does anybody know which event was the 4 horsemen formed for the 1st time?

It wasnt an event that they were formed at it, it was at an tv taping were Arn just happend to say something about the 4 horsemen of the apocoplypse, the interview is on youtube somewhere, its also on there and ric flairs dvds

Actually it was in 1985. Flair was feuding with Rhodes I believe, Blanchard with Magnum TA and Ole and Arn with someone (RnR Express maybe?) anyway Flair has been connected to the Andersons all his career as a "cousin". Dusty and Magnum were friends and every member hated those two so Blanchard squeezed his way into the group. During a taping in 85 they were running out of time and decided to have all 4 (since all were heels) cut their promos at the same time. During the promo Arn took the mic and said " Only once had so much damage been caused by so few, Arn screamed, “and to find that source you need to go all the way back to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.”
The rest as they say, is history

They formed in January of 86. At least that's when the naming came about.
Though Ole, Arn, and Flair had attacked Dusty and broke his leg during the summer of 85
All of the other information already mentioned is correct though.
