After seeing the little footage that we've seen, and reading about all the new features, I think it's safe to say.. this, i'm buying DOR again.

WTF is everyone complaining about? You guys are basing your opinions off of 30 seconds of footage! . Theres not a enough complaining going around kid. Explain why thq are releasing 09 with add ons? This is what they could of done, take 3 years off to work on a new game and just put DLC add ons for 09 to keep it fresh.

LOL, shame this video was made before the footage of SmackDown vs Raw 2010 as they could of added it to the list at the end of the video.

It's ironic, because how much was really changed from the first DOR to DOR2? Not that much. As far as gameplay went all we got was a new submission and stamina system. I still think people are making a much bigger deal out of it than there needs to be.

SD haven't reached the good gameplay mark yet its been broken for a long time.

I for one am happy with the Smackdown! franchise. I have owned all 9 games and enjoyed playing each one of them. There were some flaws along the way, but I for one will always stick by it!

Although, after playing some VPW 2 online earlier, it could be eventually possible.

Create-A-Road To WrestleMania would be weird. I think it would suck for the most part, but maybe you could come up with some pretty cool storylines, angles, fueds, ect. and play it out, but I couldn't see it being very good however, if it was actually something the game would have.

So I was looking through the Superstar of the Day archives on WWE.com and I saw a face that I had completely forgotten about. Considering Legacy's importance over the past year, they're bound to be involved in a RTWM, even if Orton doesn't have one. So my question is, does anyone else think that Manu might end up making it into this game?

I think THQ/Yukes would've had enough time to remove him though considering when he was released.

Yeah, they definitely would have by now, but if he was involved with a RTWM, chances are they would keep him in anyway--or at least I'd imagine they would. Can't really say that I'd want him in, but at least if he is we'd be getting another new guy.

I think Helms will be the game so I hope he has an alt attire to be the hurricane. If not, maybe DLC?

Eh, I don't know. It sucks that we keep getting the same game with some different features released every single year. I wouldn't mind if the engine was GODLY, but it's so weak. It's so fast if feels like an arcade game. The phyics, the the controls, the whole thing doesn't feel like a wrestling match. If you play No Mercy or DOR, those games, actually felt like a real match. SvR just feels like I'm playing Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter.
They REALLY need to re-vamp that mediocre engine.

I am somewhat fine with the gameplay, but there are just lots of things I dislike about it. They need a new reversal system where you can reverse before and during a move, and have the reversals be ACTUAL MOVES instead of a stupid push or kick. I'm not sure but I think No Mercy let you choose what kind of reversal you wanted for different positions. I've always wanted apron grapples like in NM and DOR. The AI reversing everything is annoying, they need to fix the strong grapple stuff because going into a never ending loop of strong grapple reversal animations is so boring. It seems like it takes forever just to hit a strong grapple. They're having a 'World Premiere' event the day before Summerfest.
