Well after counting the ra38.5 fig and the new IE with vader fig, that brings the total releases of that kane figure to 17. This has got to be the most times one thing has been released. In the 17 releases the figure was altered only once or twice.
Just for proof:

So since the very first release in AD15, jakks has abused this figure releasing it constantly for years. The scan would have obviously been taken around 03 so the scan itself is kanes look from 6years ago (hes older now so things would have changed a bit) PLUS jakks didnt even get the figure right the first time. Kane NEVER had an actual belt for the figure, it was a design on the tights. Not to mention, jakks doesnt even do his tight designs below the knee (even though they did on the DA and BNB) and kane stopped wearing those boots only a very very short time after switching to just tights.
Seriously, this is beyond ridiculous. Sure, kanes attire is relatively the same but how hard is it to add a new scan or give him the correct boots? A new more suitable torso? How about actually getting the tight designs right first?
Just a statistic i thought id point out. It exemplifies jakks laziness....
No figure should EVER be released 17 times!!!

I feel the same way with Orton. Up until about Ring Rage 20.5, I owned every Orton they had released. Then they just started putting out what seemed like the same figure. Slight differences on the paint, but not enough to warrant the $10+ that they now charge.
The problem is, much like Jeff Hardy and The Undertaker, it's hard to change up the attires when the wrestlers themselves do not change.
To spice things up a bit, I have done head swithces and glove changes just to make them a little different. The Havoc "Big Lots" Kane head looks great. Tad small, but still a nice change. The DA head and gloves give the average Kane a nice makeover.

I mean it IS a good figure, but to be released 17 times the exact same way is just inexcuseable.
There is one other variation...the RTWM24 series 2 had the rib tape which makes that particular figure stand out.
I think if anything Kane needs a new scan over all others

But he still looks the same. so does rey and triple h and HBK and many others but they get new scans. just adds nice flavor to the figures to make them worth the 10 bucks. |

If anyone needs a new scan it's Kane, even the Havoc one is the same scan just with slightly more pronounced detail, but that's too small anyway. I know some people disagree but I really like the DA scan alot more than the RA, plus it's exactly the same size and style as the RA so they interchange really well. Jakks could at least have used that one a few times on some of his figures. Apart from that he shoulda had tall kickers while he wore those, that makes him taller too. Even Thunderlips boots would be better than the "Kane boots" because those are inaccurate and too short, at least they would be laced, I have no idea why they would make boots specifically for Kane and not make them taller anyway, let alone why they still use them now. The weird belt thing should have gone by now, they coulda used a different glove mold here and there for a change. Another thing is that the plastic doesn't match, if you see any Kane figure under bright light (including CS and DAs) then the arms and head are far pinker than the torso. It's so obvious that the just reuse the same formula over and over. Kane could have had so many cool figures by now, it's beyond pathetic that Jakks just rereleased the exact same figure for so many times in RA but to then rerelease it yet again as his final CS figure!!! It is so disrespectful, they may aswell not make any Kane figures at all, the only good ones are the CSDAs and DA.

I gave the bandaged Kane from WM24 singles to my friend. Was a factory reject but near perfect condition.
The only Kanes i have are the DA BOD open mouth scan (2pack with DA taker and coffin), CS18 (?), CDSA BOD and CDSA single pack.

Kane can feud with Ric flair over How may times Kane's Figure has been rereleased 1 more time than Ric Flair's title reigns! (I know Flair had more title reigns, but this is WWE)
