I was watching this web match (which was a good match live btw just for the finish) and Mike and Don mentioned that for the first time ever, there would be two KOTM matches: One for the World Title and one for the X title.
I'm ok with it to an extent. Last year's X Division KOTM on Impact was better than the actual world title one.

I love it. It makes the X-Division look "big time" tbh.

I'd like to see Red get thrown in it personally as well.

Not trying to start a comparison to WWE here, but it works at No Way Out with the Elimination Chamber.

Two? King of the over kill more like. Well, in fairness they at least have a purpose I mean, its not a stretcher or ladder match just to avoid producing a match targeted at wrestling. I'm not the strongest supporter of TNA's, lets book everyone, method for pay per views but in this case we have a goal for each match. Who does not want to be champion and at what extent will the champions have to go to keep what is theirs. |

I don't think I like this that much. Personally I just find KOTM to be a really goofy kind of match. They're fun to watch because of the guys involved but the rules are really contrived and it becomes even more noticeable when you have the same match on the card.

Probably by what I mentioned about the Elimination Chamber at NWO. I don't see how since TNA did the "All cage" PPV before WWE did the two EC in one night. Kinda the same thing here.  |

I just don't see why they need a gimmick match in order to "elevate" the X Division title. Do what they used to do and just give the X Division guys the time to have a great match and show the fans how important it is to the wrestlers. |
