Lack of Ace Bennett is disappointing, but glad Red Dragon continues his huge winning streak. Surprised LyNN got the victory over Anderson in his debut. Keep it up man.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Los Angeles, CA 08/10/09 - 7:00 PMHello wrestling fans and welcome to the conclusion of the NWL Extravaganza Weekend! We are live here in Los Angeles, where the best team in the NWL look to improve their impressive record. I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa, NWL's Head Reporter, and these fans will be treated to the first ever 6-man elimination tag match here in the NWL! They will also see 4 singles matches! Without further ado... - Before the show began, it was announced that Tom Diamond of the Most Wanted has been sent down to the minor leagues and Jason Williams has been recalled. Williams is eligible to compete tonight. vs. Match #1; Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz]- After 20:04 of action, Duan Sanchez Jr. rained on Anderson's parade here, in the opening match, after he put him down with the SGM. Anderson still looked a bit rusty here and might have to get back into a groove before he hits his stride. This match was still solid and Sanchez appeared to be back to normal. vs. Match #2; Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Evan Pagano [New York Crush]- After 11:45 of action, Pagano continued New York's winning ways here, after he finished Thompson off with The Calling. Pagano didn't look shaken up at all after taking that nasty fall and he looked in his prime. Thompson tried to hold his own, but he was just over-matched. vs. Match #3; Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Trace Demon [Las Vegas Blitz]- After 09:57 of action, Trace Demon got his team a victory here tonight, after he planted Shamrock with the Demonstration of Hell and got the pinfall. Shamrock continues his losing woes and it seems that Demon has found his groove again. The crowd lost interest in this one early and it seemed to lack a little. - Intermission - - Another announcement regarding the NWL DVDs that will be released within the next month. Be sure to log on to NWL.com this week for the Roundup, where we will have more details! vs. Match #4; Assassin [Chicago Warriors] vs. Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush]- After 13:32 of action, Mike Bockwinkel officially snapped and ended up going nuts on Assassin and finishing the match with a victory after nailing a sick Piledriver. Midway through the bout, something went off in Mike Bockwinkel's head and he started going insane on Assassin. The crowd was in absolute awe as Bockwinkel ran out of the ring after he won the match. Very interesting. - After the match, Assassin picked himself up and just looked around. The crowd had a chuckle at his expense and Assassin needed to be helped to the back. vs. Match #5; Red Dragon, Ace Bennett, & Jason Williams [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Tim Smith, Steve Corino, & Josh White [Boston Brawlers]- After 32:58 of action, in the NWL's first ever 6-man elimination tag team match, Los Angeles were able to pull out a victory in front of their home crowd, after Dragon buried Corino with the Red Dragon Driver. Here is home the eliminations went down: 1) Josh White (By Ace Bennett) 2) Jason Williams (By Tim Smith) 3) Ace Bennett (By Tim Smith) 4) Tim Smith (By Red Dragon) 5) Steve Corino (By Red Dragon) - Afterward, the Most Wanted celebrated their victory inside the ring. Smith looked on bitterly as he walked to the back with his team. - The next time the NWL will be in LA is the 22nd of August! - We will join you in two days in beautiful Boston, MA! See you there!

Just got back from vacation, and I'm really loving the logos dude. It really adds to the already professional layout. Happy I got another win, and the main event seemed crazy, elmination 6-Mans are really awesome.

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Boston, MA 08/12/09 - 7:00 PMWelcome all to another edition of NWL Live! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa, NWL's head reporter, and I am here to report on tonight's NWL event in Boston! The Brawlers look to break out of their slump tonight and look to move back into first place. They will have 2 chances to do so, as we will see 3 tag team matches and 3 singles matches! Let's get right to the action! vs. Match #1; Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Jason Williams [Los Angeles Most Wanted]- After 09:54 of action, in a less than stellar opener, Matt Justice was able to capture his first ever NWL win following a Underhook Powerbomb and a pinfall. Williams was a little rusty from returning recently and Justice was able to take advantage of his sluggishness. Not a bad match, but not great. vs. Match #2; Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz]- After 17:42 of action, Kevin Hart was able to pick up the victory for New York here, after he locked in the deadly Sharpshooter and made King tap out in the center of the ring. The crowd ate this match up and these two styles meshed together to make the match very enjoyable. vs. Match #3; LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Josh White [Boston Brawlers]- After 13:08 of action, the red hot LyNN shut down Josh White in front of the home team's crowd and got the victory following a Sprinboard Tornado DDT. LyNN drilled White with his finisher and the crowd still applauded afterward even though there team lost. - Intermission - - Tickets for the next Boston, MA show were given out if you could answer classic wrestling trivia. 10 tickets were given out for the show on the 1st of September! vs. Match #4; Duan Sanchez Jr. & Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Devin Curtis & Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted]- After 21:31 of action, the number one team in the league came out victorious over the Evolution, after Dragon creamed Shamrock with the Red Dragon Driver. For being the last place team, the Evolution held their own against these two, but it was no use as Dragon eventually pick them to sleep. - Afterward, Tim Smith of Boston came down to stare down Red Dragon. These two have a bunch of tension between each other. vs. Match #5; Evan Pagano & Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush] vs. Trace Demon & Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz]- After 08:57 of action, Las Vegas picked up the victory, in a handicap match, over Evan Pagano following a Kenton Bomb from Anderson. Mike Bockwinkel never showed up to the ring and Pagano was left to fight all by himself. He couldn't last long and eventually the Blitz were able to get the victory. vs. Match #6; Assassin & Brian Thompson [Chicago Warriors] vs. Steve Corino & Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers]- After 25:45 of action, the home team finally got themselves a win, in an excellent main event, after Tim Smith caught Thompson with a quick STO and the pinfall. These four blended well in the ring and the crowd didn't want to see the match come to a close. - We join you next in Las Vegas, NV, tomorrow night! See you in less than 24 hours!

