It seems like every time he gets on the mic, it's amazing. He can still pull off the crazy guy gimmick, and he's kinda put a new twist to it. Mick is the highlight of the show for me.
Anyone else agree?

I love Mick but his slow heel turn was somewhat ruined for me given how it seems everyone in TNA is a tweener of sorts.

He is SOOOOOOOOOO SLOWWWWWWWW in the ring, his being champion totally tarnishes TNA. And I love TNA. But seeing him with the title belt is just weak. He should just let it go and move on already.

Really? You think the TNA Champion beating up a cardboard cut out of Rocky Balboa on the show before a pay per view is entertaining?

Not really. Personally I feel like he's gotten stagnant on the mic lately. His character, while understandably is done very well, is just boring IMo and really hasn't evolved in any what way since he started with TNA.

It's just Mick Foley does it poorly. He's a great guy, and he is one of my favorites but it's kind of embarassing seeing him with the strap. A decade ago, him winning the World title meant something. Now, in this decade, it doesn't mean anything. That and he's been beaten and crippled and jobbed so many times now, he's not really a legitimate threat anymore.

Agreed, an Old and wrecked blog that Mick Foley has ended up in is TNA's top guy is just ridiculous, whens the time TNA's just going to stop relying on these big names to get popular? Sting didn't work, Angle didn't work, Nash, Booker T, Steiner ect... So putting the strap on Foley is going to do anything.

If you ask a REAL worker how they think Mick is doing in TNA. I'd bet you my balls that they would say he is making ratings. He is amazing on the mic, he always is doing something to keep you laughing, and his matches are still so entertaining. The cardboard cut out was a joke.. if you think he's being serious by fighting a cardboard cut out you've got to be kidding me. He even said in a recent interview that he is taking TNA very serious at this point in his life and wants to make a second run in his career. If you look back, Shawn Michaels has made like TWO runs in the WWE. Leaving and coming back, you cant say when he won the title when he came back that it was any less legitamit. Foley is still as fat as he was back in the day and just as crazy. He's doing awesome in TNA and he's one of if not the greatest champ TNA has had concering keeping the crowd alive and ppv buy rates.

If you don't let nostalgia completely blind you, it isn't. Any holywood actor could cut an entertaining promo... it takes a little more to be an entertaining wrestler. Sorry I'm not going to laugh at everything Foley does because HE'S TEH MICK FOLEY!
It's a dark day when people consider this guy the highlight of the "alternative" promotion. There's a reason why WWE put Mick behind the commentary table... and it's not due to misuse of talent.

Im glad he's still wrestling and won the TNA title. But TNA banking on him as the key to their company just shows how poorly TNA fails at booking and bhuilding their company. TNA has turned into a hang out for all the old vets.

And you don't think SpikeTV had ANYTHING to do with that? Yeah, it's all TNA because they don't have to listen to Spike at all.
