Is it just me or has Vince McMahon been acting very immature regarding the whole Denver Nuggets ordeal. Sure, there was a mishap about the arena, and Vince had it first. But who really thought the Nuggets were going to make it this far?
It could have been worked out in a professional manner, but WWE is taking it to the extreme. Having John Cena (who is from Boston), sit in the front row of game 2 wearing a Kobe jersey? Putting an article on WWE.com calling Stan Kroenke "Chicken Nugget"? Scheduling a tag team match in which the heels are wearing Denver Nugget jerseys?
Is there really a reason to blackball the state of Colorado, as well as the entire Denver Nuggets team for a situation that could of easily been compromised?
Basketball haters - please stay out of this thread. I want an actual discussion to take place, not "Basketball sucks who cares" comments. But those comments will most likely come from the users who are under 16 and whose balls haven't even dropped yet.

I think Vince acted appropriately. He milked it for as much as he could, exactly what Vince would do for anything. I understand where you're coming from, however, there were already a couple thousand tickets sold as far as I know. Business lost thanks to the Kroenke.
And for the record I love the NBA so this was as un-biased as possible.

It is immature, but its generating publicity and thats what they want. People who dont normally watch wrestling might tune in, and thats what they want. They care more about getting new viewers then making the ones they've got happy. I know they want to get as many people viewing as possible but its kind of crappy for the real fans.

If TNA did something like this, it would be bashed by everybody on this forum. But when WWE does it, it's fine?
Don't call me Pro-TNA and Anti-WWE. Because I think both are terrible at times. WWE has been the stronger of the weekly shows lately though.

I honestly think that McMahon has milked it really well, as the previous poster stated. This is the most "controversial" publicity that the WWE has had in years, and they need it.

Vince is trying to get all the attention he possibly can out of this so maybe then he might be able to garner some more ratings for the WWE. I think its a pretty lame move on his part, the fact that RAW's main event is going to have wrestlers dressed up in Basketball Players is just getting over the top not to mention him meeting the Denver Nuggets owner, i'd agree that Vince is being a bit immature about it.

This isn't immature at all. The contract was broken without real cause. And it also shows how much the owner of the team cares for the team itself.

There's no need to worry about this happening to TNA, good sir. TNA can't book an arena that hosts anything regularly, so it's not an issue of double booking.

Yes, but the fact is, it isnt TNA, therefore it doesnt matter, I think he did what he would in any other situation with any other businessman/woman, I dont see it as imature.

Now that people are mentioning TNA...TNA did hop on in this WWE vs Nuggets "fued." They're offering 10% off TNA tickets in CO to those with WWE tickets... And they've also invited the whole team to one of the events in CO.

As far as them inviting the team - and? How many times has a basketball, football team, baseball team, etc been seen at a wrestling show? Plently. It's just giving TNA bashers another reason to bash tme.

it's not like this is a normal occurence or anything either. i don't blame vince for milking this, it's bad business by the Nuggets. they should get mutumbo out of retirement to face khali. plus we all know vince has always been a pretty petty guy. he reportadly wanted to wrestle a person dressed as a panda on one of the UK PPV's after the lawsuit and name change.
and tna does so much more for publicity which is why they would get more heat for it. we're talking about the company that in the past 6 months has tried everything including failing at obtainning sarah palin and rod blagovich.