...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Las Vegas, NV 08/13/09 - 7:00 PMHello everyone and welcome back to Sin City! The bets on are tonight here at NWL Live, as we get set for what should be an amazing night of action. I, Jimmy Pietrafesa, will be bring you these results as always and tonight, we make some NWL history. We will witness the first ever Steel Cage match in the NWL, as Red Dragon & Tim Smith will battle it out and settle their differences! Also, the Las Vegas Blitz will try and get on the winning track in front of their home crowd. - Before the event began, the cage match was announced to the live crowd of about 4,500 people, one of the largest paid attendances in NWL history! vs. Match #1; LyNN [Chicago Warriors] vs. Devin Curtis [Los Angeles Most Wanted]- After 21:43 of action, in a helluva opener, LyNN was able to put the deadly Curtis down and get yet ANOTHER victory for himself and Chicago, when he surprised Curtis with a Springboard DDT (non-tornado style) and got himself the pinfall. LyNN looked great again tonight and this kid is working his way into becoming one of the bests in the league. vs. Match #2; Matt Justice [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush]- After 13:44 of action, these two put on a great show for these fans and Kevin Hart emerged victorious after he delivered a nice big superkick to the jaw of Justice and jumped on him for the 3 count. Hart came close to ending it earlier in the match, but Justice showed great resilience and battled his way through. - A handshake occurred following the bell. These two have a great deal of respect for each other. vs. Match #3; Steve Corino [Boston Brawlers] vs. Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz]- After 22:49 of action, Kenny King was able to overcome Steve Corino here, in a crowd pleaser, and got the victory following a roll up. King caught Corino very quickly with the roll-up and stunned the crowd with his win. Corino was extremely pissed off after losing this one. - Intermission - - A plug for the NWL Roundup on NWL.com was put in here. They will feature MANY announcements this week, so be sure to check them out! vs. Match #4; Brian Thompson & Assassin [Chicago Warriors] vs. Trace Demon & Ken Anderson [Las Vegas Blitz]- After 22:23 of action, in an excellent tag team event, Chicago was able to upset the home team here after Anderson suffered the Assassin's Way from Assassin. The two teams meshed well together, but Chicago proved that they were indeed the better team here and they were able to pick up another win for themselves here tonight. vs. Match #5; Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution] vs. Evan Pagano [New York Crush]- After 25:06 of action, the crowd did NOT want this match to end as these two men put on the show of the evening. Sanchez was able to pull away with the hard fought victory though, after nailing a beautiful SGM and getting the quick three count. The crowd cheered both men at the end of the match and these two definitely deserved it. My MOTY thus far definitely! - Intermission - - A NWL official came down and plugged the main event, which is coming up next, a Steel Cage match! This official noted that Tim Smith actually requested the 30 minute usual time limit be taken off in this one so he 'has plenty of time to inflicted his damage'. - As the cage was set up, the crowd began to become restless, but extremely pumped after the cage was all set. vs. Match #6; STEEL CAGE MATCH - Red Dragon [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers]- After 33:57 of action, in the most brutal NWL match to date, it was Red Dragon who STILL remained victorious over Tim Smith, even in a steel cage. Dragon finally finished Smith off after delivering a release Red Dragon Driver from the top of the cage, making Smith land from around 17 feet in the air onto the ring and then Dragon climbed out. The crowd was absolutely stunned and both men ended up bust wide open by the end of the night. These two took a part of each other out tonight and they won't be the same for quite some time. - Following the match, the cage was disassembled and a few workers had to help Smith into the backstage area. Smith was pretty banged up in this match, but the crowd definitely went home with their money's worth! - The next time the NWL will be in Las Vegas is 6 days from now, on the 19th! - We will join you next 3 days from now in Hartford, CT! Rest up NWL fans!

NWL.com - We have word that the new NWL DVDs that will be released will feature such categories as; The Best of Los Angeles; Triple Threat Showdown; Day-Time Smackdown, etc. Look for the first set of match listings to be released next week, just in time for the next NWL roundup! - We can almost confirm that either Alexisonfire or Spoon will be playing a set at the NWL 'Best of the Best' tournament later this year. Both bands have shown interest in the offer and we may see some great live music and wrestling! - Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] has apparently suffered a concussion from the Steel Cage match he and Red Dragon went through last night. Smith has been told that he will be able to compete just in time for a return to Las Vegas on the 19th! - Free agent Marcus Jones is now accepting offers from any team. Jones is looking to prove himself in the NWL and his short lived run with the Blitz really didn't give him an opportunity to do so. - Starting next week on the Roundup, we will bring you the Minor League Report, where we keep you NWL fans updated on the minor league of the NWL. Who's doing well and who is continuing to flop? Find out starting next week! Top 10 of the Week:1. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 1 (/)] 2.
