Utopia is gone and they are onto 2nd printing of it. Let me rectify...self contained events typically get printed in massive numbers. I like to think that there is a difference between a crossover and an event. And if I'm not mistaken... ::Checks his own copies for confirmation:: ...only chapter 1 of Utopia was self contained, not falling under the numbering of another on-going title. Yes...only chapter 1 of Utopia is self contained. The rest of the story is told out through other titles.

But regarding Blackest Night, I'd certainly count on some sort of reissue (does DC do "Director's Cuts"?), but not a 2nd printing for the sake of fulfilling demand. I know the book is flying out of my lcs, and there are still PILES on the shelves, in the back, and on the Green Lantern feature display.

Series has me hooked so far... I've read Rebirth and the Sinestro Corps War graphic novels/collections/TPB's/whatever and picked up #0 as well... snatched GL #43 2 weeks ago, then BN #1 and Tales #1 last week... GL #44 yesterday, but my LCS didn't have Tales #2 in for some odd reason...
Great series so far, I recommend to anyone with even a hint of interest in Green Lantern...

It is the truth. And for the time being, your sole purpose on this earth should be GLC comics. Namely Blackest Night. Far more thought goes into it than killing off the most sucked off superhero ever. Not that I hate batman. Just saying. Bring the Wayne family back. Make them Black Lanterns. Boom. The single greatest story in comic history. Now. Let's actually discuss this sexual being of a creation. Sye? You with me? CM?

I am looking forward to this coming out in trade.
After 25 years of buying comics weekly, I just couldn't afford to keep that up, not to mention afford the storage space of 25 years of comics. I finally had to sell them all, and only buy trades now.

I picked up the DC animated GL First Flight and in the extras, they actually recap and preview BN. Very cool and the movie is awesome.

I thought the Batman tie in was going to be kinda bad and deal mostly with Bruce Wayne but it was surprisingly good and the end was pretty shocking to me.

Probably gonna be tonght. I was finishing up Utopia and Blackest Night 2 last night. DC and Marvel are outclassing themselves with these two stories. I was told Batman Blackest Night was following Dick Grayson and thats what it looked like to me. I still want to know who took Bruce's skull and why?

I think they'll reveal why Black Hand took his skull in the main story or maybe the last issue in the Batman Blackest Night run.
Also I picked up the Superman one the other day and it was good but me not knowing a lot of what has happened in the Superman universe made me confused reading it, I may have to look up some things on Superman and then read it over.

Bruce is in no way involved with Blackest Night. he's not deceased. Bruce's story is supposed to pick up a bit after Blackest Night when the heroes realize that he didnt return as a Black Lantern and thats he still alive and The Search For Batman will begin.

WE know that Bruce isnt dead and thats not his skull or grave. But Dick and Damian dont. They still think his skull is missing. I heard that Bruce is stuck in some sort of temporal world or something. Sounds awful.
