Like McBlake said I do see it being a very similar situation to last year hence why I think Real will win it 3-1. I really hope Atletico do them though.

Hate to say it but Jose's panicking and tactics cost us the Game. Even at 1-1 the Tie was still in our reach, we should of remained patient and then gone for it with 10 minutes to go while Atletico have no choice but to sit deep, just like we did against PSG. Instead, Jose panicked and brought on Eto'o 5 minutes into the second half, going 4-4-2 and losing all of our shape. We were instantly over run in the middle and allowed Atletico to get the ball and control the Game. Infact, I could even go back to the original line up. Fair enough by all means park the bus away from home and get a draw, but to do it at Home in the Second Leg against a Team that aren't exactly a possession based side made no sense to me. Should have gone 4-2-3-1 with Hazard, Oscar and Willian.
All wrong from Jose in this Game but he wont see it.
Expecting a very tight final if I'm honest.

Poor Benfica, will that curse ever end? Horrible way to lose.
Massive respect to Sevilla, M'Bia and Bacca looked dead towards the end but still took great penalties.

Feel for Benfica, second year in a row they've been denied the Treble, and their fans were great last year in Amsterdam so I would of liked to see them win. Shocking penalties that missed though, called them both instantly that they weren't going in.

The curse is a joke and it wasnt even about Uefa Cup. When he said what he said he was talking about being European champion (which Guttmann was twice with Benfica). And missing penalties has nothing to do with knowing or not knowing how to take one. If that was true, Pirlo would never miss them. It's much more about the keeper (and Beto was crap in Portugal his entire career). He basically used an old school portuguese tactic which is taking like 4 steps ahead. And the ref did nothing...

Those two that were missed I telegraphed from a mile away. It was that stupid run up they both did.
So buzzing for La Liga tomorrow. If Barca win they will be without a doubt the jammiest title winners in years and years.

My girlfriend's Dad is a Benfica fan and he walked out the room before Cardozo even took his penalty, saying that he'd miss. Beto should have been called back after the first time, watching the penalties back, it's awful how far off the line he travels.

Maybe a bit jammy, but when all is said and done whoever is top of the table at the end of the season deserves it. If it's Barca, they deserve it. If it's Atleti, they deserve it. They will have been the best team over a period of 38 games.

The same could be said for Atletico and Real too since they, along with Barca, have squandered chances to pick up more points towards the end of the season. I like that Atletico are in the fight so that it's not just a two horse race as usual but I still want Barcelona to win it.

I agree with you 99% of the time - had Barca won it would be the only time I've ever seen where the deserving team didn't win it imo, in any league I've followed. But thankfully I don't have to say that, because the best and most deserving team won the league. Roll on the CL final!

Congrats to Atletico. Would have been gutted if they lost, hope they do Real next weekend too.

Devastated for AM, they were moments away... And there couldn't have been a less deserving player on the pitch to score the vital goal than Bale, was sh*t all game. So harsh on AM to lose by 3 as well.
Side note: Redknapp's punditry was appalling in the build up.

Good old Gareth. ;D So proud.
Redknapp is out of his depth next to Souness and Neville.

I didn't see Sky's coverage, but I heard that Souness was basically saying that Modric contributes nothing to Real Madrid. If he did say that, he's a in' idiot. Modric has been a workhorse every time I've seen Real this season. And yeah Bale was crap but so was most of the Madrid team in the 90 mins. Ronaldo was pants, Benzema did nothing.

I didn't hear that - if its true then he is silly for saying that. I'll let him off though because he does speak sense most of the time and that's more than pundits like Redknapp can ever do. Di Maria got a deserved MOTM, he was excellent, although had Ramos not scored Godin would've surely got it. Everyone thought ADM was ed after Bale arrived but since Ancelotti switched to the 4-3-3 he's been vital. He's arguably Argentina's key (not best) player too in that team.

I wanted Real to win (Because of my Bale man-crush) although the final score was unfair. Both Ramos and Godin were epic but Di Maria was the difference maker. Great work, he did what Ronaldo and Bale should have been doing all match.
Speaking of bad punditry, Stevie G was on ITV. They asked him who he thought would win... And he said Madrid.
