinn here in the fourth round. Sinn is also only 19 years old, but has an extra year of experience with him. Same thing that goes for Grizzly, goes for Sinn, we could see some of him, but not much.
The always nutty Mike Bockwinkel and New York Crush made their final pick of the day in Donnie East. The Crush selected East, a 24 year old here in the fourth round, even though he only has one year of experience with him. This could be a high gamble for the Crush, but only time will tell.
The Tri-State Evolution and Kevin Shamrock took their final pick next. Shamrock told everyone in attendance that they drafted the 25 year old Cyber Dragon in the fourth round. Dragon has 7 full years of experience and could possibly be wrestling this year for the NWL and Evolution.
Assassin & the Chicago Warriors certainly did make an interesting final draft pick tonight, as they selected Daniel Idol. Idol is a 23 year old with absolutely no experience in the world of pro-wrestling and he is looking to start completely fresh with the Warriors this year!
And for the final pick of the 2010 draft, the Los Angeles Most Wanted, 2009 NWL Champions, selected Il Dio. Dio is one of two brothers who were eligible to be drafted, but this 25 year old was the one who was chosen for the Most Wanted. Highly doubt we see him in action this year!
That about wraps it up for the NWL here tonight. Be sure to check back periodically for updates on the signing of the draft picks and news about free agency, which is sooner than you think!

Well Donnie East got drafted so I'm happy. Maybe we'll see some Coast to Coast face offs in the NWL.

In the free agent pool, you have Evan Pagano's name where Keely Matthews' name should be.

Just felt like doing a promo.
Cameron Stone:
So, my last season in the NWL was nothing short of a disappointment. I had a horrible record, was out of shape, slow, sluggish, and I had lost my focus. As a result, I was pretty much absent from the NWL during the last third of the season. I know that I'm better than that, as a former SFF World Champion and multiple time tag team champion, I ended up being the biggest bust in the NWL during the first season. To recify that mistake, I've been living in the gym since the end of the season. I was even offered the chance to Captain the Boston Brawlers this season , but I turned the chance down. I don't deserve it, and without the stress of being a captain, I can just worry about performing to my best. I've been training to get in better shape, and I've been working with former colleagues from the SFF to turn my career back around in the right direction.
I will be a force to be reckoned with this season. I am a tag specialist, and I feel that Steve Corino and myself can be the most dominant pairing in the NWL if given the chance, and I know I can carry my own in singles action. I will help lead the Brawlers to the promised land, and that, is Set in Stone!
